Celler de Tapas

This place was so good that we went back twice, which is so ironic because we only went the first time because La Flauta was closed. It’s right off the Universitat metro, so very easy to ge to. We ordered the cava sangria here for the first time and it was excellent. We also had.
Hamburger with foie gras ⁵⁄₅: Best hamburger ever, even without the hunk of foie on top. So soft and juicy and with a lovely perfect, buttered bun.
Mushroom risotto with foie gras ⁵⁄₅: This dish was really the reason we came back. The risotto itself is heavenly, but with the foie gras it was just a transcendent experience.
Patatas with chorizo: ⁴⁄₅ just patatas bravas with ground up chorizo and a sunny side up egg. Mix it all together for delicious flavors.
Patatas bravas: ⁴⁄₅ crisp and delicious with a great sauce
Calamari ⁵⁄₅: excellent batter and crispy
Grilled squid ³⁄₅: a little chewy and needed more flavor other than salt
Fried Shrimp: ⁵⁄₅ These were little shrimp wrapped in wonton wrappers and deep friend.
So glad we happened upon this place!

Ich fand das Restaurant super. Die Tapas sind lecker und es hat eine riesige Auswahl. Die Preise sind meiner Meinung nach ganz ok. Das Personal ist nicht immer super sympathisch, aber eben. Wir waren 2x da und haben uns durchprobiert.
Sehr empfehlenswert: die Paella und die Rotweinsangria (€ 16.50). Das Tapasmenü ab 2 Personen scheint etwas teuer (€ 19.90) aber wir hatten anschliessend definitiv genug (4 Portionen für 5 Personen).

Decent little place. It was close to the university.

Love this place, first time being there. Great food, great tapas and great wine. The service could’ve been better. We were sitting outside and it was hard to get clue waitress’s attention. Overall it was good

The Tapas were very good. The deserts were excellent and partially kind of rare/​unique dishes. The prices were appropriate.

Restaurant à Tapas un peu plus haut de gamme que le chiringito locale. Il se trouve en face de l’université donc la clientèle est assez jeune ou touristique.
C’est bien présenté et assez bon. Les prix sont un peu plus élevé qu’ailleurs et on s’en sort pour ²⁰⁄₂₅ € par personne.
On a testé les croquetas de jambon, celles de morue (bacalao) ainsi qu’une sorte de cigare croustillant à la crevette. Le tout était delicieux. Croquant, bien doré à l’extérieur et tendre à l’intérieur. Le tout accompagné de patatas bravas, sauce épicée et aïoli et une salade verte aux noix.
L’accueil était un peu blasé mais dans l’ensemble, c’était un très bon repas !

Restaurante de muy mala calidad. Puede que funcioné para turistas con ganas de probar tapas pero desde luego no para locales con un poco de experiencia con el tema. Servicio muy normal. No lo recomiendo.

I popped in here for a late afternoon bite after doing some banking next door. It was not crowded at all yet we still decided to sit inside. The décor is wonderful, clean, modern, and flows throughout the dining room. The waitstaff were pleasant, helpful, and courteous.
The offering was unique while holding onto some of the regional classics and delivered in fine execution and attention to detail. These guys really know what they’re doing and a good value for the price. You will most certainly not be blown away but you’ll not be disappointed either.

Gute Auswahl an Tapas, die Kellner sind nicht wirklich freundlich — dafür stimmt aus meiner Sicht die Qualität. Mittlere Preislage um die 5 Euro je Tapas, die Portionen sind jedoch wirklich großzügig! Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

This is a good place for some solid food at good prices if you’re in the area and need to eat. It feels like a generic casual chic restaurant with generic waiters that you can find in a big city in Anytown, Anyplace, except that you’ll get a good taste of the flavors of the city.
We got a tasty dinner here — patatas bravas (meh), croquetas (good), tortilla (very good), sausage (meh), paella (yum!) washed down with some beer and wine. Service not particularly warm, and a little bit spotty, but pretty decent experience overall.

Le hasard nous ayant amené à la Barcelonetta un mercredi soir où nos endroits favoris étaient fermés, c’est avec un peu de dépit que nous nous sommes rabattus sur Celler de Tapas. Nul barcelonais ni espagnol dans la salle, uniquement des touristes. Rien d’enthousiasmant à priori. Mais à la finale, nous n’avons pas été trop déçus par la cuisine, ni par la rapport qualité prix. A noter toutefois une paella de la mer qui aurait pu être excellente si elle n’avait pas été aussi grasse. Avis mitigé donc, mais il semble que Celler des Tapas soit un cran au dessus des pièges à touristes qui bordent le même boulevard.

