My sister and I had been wanting to come here since before it had officially opened! We are huge fans of the Dos Santos brothers and were excited for this! We finally got around to going to Barcelona and trying it out! I was not disappointed at all! Our waitress was super helpful and friendly. We had the chips and salsa, the chilaquiles, horchata, and tres leches cake! All of it was delicious! There salsa is really good, and it was the best Mexican food i’ve tried in Spain for sure!

I’ve only been here once on my very memorable visit to Spain and Barcelona. The main reason I came here was the fact that it was owned by the Dos Santos family. Its in a fairly quiet place in Barca and since it is new, it seems like a good location to take a date or just to relax with a few friends. Honestly, I had a great experience here. They started us off with this very interest hot shrimp soup apparatus, that had us wanting more. It is supposed to be a «true» appetizer. I ordered the chilaquiles and they were amazing. Truly a mixture of aesthetic and tasting pleasure. Overall, I would say that it is a bit pricy, but it was overall good experience and I would not take away a 5 star rating. If I head back to Barcelona, then I will most probably visit here for some chilaquiles and the mystery shrimp soup, which I would probably consider a secret menu item.

Honestly, I only wanted to try this place because I’m a fan of the owners but I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I tried the chilaquiles, the cochinita pibil, and the ceviche borracho. All three were delicious but I must say the chilaquiles were the best. The presentation of all of the dished were superb and the taste was great. The décor inside is all about Giovani Dos Santos but it is beautifully executed. If I ever find myself in Barcelona again and crave some Mexican Food, I will go back to Cantina 10 for some chilaquiles and horchata.
