Found this place from a recommendation from our hotel. I asked for a non-​touristy, traditional place that locals would frequent. It was exactly that. The service was impeccable and the food terrific. Everything was delicious, highly recommended!

We cane here at recommendation of our hotel.
First, everyone sits in the «basement» so you won’t see anyone sitting from the outside.
Second, their salad is excellent. Best we had in the city. Next was paella which was very good. I asked for some Spanish wine and what they provided was very good.
They gave two free servings of a liqueur which was nice! Would go there again.

We had an excellent meal here. The staff was incredibly welcoming and nice (the chef even came over to our table to be sure we enjoyed the meal he prepared for us). The atmosphere was also very romantic. We tried the swordfish carpaccio and the chef’s special paella. We will most definitely be back! *tip: it’s a great place to go have a meal before seeing a show at Palau de la Musica.

Perfect place for special occasions! Nice and elegant setting and fresh seafood cooked in a simple way so you can taste it at its best! The service and cava were great too! Me and my friends enjoyed it very much for our Barcelona reunion!

A local friend recommended this place to me and it was a great success! My parents and I feasted on one of the best meals we had in Barcelona and the service was impeccable. Order the arroz caldoso con bogavante (paella with a whole lobster)! Fantastic!!!

One of the first places I ate when in Barcelona. Lovely and quaint indoors. Servers were kind. It’s not quite located in an area with the greatest amount of foot traffic so it wasn’t crowded. we had the lobster paella which was great. Generous portions of seafood.

Nice little display of seafood on ice on the ground floor, with a bit of modern flair.
Descending to the seating area in the basement shows more stone and brick, but still an extremely modern feel. Service was good– a tad short of excellent.
Grilled eggplant and anchovy was okay (a bit of a ripoff), mussels were a bit overwhelmed by the tomato (still quite good), and unfortunately I am not a fan of paella so someone else will have to pass judgement– however within my limitations, I found the noodle paella excellent and the regular seafood paella to be almost as good. Mussels and crawfish on beautiful display in the latter.
Heck they even fabricated a to-​go container for us for the last bit of regular paella to take back and eat later!
