La Paradeta Born

La Paradeta es un lugar muy particular, de esos que, curiosamente, no abundan por el sur.
Entras en el local y te encuentras con un recital de pescado y marisco fresco tal y como estarían en una pescadería, con la diferencia de que al elegir el que más te apetezca… ¡te lo cocinan en el momento! Así es, escoge el pescado o marisco que más te entre por el ojo, y pide que te lo cocinen como tú prefieras, pasa por caja, escoge bebida y algún acompañamiento si quieres, paga, y siéntate tranquilamente en tu mesa. En muy poco tiempo escucharás como te llaman por el número que te adjudicaron y… ¡A ZAMPAR!
El precio es elevado, pero ajustado a la calidad del producto que te sirven, y la única gran pega del lugar, y por la que tengo que darle cuatro estrellas en vez de cinco, es el gran tumulto de gente que se forma en el local (entiendo que por espacio, porque parar no paran ni un momento) y que llega a estresar un poco.
Sea como sea, La Paradeta es un lugar de visita obligada si quieres degustar un pescado o marisco fresco y de calidad, y encima, elegido por ti mismo. 100% recomendado.

Do you like sea food? Then you HAVE to go to La Paradeta, ok ok you NEED to go! Seafood is fresh and cooked to order, not only that you also get to select your own seafood! It is a culinary experience! Grilled octopus is delicious, grilled tuna awesomely tasty, grilled shrimp was very good, everything we ordered was so good. We went there for dinner twice on our trip. Make sure that you get there 20 minutes before they open there will be a line, but it is so worth it, once they open the line goes fast and the food comes out fast and deliciously prepared! LOVE this place!
Este restaurant es delicioso, toda una experiencia culinaria! Todo lo que pides les queda delicioso, no olvides de llegar 20 minutos antes de abran porq va a haber línea para entrar y ordenar. Me encanta este lugar!

Good selection of fresh seafood from the local area. We had monk fish, baby sardines (tiny white bodies with black eyes), baby octopus, mini conch, razor clams and monkfish soup. A lot of fried (lite compared to US standards) and some sautéed. Good amount of food for about 25 Euros per person. Well priced when compared to other places we’ve been.
It’s a fish market type setup where you select your choices, they weight it, and it’s prepared. Staff is friendly and speak working English.
Opens at 8 and the place was packed by 9 (all tables filled).
Good place to whet your seafood appetite for a decent price. As the locals say, this price is «bajo» but it is seafood after all so it will never be a Euro.

Fresh seafood, big portions, not expensive. Took fried calamari (andalou style), gambas, and marinated mussels. The preparation of mussels was very good, I loved it! With the wine, it went to about 35 € for 2 people. The atmosphere is simple and relax: you go grab your food yourself. The place is quite noisy though. But I keep an excellant memory of this diner!

Very fresh seafood. Not expensive, way beyond its price. We keep on ordering more and more. The fried food are not oily, very crispy. Love it! One of our unforgettable dining experience in Barcelona you can stop by to eat after visiting Sagrada le Familia

Fresh and flavorful. Best seafood I’ve ever had. Be ready to wait in line for about 20 to 30 minutes, but trust me, it’s worth the wait. Keep your receipt and listen for your number to get your food.

Incredibly fresh seafood in a laid back environment. They let you pick the seafood on ice right when you walk in the door. The lines are crazy long so be prepared to wait but it is well worth it. Lobsters, calamari, razor clams and shrimp were among our choices. They only prepare the seafood three ways — scampi with lots of garlic, marinara and lightly battered and fried. They have mastered the art of cooking super fresh seafood perfectly. Everything was outstanding. We came back another night before flying out and happily waited over an hour before eating. We will always be back when we visit this wonderful city!

A market-​style seafood restaurant. What a fantastic concept! You enter the restaurant, order your food from the raw spread in front of you, walk around the bar to order drinks and pay, then take a seat and wait for your number to be called (and it will be called several times as your food is prepared).
The success of this restaurant is made obvious from its line. The restaurant opened at 8, we got there at 8:03, and there was already a line about 30 people deep. The total amount of time spent at the restaurant (from the start of our wait to the completion of our meal) was 1 hr 40 min.
THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT. The experience is one of a kind. We ordered cockles at the suggestion of the fishmonger and it was the BEST part of the meal. It was also my first time ever having razor clams, and I would easily order them again. If I ever return, I will definitely stick to the fishmonger’s suggestions. The least favorite parts of my meal were the items I picked on my own. :P
Finally, the price is extremely fair. For just under 50 €, my husband and I had razor clams, cockles, tuna, calamari, salad, bread, bread sauce, and a small bottle of wine.

