The only reason I don’t give 5 is because I did not understand the concept of the«sensografia». Besides that the food was great and the service amazing. Will go back for sure, hopefully we can meet the Torres Twins

This is a 4.5 star review. The food and dining experience was 5 stars, but there was an oddity with the final bill that leaves me removing half a star. The restaurant is small, with just a handful of tables, and a very attentive wait staff. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten in a place with the ratio of staff to diners in my life. It’s an open kitchen, so you can watch the entire process of them preparing your food. I love that kind of experience, but I know it’s not for everyone. You enter the dining room through the kitchen, so you can see how amazing the space is. The food is playful, and elegant, and I was impressed with the English the staff mustered up to address me. I was eating alone, and I wanted the tasting menu, so it happened faster than your average meal. I never felt like I was rushed, nor did I feel like I was ever waiting for food. They started off the meal with a «tomato» on dirt. It had a tartare inside, and was heavenly. The flavors were bright, and the presentation playful. The second bite was a tapioca bread with a bright mousse inside. Once they provide the menu, and let you know about your options(how can you not go with the tasting menu after a couple of fun bites like that?!) the somellier comes by and asks about wine. I told them that I only could handle one glass, so I asked for recommendations. They said with the tasting menu to go with white, and then chose a glass for me, based upon my preferences on dryness of said wine, and the menu. It actually went surprisingly well with the dishes. Each dish was creatively plated, beautiful to see, and bursting with flavor. The dishes came out in a variety of different temperatures, and each was very focused, balanced, and good. The shrimp dish was probably the most impressive expression of shrimp I’ve ever had. Warmed through, but not fully cooked to change the texture, it was profoundly flavorful, and the sauce made with shrimp heads had amazing depth and pure flavor of shrimp. The Gin and Tonic dessert was a true tribute to Barcelona, but also included flavors of cardamom and yuzu, which somehow balanced despite having so many diverse flavors. It was kind of amazing. It was an amazing meal, leaving me comfortable at the end, and not wanting more food, though not stuffed and in pain from over indulging. It was pricey but justified(though not the mistaken bill, which as of later the same day, we’re still working to resolve) in it’s cost. The actual Dos Hermanos who are the executive chefs were on site and in the kitchen, at 3pm on a Friday, which was awesome.

I felt very unwelcome here and it took forever to get service. The food was served cold and although presentation was nice, it had no taste. It might have been an off night, but I think the place is way overrated and should be avoided.

Sin duda la estrella Michelin se la tienen muy bien ganada. Cocina innovadora y realmente excelente con productos traídos de Brasil en la propia maleta de los hermanos chefs. El arroz, dentro del menú degustación, ha sido uno de los sabores mas maravillosos que he probado. Extensa y sorprendente carta de vinos, nos dejamos recomendar y funcionó. Vistas alucinantes a Barcelona. Precio por persona 100 €. Para ocasiones muy especiales. Sin duda volveremos.

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The plates were creative and flavorful, presentation was beautiful. I liked how the chefs were cooking away in the background, just a really complete experience. Had a wonderful time and it has a great view of the city.

Reservations ahead of time is recommended. I have stayed at Hotel ME several times before and was unable to get a table until my last visit. The food is amazing, unique, and I suggest going with the chef’s recommended tasting menu because you get to experience so much of their various fares. I believe we had about 12 different dishes including the pre-dessert before the dessert. Each dish is presented very artfully in unique bowls and plates, and the service is top notch. Which can be a challenge finding good, prompt service in most of the places I’ve eaten at throughout Europe. Aside from the amazing food, and just when you think your palate has had enough of unique and enjoyable flavors, they deliver a leather box similar to a jewelry box. When you open it, it holds a piece of artfully designed and incredibly tasting chocolate. Definitely a must go to if you are looking for a special fine, intimate, dining experience in Barcelona.

Este es probablemente el mejor restaurante en el que he estado y he de decir que la comida fue extraordinaria y el trato perfecto. El local es muy interesante, está en un piso alto del Hotel Me, con lo que hay unas vistas de Barcelona estupendas(no apto para gente con vértigo). El menú degustación fue«sorpresa» ya que el chef no nos quiso revelar el contenido del mismo pero resultó ser increíble. Todo exquisitamente cocinado, presentado y servido. En resumen fue una experiencia extraordinaria. Especialmente recomendados, los aperitivos, que eran finísimos, y la tabla de quesos, que jamás he visto cosa igual en variedad y calidad(y el «camarero de los quesos» era todo un experto). Lo recomendaría sin pestañear a cualquiera que pueda permitírselo(por menos de 100 € por persona no comes) o que tenga la suerte de que le inviten.
