Tried the horchata, but was surprised it was totally different from the Mexican style horchata. It was made of almond milk, and tasted sweet and kinda powdery.
There were many locals eating gelato and horchata. Perhaps it was just not to my liking… The gelato looked like it had ample food coloring, so I didn’t want to tried it.
We paid in cash, not sure if they accept credit cards or not.

There was a hair in my ice cream, and the owner tried to tell me it wasn’t a hair. «It’s just plastic from the container.» I’m not sure how that was supposed to make it acceptable, but I said (and the woman next to me agreed) I didn’t believe that it was plastic. Begrudgingly, the owner tells the guy scooping the ice cream to give me a new cone but with only one flavor instead of two «because I already ate one.» Let’s just say I will never support that business again.

Cuando descubráis este sitio ya os podéis ir despidiendo de vuestras abdominales y saludaréis cariñosos a vuestra nueva y pendulante papada. Vuestros pectorales serán sustituidos por peludas y caídas tetas de perra vieja y vuestros dientes se irán pudriendo, pero creedeme: lo disfrutaréis.
De toda la vida esta tienda ha sido un referente en el barrio para los que nos gusta darnos un dulce homenaje. Heladería, turronería y horchatería, todo es artesanal y delicioso. También tienen pastelería y bollería, todo lo que necesitas para olvidarte de la operación bikini.
Pocas veces tesentirás tan bien comiendo azúcares refinados. Dulce veneno…