Dieses Restaurant gehört meiner Meinung nach zu den Besten, die ich in Barcelona besucht habe, jedoch man sollte hingehen, nur wenn man Meeresfrüchte und Fisch mag :) Trotz den ewige Warteschlange auf der Straße lohnt es sich.
Frischeres Essen als bei La Paradeta geht’s nicht — man wählt sich bei dem Eingang frichen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte von so einer Art Theke aus, alles wird gewogen und ohne dass man weiss, wie viel man zahlen muss, geht man weiter, um Getränke zu bestellen. Bestellt lieber mehr als zu wenig, sonst musst man wieder auf der Straße anstellen und die Reihe wieder warten.
Und dann geht’s los! Ab jetzt hat man bisschen das Gefühl, man sitzt in McDonalds, denn das Essen wird zubereitet und nach Nummern gerufen um es selber zu holen zu können.
Im Prinzip kann man keine schlechte Wahl treffen, denn alles schmeckt wunderbar! Das Fischsteak habe ich nicht probiert, jedoch der Tintenfish und die Krabbe waren beide sagenhaft. Man kann sich dann zwischen gegrillten oder frittierten aussuchen. An den Brot und Salat kann man verzichten und lieber sich den Platz im Bauch für den Fisch schonen :)
Im Algemeinen ist es ganz sicherlich zu empfehlen, ich werde ganz sicher dieses Ereignis wiederholen!

Perfect place to eat fresh seafood. Each time that I go to Barcelona I try to go here.
Good value for money, around 20 € pp, but with a large amount of food, and I find that it’s a fear prize for seafood.
Also a nice service.
The only thing is that they don’t accept reservations, so it’s very possible that you have to queue (but it’s quick). The only problem is waiting a summer day under the sun.

No hay paseo por el born que no acabe en La Paradeta… En general, todo está riquisimo, con un servicio rápido y de calidad.

Man muss sich hier sehr früh einfinden. Denn was aus ist, ist aus.
Ein paar Spanisch Kenntnisse wären von Vorteil, da die Mitarbeiter kaum eine andere Sprache beherrschen. Sie bemühen sich aber einem zu helfen. Da es an der Theke sehr trubelig zugeht, kann es zuweilen sehr anstrengend sein. Hat man aber die Bestellung erledigt, holt man sich an der Getränketheke was zu trinken (Wein nur flaschenweise), setzt sich an den Tisch und wartet bis seine Nummer aufgerufen wird.
Die Meeresfrüchte und der Fisch sind marktfrisch und werden ohne großen Schnickschnack zubereitet. Das heißt, dass sie entweder gegrillt oder einfach gekocht serviert werden. Beim Petersilienpesto/​-​öl würde ich aufpassen, dass es nicht über das Gericht geträufelt werden, da es sehr intensiv schmeckt.
Dieses Restaurant ist in der Tat ein Erlebnis und gehört meiner Meinung nach zum B-​Besuch dazu. Der Preis ist nicht ganz niedrig, aber frischer kann man kaum mehr essen.
Hinweis: Hier muss alles beim ersten Mal bestellt werden. Ist man nicht satt, muss man sich draußen wieder anstellen um Nachschlag zu erhalten.

A one of a kind experience I’ll never forget. Randomly found this place because I saw a huge line in front of the place before it even opened. Everything is fresh and caught that same morning and made to order, hence the limited opening hours. The razor clams, oysters, and calamari were exceptional. The grilled rape fish was one of the best fish I’ve ever tried. The flavor and texture are almost inexplicable, buttery and intoxicating.

Visita obligada cada vez que estoy por Barcelona. Lo peculiar de este bar/​restaurante es que tienes que pedir justo al entrar, después te asignan una mesa y esperas a que te lo cocinen. Pescado de buena calidad, y suele haber mucha gente, así que hay que armarse de paciencia algunas veces.
Así que si estáis por la zona, no dudéis en pasar, una buena experiencia con buenos sabores.

