Great little place with a good atmosphere. We both had the benedict where the muffin had cranberries in it, adding a slightly sweet taste(muffin was not toasted). The vanilla milkshake was great. Coffees were decent, and they know how to make a cappuccino. Dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved.

This was my first time visiting Barcelona and on my honeymoon as well. We were super stoked to visit different neighbourhoods and randomly choose cool stops to eat and drink. When we approached Brew Dog and realised it wasn’t opened yet we decided to grab a snack at OMA which is located right beside the bar on Casanova. When we walked into OMA we were greeted by a very snobby hostess. I thought it was part of the whole hipster cool deal so I did not give the poor greeting any mind. But it was when we waited for three minutes to be seated only for us to seat ourselves when a waiter came out if no where and yelled at us from across the room that the place we chose was for four people instead of two. I asked him where we should sit and he pointed at a very old and wore sofa from the eighties or two stools located right by the door. He said if we rather we could wait for an opening. We chose the sofa, and we sat it was like two inches from the ground. As a standard procedure I got up to go the bathroom to wash my hands in the water closet, only to notice there was NOSOAP! The container was dry, like not recently empty but like dry. So my first question was where do the employees wash their hands??? When I got back to our seat we had been moved to a two seater table across from a couple who was sitting at a four seated table. I took a double look because didn’t the waiter just yell at us that these tables were reserved for four person parties? So I took deep breaths and waited for a menu to arrive. We waited, and waited while I watched three employees talk to each other, one circled the floor twice before making eye contact with me, the same guy who yelled at us. Now I don’t know if it was because we were a biracial couple, tourists or both but the looks were not so friendly. Finally when the someone came to the table we explained it was our first time here and had no clue about the seating or how to order from their odd menu concept. So when we finally figured it out we ordered mimosas and chicken fingers with yogurt and mint dip. Then I asked him«where do the employees wash their hands?» He looked at me so oddly and said«what…why?» I told him I wanted to know because I was curious to know if they shared the same water closet with guests, he «yes we all use the same bathrooms.» So I politely told him that there was NOSOAP! He apologised and said he would put some. I then watched him make the order and go and take two more orders from other tables, then seating another guests.(All while running his hands through his hair, wiping his nose with his fingers) My autistic husband went to wash his hands and came back complaining about their not being any soap for him to wash his hands and when he sat down there was water dripping from the above pipes. That is when things just went downhill for us because the waiter who yelled at us came back and told us not only did they not have anything make mimosas,(it’s a brunch place) also they did not have the dip we ordered for our chicken and that we needed to hurry up because the kitchen closed in 45 minutes. I laughed and asked him if he washed his hands recently and he said«Yes!» I mentioned if he noticed there was NOSOAP. He got so defensive and said he would change it right now. He didn’t he walked toward the snobby hostess and began talking smack. At that point we got up and left and sadly will never return for their sh*t infested food. Thank God the Brew Dog rocks! It made my day!

After months of searching, I finally found the perfect place where you can spend hours hanging out, working on your laptop, reading or just relaxing. OMA Bistro is quiet, cute and very comfortable. You can camp out as long as you would like, eating one of their delicious cakes and drinking freshly squeezed juices, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. My only issue is that you have to re-login to the wifi quite often, since it’s through social wi-fi, which can be bothersome if you’re getting work done. Other than that, it’s a lovely place, especially for brunch and breakfast. Seriously do not miss their granola and fruit yogurt. For such a simple meal, it is absolutely delicious!

I really like the ambience in this place. It’s got a bit of a hipster vibe, but not obnoxiously so. And the food is really good, especially their cakes. I’ve developed a bit of an addiction to their brownie cake. Their aero press coffee is a little pretentious, but tasty, worth a one time try
