On a warm evening night, Bo and surrounding restaurants expand their seating onto the Placa de la Vila square. The atmosphere is very laid back and pleasant. Food is ok, and nothing to rave about. Out of 4 dishes that we ordered(fried eggplant slices, patatas brava, 4 taquitos de bris, and grilled octopus) fried eggplant probably was the better one. Nice thin slices of fried eggplant lightly drizzled with balsamic glaze. Grilled octopus dish was over-grilled and octopus was very rubbery. Nice experience to catch up with friends over a drink.

We were told the Gràcia area was a good area to grab food & drinks. We came upon this restaurant after failing to find another in the area that by the time we reached it was no longer serving food When we arrived it was empty but not for long. We were a large group & there was no trouble being seated. We started with Pitchers of Sangria, nice tasting sangria. after our meal a few had some beers good as well cant really go wrong with beer. On the food(1) Spicy Meatball was very good not really spicy but very good on the pasta the(2) Rigatoni with 4 cheese was pretty good, a bit heavy on the sauce but good taste(3) Nice Shrimp in garlic sauce(4) Patatas brava w the sauce on the side also good(5) Nice Salad(6) Decent piece of meat & a good(7) fajita. Nice place small, good quick service & reasonable prices.

it’s just ok. i’ve definitely had better tapas in this area for less money. food: we ordered the fried brie, steamed mussels fisherman style(tomato broth with onions), tomato bread, garlic butter shrimp, and patatas bravas. everything except for the mussels was served lukewarm, which is probably why their service is pretty quick. drink: i had the red wine sangria, and wasn’t sure if there was any alcohol in it. i had half of a pitcher by myself, got no buzz, and it tasted more like sugar than anything. service: we had an english-speaking waiter who was quick but not especially ingratiating. the restaurant also had outdoor heaters, which were nice at night.

Cool, somewhat touristy restaurant in a nice plaça. The sandwiches here are really really good. The food is fast. I recommend their«Musclus a la Marinera,» which is my personal favorite here, but pretty much anything is good, and of course their Bravas are delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed, not to mention beautiful, with a big clock tower in the middle of the plaça. Fairly touristy, so fairly expensive, so that’s something to keep in mind. What you’re paying isn’t always the food, but sometimes the location. That’s my only real criticism though. Good stuff here.

The Spanish aren’t know to have fast service… unless you come to Bo’s at night. My guys, these guys were lighting fast and the food and drinks were excellent. Bo’s is located in the Gracia’s neighborhood, away from the tourist and surrounded by locals. Delicious food!!! No wifi except for inside the restaurant.

Sat on the patio enjoying a few Gin Tonics w/friends overlooking Placa d la Vila Gracia. They’ve got cool flaming heaters and tables that look out onto a nice square. Didn’t have a chance to eat anything, but I can imagine it’d make for an enjoyable tapas experience.

Went at 11PM on a Saturday night, place was still open but empty and foodservice over even though advertised as late night. Other places in the area open and serving food, thankfully.

Both times I’ve gone to Barcelona, I have made sure to meander over to Plaça de la Vila Graçia and have a few drinks and tapas at Bo. Graçia is a refreshing oasis of a neighborhood, especially if you’re staying in the bowels of the Barri Gotic and are used to being overwhelmed by aggressive tourism. The square itself is a cool place to hangout, and Bo offers mostly traditional Spanish fare with some daily variations that are more adventurous. Usually when I go, I’ve got a hankering for some traditional Catalan tomato bread and croquetas. The croquetas at Bo do not disappoint – especially the ones stuffed with jamon iberica. But honestly, you could stuff a shoe with jamon iberica and I would rave about it. The food is good, if not the most memorable thing, but the real reason to visit is for the ambience and the characters in the square. Be prepared for lots of children running around chasing pigeons after school hours. Sitting at an outdoor table at Bo is a great way to spend a lazy, sunny and buzzed afternoon in Barcelona.