This place came recommended by our host. Since we love seafood, and this is Barcelona, seems to be a no-​brainer to try. We came at around 930PM on Thursday nigiht, and the place was full, but not too bad, perhaps 10 minutes wait before we can place our order. It didn’t feel like long, since were still trying to decide what to get.
We mostly just point at things, and they know enough English to communicate (and recommend) quantities and style of cooking.
Pulpitos/​baby octupus, grilled with green sauce (next time try it fried)

Gambas (large shrimp)
Calamaries fried
Mussels, steamed
I love every single one of the above, they are all so good! We added the garlic sauce, but I think marinara sauce might be better next time. We also ordered (and finished) a bottle of dry white wine. Honestly thought we were ordering 2 glasses, but then she popped open a whole bottle and slide it toward us lol, so we went ahead and finished the bottle. For 8 euro it was actually pretty good.
Overall it cost us about 50E, and we were stuffed!

No está mal este sitio pero tampoco es tan barato como parece a primera vista. O más bien, no es la calidad que me esperaba (o a lo mejor tuvimos mala suerte). Pedimos varias cosas y todas estaban más o menos ok pero en las almejas había arena y los mejillones estaban un poco «muertos por muerte natural». Al final salió unos 20 euros por cabeza con vino barato, ok para comer marisco pero prefiero pagar un poco más y disfrutar de calidad.

Imaginad de pasear una tarde noche cerca del puerto, en la lejania unas barquitas durmientes en la orilla, la puesta del sol adelante de ti. Imaginad de poder comer directamente desde los pescadores allì mismo, eligiendo, hablando con la gente que directamente se confonde con el mar, la gente del mar. Conjugad todo, vuelta la esquina, descubres el born y esto es todo lo que te espera entrando en la Paradeta. Geniunidad, qualidad y a un precio que da honor a las dos cosas. Recomedadisimo!

You come in, you pick your seafood, you tell them how to prepare, and viola! Take your number, find a table and wait for all the magical sea creatures to be delivered to your table. What’s not to love? Ahmazing! Tasty! Delicious! Aye!
Razor clams~ I got 5 packets! Each has 5 I believe. I got them grilled! Plancha! With green sauce. Delicious beyond words.
Seas snails~ simple, fast, boiled! Tasty.
Baby calms/​baby pctopus~ we orders a pound of this. It gets smaller with the grilling but still amazing!
Giant grilled prawns — all charred? Ahmazing! I can’t get enough even after several visits. Still can’t. its simply amazing.
We also had a bottle or two of their wine. One red and one white per recommendation of our cook. No complaints there. If you like seafood, if you want to avoid tourist traps and taste the best ingredients? Look no further. You have found the perfect place. If you do require white linen napkins and the suave ambiance over food? Well, just walk away. This place already have huge lines out the door. You’ll be doing everyone else a favor. Me? I’m very happy here! They ruined my taste buds because now I can’t eat anything less tasty. But I’m very happy I found that seafood nirvana!

Best seafood in Spain! If you’re looking for authentic light seafood and delicious wine, this is your spot. They have a few locations. Seafood by the lb, choose your sauce and devour it!

You must go here if you’re a seafood lover. I’m convinced there is no place in the world as special and awesome as La Paradeta.
I really wasn’t sure what to expect here. We came at 11p on a Wednesday and there was no line. I sort of wish there was because then i could watch standard ordering procedures and mimic :)
My Spanish is mas o menos and my Catalan is even worse so there were some communication issues. The guy behind the counter asked if we were eating for here or for to go. I told him for here and I thought he was going to seat us. Instead, he walked us over to the fish counter where they had at least 15 different types of seafood (mussels, clams, razor clams, oysters, crab, and more). I was so confused. I thought he misunderstood me and was going to sell me fresh seafood to take home and cook myself. Once we sorted our the confusion, I realized that you select the seafood at the counter, they weigh it, ask you how you want it prepared, and cook it for you.
In the end, we got around 4 – 5 lbs of seafood and 2 beers for ~35 euros. Everything was fresh and sooo good.
This would definitely be a contender for one of my most favorite meals ever.

This place is an experience! Fish market in front, full-​fledged restaurant operation just behind. You first form a line leading to the counter, where you then buy seafood *by weight*, specify how you would like it cooked, then pay and sit at a table while your food is prepared.
For four people, we ate for around 60 USD, which included:
— Two larges plates of calamari
— Grilled octopus
— Alaskan Crab
— Steamed clams
— A large serving of prawns
and a few other basic types of fish.
The food was fresher than any restaurant I’ve been to (I mean, you choose your own and they cook it for you, how much better does life get?) and full of flavour.

