Very good place overall. Nice and friendly service. Good dishes not oily(very rare for the city…). The wild mushroom with quail egg as starter are amazing. The iberico pork(served almost raw but incredibly delicious… never ate pork like that!) as main dish is too. Duck(more classical) very good as well. And cocktail bar upstairs also nice — with a knowledgeable — and English speaking — barmaid :)

Ah, we wanted to like this place. The starters were fine, but when my main dish came out, I was quite disappointed. I ordered the cod with a mushroom purée, and it was the chewiest piece of fish I’ve ever eaten. Do you know that scene in the first Matrix when Neo meets Agent Smith for the first time and his mouth closes all sticky and weird like? That’s a bit how I felt when chewing the fish. I actually had it sent back to the kitchen, which is the first time I’ve ever done that. The wait staff were somewhat apologetic. They sort of apologized and then asked me if I’d like something else, which I politely declined. We didn’t end up being charged for it, which there was no way I would pay for that piece of school paste. Needless to say, but I’m saying it anyway, we won’t be visiting this establishment again.

Tenía muchas ganas de probar este lugar. Las fotos en los IG’s, los platos, el lugar… pero la verdad es que me he llevado una pequeña decepción. La comida de sabor rica, especialmente las albóndigas de buey con sepia(exquisitas), lo malo es cuando sales de allí pagando 43 € por persona y has comido 3 platos para compartir, pan con tomate y un vino(ni de los más caros ni de los más baratos). Ah! sin postre. Mi percepción: me sentí como si estuviera en un restaurante enfocado a guiris(guays), que buscan un sitio cool, con presentaciones chulas de los platos pero que no les importa pagar 14 € por un trocito de pulpo. Si conoces sobre restaurantes, y para los que somos de aquí, ir a un lugar así no tiene lógica dada la oferta que hoy en día ofrece la ciudad. Muy a mi pesar(y repito, me moría de ganas de ir) no volveré… aunque esas albóndigas son de muerte!!!