Qualitativ hochwertige Tapas, allerdings zu recht hohen Preisen und Portionen eher klein. Lohnt sich also eher zun geniessen als zum satt werden. Terrasse ist nicht empfehlenswert, da das Restaurant an einer zentralen Kreuzung liegt (laut!). Obendrein gibt es einen Aufschlag (15%?) Fuer draussen.

We were very disappointed with the food here. Only one of the tapas (the scallops) was really good, the rest being either just OK or not good enough to finish. There are many other tapas places with better food and better value. My guess is that this place relies on its great location, not the food, to attract people.

Visiting Barcelona, I had been warned it could be hard to find decent food, that one might really have to look around at bit. I stumbled upon this place and really enjoyed the food and the staff.
I had the calamari which was wonderfully done, lightly battered and not at all chewy. I like the fact they have dishes outside of traditional tapas my husband particularly enjoyed the chicken skewer with soy glaze and a tasty potato salad. The sangria was also quite nice. Staff were very good. It’s a shame the prior reviewer had such a poor experience. I liked it so much I went here twice during my 4 day stay.

We walked through the Barceloneta area and found Celler de Tapas. The menu of the day for lunch looked good and was extremely reasonable for 9,90 per person. What I liked about this restaurant was the chic and clean décor. In addition, the menu was in English, and the waiters spoke English.
The food was delicious! I loved the Mediterranean flavors throughout all of the dishes. The menu came with appetizers, main entrees, desserts, choice of drink (water, soda, or wine), and bread.
Appetizers:
— Cod coquettes — Delicious fried nuggets. There were also chunks of cod.
— Sardines with roasted peppers — Nice to have some fresh sardines.
— Fried potatoes with spicy sauce — This was complementary and was delicious!
Main Entrees:
— Mixed paella — My hubby and I ordered the same entrée. The flavors were good as it included lots of squid, mussels, chicken, and pork. I gave the chicken and pork to my hubby.
Desserts:
— Fried milk with cinnamon
— Orange sorbet — Very refreshing!
Bathroom was in the back of the restaurant, and it was clean.

Les tapas sont partout à Barcelone et vous trouverez de tout: du médiocre (ramblas) mais aussi du traditionnel dans le vieux Barcelone et ceux revisités comme dans ce restaurant avec divers viandes, fruits de mer… sous la forme de tapas. C’est super sympa pour ceux qui aiment goûter pas mal de choses !

Es war eine Empfehlung der Rezeptionistin unseres Hotels. Alles in allem sehr gut. Wir waren dort um ca. 19:00 Uhr, da wir a) am Anreisetag noch nichts sinnvolles gegessen hatten, und b) nicht die für Spanien üblichen Dinnerzeiten ab 2100 abwarten wollten. Gute Wahl. Die Tapas waren durchweg lecker bis superlecker :-), die Preise mit 5,70 im Schnitt sicher nicht super-​günstig, aber der Qualität angemessen. Ist man hungrig, braucht man aber schon so 4 bis 5 Häppchen.
Unbedingt probieren: die eingelegten Gemüse (Tomate, Aubergine, Artischocke) in extra vergine Öl, bzw. die «3 Texturen von Schokolade mit extra vergin Olivenöl und Maldon Sea Salt». Super. Schwarzer Schokokuchen, Schokoeis, dunkle Schokososse (warm!) mit einem Hauch von Olivenöl und ein paar Körnchen Maldon Salz. Eine fantastische Kombination.
Aufpassen sollte man nur, nicht den Tisch an der Treppe zu den Toiletten zugewiesen zu bekommen, obwohl das Lokal praktisch leer ist, es sei denn, man mag den Geruch von Sagrotan als Essensbegleiter

Beautiful food, bit tapa portions are a bit small. Spirits a bit pricey, but wine good value. Menus in English :)

Je confirme l’avis de NABOTE, les tapas y sont en effet excellents, et préparés à la demande, cadre new look, terrasse sur le trottoir (mais attention dans ce cas vous serez proche de la circulation automibile fort dense à cet endroit centre ville). Je vous recommande tout particulièrement les Sardinas, tapas aux filets de sardines fraiches, et saint jacques aux asperges, comptez 5,40 euros en moyenne par tapas et 3,64 euros pour un déssert.

Voici un bon restaurant à Tapas à Barcelone. Comme le look design le laisse deviner, les prix sont un peu plus élevés que chez le tout-​venant des bars à tapas, mais qualité est saveurs sont au rendez-​vous.
Exit le cliché des plats baignant dans l’huile et des omelettes à toutes les sauces. Ici, la cuisine est fine et soignée, préparée en direct dans la cuisine ouverte; la caret des vins est aussi à la hauteur.
Nos sensations préférées: «Saint-​Jacques et asperges rôties, jambon ibérique et oeufs de truite» et «Trois textures de chocolat, huile d’olive et fleur de sel».