If you love seafood, you’ll simply want to live in this place. SERIOUSLY. I can surely tell you that I did! I came here with a group of friends after hearing some pretty good recommendations. When we arrived, on a Sunday afternoon, there was a huge line outside of the restaurant and my first thought was «is this really gonna be worth the wait?». As soon as I walked in and saw all of those marvelous fresh seafood itens on display I understood that it would definitely be worth the 45 minutes we waited in line to get in.
Imagine that you are shopping at a fish market: there are tons of beautiful, tasty, raw species right in front of you and all you need to do is order whatever appeals to your heart: «I will have some of this shrimp, a little bit of that octopus, a large piece of tuna, some calamari, etc. etc.». Literally, you can pick almost any seafood you’ve ever wanted to try cause everything looks beautiful and fresh. The staff will then weigh all of the different things you ordered and send it to the kitchen where it will be prepared to arrive at your table a few minutes later, properly and amazingly cooked.
Do not forget to order some of their sauces, especially the alioli, which is simply superb! Also, make sure you come here with a group, as you’ll want a bit of everything and it will certainly be too much food for one. To sum it up: this is the place to have an unforgettable seafood feast with your loved ones. The best part? I was here twice and spent less than 15 euros (beer included) both times. The worst part? They don’t take cards, so make sure you hit the ATM first (also, I was a bit sad when I noticed the lobsters were still moving, poor things, but hey, that’s how they have to be cooked, right?)
That being said, this was definitely one of my favorite spots in Barcelona and I highly recommend that you try it out if you’re a seafood lover.

The best seafood restaurant I’ve been to in a long time!
Be prepared to wait, for a long time. No resies and long lines any time of day.
All the catch is laid out in the front. Walk in and order by weight, tell them how you want it cooked (some items you get a couple of options). They will rush you a little given there’s 20 hungry people standing behind you, and maybe not speak the best English but trust me the food is well worth it!
Alcohol is by bottle only. Some of the bottle are pretty small so no problem there. We got cava or what I’m told the local drink of choice — can’t go wrong there.
Pay then wait with your number. They will call you up to a little window when each item is done and cross it off your receipt.
You get a choice of sauces (not complimentary!). Garlic sauce is the best.
In order of yumminess:
Razor clams omfg! So incredibly delicious we had to get seconds (I only regret not getting thirds). Fresh and clean tasting (I’ve had them in other countries where they tasted like chemicals :().
Shrimp with claws! Cross between lobster and shrimp. So tasty!
Shrimp — there’s two diff kinds — we got the uncooked — larger and more pricey but deliciously grilled.
Cockles — really fresh and juicy.
Lobster — not sure if actually local to the Mediterranean region or airlifted from N Am? Overpriced and same as everywhere else. Skip.
Whitebait — they fry it and it almost tastes like egg whites. I guess a cheaper filler food if you’re still hungry after other dishes. Skip.
Saw lots of locals getting mussels. May be good to try.
Oh and they have a coloring sheet to keep kids tame while the adults are pigging out. So considerate!
Pure seafood heaven — will hit up next time I am in Barcelona for sure!

We were searching for a place to eat for dinner and happen to find this restaurant via Unilocal.I really wanted some razor clams due to my first trip to Barcelona when I experience the best razor clams ever. Since this was my 2^nd time to Barcelona, I wanted to make sure I got my fill of razor clams again! :)
when my husband and I arrived, there was already a line of at least 20 people. We arrived right at 8 PM when they opened. My husband and I waited in line for about 30 minutes & finally got to the front where we subsequently ordered a selection of fresh seafood.
Everything seemed reasonably priced and we ordered:
1) Half dozen oysters
2) Full kilo of clams — grilled!
3) 5 packets of razor clams — marinera!
4) 10 shrimps — grilled!
5) One third kg of baby octopus — grilled!
6) 3 bread, coke, 2 sauce containers, beer
Our favorite was definitely the razor clams, grilled to perfection! If we were to come again, we would only order razor clams and make it 10 packets! Haha
Everything cost € at this restaurant including the bread and sauces! It can add up. We spent 79 € here for just 2 of us.
We’d Love to come back again next time we are in Barcelona!

