BrewDog

Bit torn on this one. While the beers are absolutely brilliant, the food lacks a bit of finesse. I had a burger which was okay but nothing to write home about. Which is alright, this place is about the beer, and that is top notch.
During my stay in Barcelona I visited often, so I could sample as much as I could. My favourites definitely were the Punk IPA (hardly a surprise) as well as the 5am Saint, however the much-​celebrated Born To Die left me wondering what the fuss was all about. Hardly anything special, and for the price (6 Euros for 25cl) it sure left much to desire.
Overall atmosphere is casual, however it could use a bit more warmth. The novelty aspect of industrial-​look-​establishments wore off some time ago in my opinion. There’s a selection of board games if you feel like it, and some nights there’s live music.

I was on a journey to sample IPAS from around the globe. I came to brew dog to do just that. My first visit, I sampled the Punk IPA and Hardcover IPA. Both were really good and had hoppy flavor profiles without being over citrisy. Hardcore clocked in at 9.2 ABV putting it in the moonshine category, but the high alcohol content didn’t hurt the taste.
I came back another day with a group for food and beer. The atmosphere is casual, but nice with booths, tables and a few tv’s. There’s even a couch but it was too close to the door and it was a little cold. They had board games available for a nice distraction that didn’t involve typing into a smartphone — very nice!
We had the nachos and humus, along with frites covered with awesome sauce. One of our party had the beef burger, another had the vegan burger. I opted for the chicken club on flatbread. It was all really good, and proof that you dont have to eat tapas in barcelona to get a great dinner.
They need one of these in dallas in a bad way.

BrewDog es una de las marcas más importantes de cerveza artesana del mundo. Para los que nos gusta esta bebida, fue una gran noticia que abrieran uno de sus bares en Barcelona. Casi un año después de su inauguración, creo que han estado a la altura de la marca y se han convertido en una cervecería de referencia en Barcelona.
En el BrewDog Bar ofrecen sus productos más representativos, así como novedades y cervezas artesanas invitadas. De esta manera, cubren una gran variedad de estilos cerveceros y están a la altura de los amantes de la ceveza más exigentes. Siempre encontrarás algo nuevo que probar y una cerveza que te encantará.
El local está muy bien, es amplio y con distintos ambientes y tipos de mesas. El servicio es de lo más amable y te ayuda a elegir en caso de tener dudas. No es un producto fácil y ellos siempre te explican qué tienen con una sonrisa. Además, hay música de fondo, normalmente rock alternativo, y, a veces, conciertos. Todo muy en la línea punk de la marca. Por si fuera poco, los precios son bastante razonables dentro de lo que es la cerveza artesana.
Si te gusta la cerveza, BrewDog Bar es un lugar al que tienes que ir. Seguro que no te decepcionará.

Good beer stop! They have a list that they brew and some from other countries, so they have a good selection! We tried a couple and then also had some food. We got the French fries which were yummy and the Brie bites, these were also pretty good. Overall, a nice stop.

Si te gusta la cerveza artesana, disfrutarás del lugar. La decoración es moderna, se respira un buen ambiente y, a diferencia que en otros establecimientos, puedes compensar el nivel de alcohol en sangra comiéndote alguna hamburguesa.
Tienen una gran variedad de cervezas embotelladas y 10 tiradores de barril. Creo que si bajaran 50cts por pinta, tendría precios más competitivos con el resto de establecimientos similares.

Otro buen bar de cerveza artesanal en el centro de Barcelona. Precios muy buenos y la cerveza es insuperable. La marca Brew Dog es garantía de calidad. Tiene casi todas las variedades de la marca y varios guest taps. Muy recomendable.

Primer bar de la famosa cervecería Escocesa en nuestro país y visita obligada para los amantes de la cerveza.
Aquí no solo encontrarás cervezas de su marca, también podrás disfrutar de sus «Guest beers». Cervezas de otros productores, las cuales pueden llegar a ser espectaculares. Ya no solo por su calidad, si no por ser cervezas difíciles de encontrar por estos lares.
A parte de cervezas, disponen de carta de tapas, hamburguesas y demás. Comparado a otros locales de la zona, no está mal de precio.

Si eres fan de la cerveza artesana y detestas la cerveza industrial, este es tu sitio.
El primer flagship de Brewdog en Barcelona, que además de tener carta de cervezas de la marca, también tienen carta de cervezas invitadas. Ambas cartas van variando, lo cual hace que la oferta sea casi interminable.
Además hacen comida para acompañar los tragos: nachos, bravas, aros de cebolla, y hamburguesas, incluso vegetarianas.

Local de la famosa cervecería independiente escocesa BrewDog que ofrece 10 tiradores con sus con sus cervezas propias y otros 10 con «invitadas». Además tienen una extensa carta de birras embotelladas dividida entre sus «headliners» (las clásicas como la Punk IPA, Five AM Red Ale, Dead Pony Ale, etc), las «amplified» (un poco más complejas) y las «small batch» (las de producción limitada o de temporada) más las de otras cervecerías. También hay tapas para picar y hamburguesas para que el alcohol no se suba tanto a la cabeza.
Lo que me gusta mucho es que no es el típico bar de cervezas artesanas pequeñito donde tienes que acercarte a la barra a pedir, sino que es grande, cómodo y moderno y con buen servicio por parte de sus camareros.
Si todo sigue así con esta proliferación de cervecerías especializadas, esta zona ya no sólo se conocerá como el Gayxample sino que también se convertirá en el Beerxample… y el BrewDog será un local de esos de referencia de los que siempre encontrarás llenos a tope.

Otro lugar para los amantes de las cervezas, la variedad es impresionante, en colores, tipos y hasta en precios.
Si te consideras amante de las cervezas, éste es un lugar que debes visitar.
Mi recomendación personal la Five A.M. una Red Ale sabrosísima.

typical brew pub. this is franchised by brew dog. they are doing everything correct here. nice lights. comfy seats and tables. nice ambience. about 16 taps 8 are brew dog beers and 8 «guest» beers… changes often as the place is fairly busy. has wifi. i like it. more like 3.5 stars… still finding their feet. good option.

Good beer selection and prices were as expected for craft beer. Additional porter/​stout options on tap other than imperials would have been nice.
The best part was a particular bartender who could speak English and he took the time to talk to us about the beer scene in the area. Education & engagement of customers is critical for a craft beer place to succeed, especially when it’s in a place like Barcelona which still has a lot of room to grow their craft beer culture. So many places like this focus on pushing beers and not so much the interaction with the customer. Good for BrewDog for caring about beer & the customer and not just about making money.
The lighting was weird in our spot and was shining directly in my eyes (as well as the painting on the wall) and it was a bit noisy in the room even though it wasn’t busy at all.
Based on the great service we had, if I lived in the area, I would visit this place a lot.