Buenísima calidad a precio razonable y asequible. Además de lo novedoso de este tipo de local, el trato y la calidad de los productos son tan buenos que si vas una vez volverás mil.
Eso sí, las noticias vuelan y como muestra de la popularidad de este sitio diré que las colas para entrar son larguísimas, yo recomiendo ir o muy pronto o en los últimos turnos ;)

Attention, ils né prennent pas de réservation et prévoyez une petite laine car il fait frais à l’intérieur !
Il y a un grand choix de produits et plusieurs types de cuisson. Vous faites la queue devant un comptoir de poissonnier où vous choisissez ce que vous voulez manger, on vous demande le type de cuisson souhaité (frit, sauté, bouilli, etc…), vous réglez en caisse, vous prenez une table et votre N° de ticket est appelé chaque fois que votre plat est prêt !

¡Genial este lugar! Hacía años que me habían comentado este lugar y nunca había ido. Por fin fui y no me defraudó. Como en todas las reviews se comenta, tienes una parte de «paradeta» como si fuera el mercado en el que escoges el pescado a peso que prefieras. A la vez te van preguntando como lo que quieres cocinado.
Una vez tienes el pescado elegido, lo llevan a cocina y tú pasas por caja. Ahí escoges la bebida, pan y pagas. Te adjudican un número que será con el que te irán llamando para que recojas tus platos de pescado cocinado.
El pescado es muy muy fresco y la cocina es muy rápida. En poco tiempo te ves rodeado/​a de platos en la mesa. Los precios son muy asequibles para todo lo que llegas a comer y de la calidad que es.
No obstante, no le pongo 5 estrellas porque me estresé un poco. Al principio debes pedir con mucha rapidez, no tienen mucha paciencia y si no te manejas bien con las cantidades, la verdad es que puedes tardar más de lo que su paciencia aguanta. Suerte que uno de mis amigos si tenía idea que si no… Y luego a la hora de servir los platos, llegan casi todos a la vez, con lo que si hay mucha cantidad, se acaban enfriando muchas de las cosas.
No obstante, en general, me gustó mucho por la calidad del pescado y lo rico que estaba.
Recomiendo ir unos minutos antes de que abran, pues si no las colas pueden ser largas.

Antes era un gran fanático de esta cadena de marisquerías, pero luego de un par de no tan buenas experiencias me he desencantado, las últimas veces que he ido la comida no ha estado tan fresca como solía estarlo, lo que era su principal encanto, la frescura de sus productos, y si adicionalmente a esto le sumamos el precio, actualmente ronda unos 20 € por persona (anteriormente gastaba entre 10 € y 15 €), en un lugar donde tú tienes que ir a buscarte la comida y luego tú tienes que recoger los platos y llevarlos nuevamente, lo veo caro. En una ciudad como Barcelona es posible encontrar una mejor comida con mejor servicio y menor precio.

Unter dem Meer! Unter dem Meer! leider gibt’s hier keinen Krabbenburger dafür aber frischen Fisch und Seafood und zwar eine ganze Theke voll! Alles wird abgewogen und kommt dann auf den Grill! Vorsicht man bestellt sich gerne zuviel. Die lavabos lassen ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig deshalb nur 4 Sterne!

Éste concepto de negocio de restauración convence. El sistema es el siguiente: La primera parte es una parada de mercado de pescado fresco, eliges, se lo llevan a cocina y pasas a la segunda fase.
La segunda fase es una batería de mesas de madera, casi en plan merendero, grandes y robustas donde esperas que te lleven la comida que elegiste. A partir de ahí empieza la sobremesa, muy frugal y muy familiar.
La única pega es que normalmente hay cola los fines de semana para entrar, aunque el interior es bastante espacioso.
Lo malo: suele haber cola para entrar (al menos el finde), el interior es bastante rústico.

Castellano: Me gustó mucho este lugar. Si usted es un amante del marisco, éste es el lugar para ti. Cuando finalmente llega a la pantalla de mariscos frescos, ya que habrá una cola, dígale a la persona lo que quiere, cuanto quiere y cómo quiere que se cocinan. Te dan un número y pedir sus bebidas y los lados lo que quieras (pan, salsas, etc.) Entonces escuche su número y recoger su comida cuando llaman. Es bastante simple, recto hacia adelante y barato teniendo en cuenta lo mucho que se obtiene.
English: I really enjoyed this place. If you are a seafood lover, this is the place for you. When you finally get to the display of fresh seafood, because there will be a line, you tell the person what you want, how much you want and how you want it cooked. La Paradeta es un nuevo concepto de restaurante para Barcelona: un self service de marisco y pescado fresco. En la entrada te encuentras un pequeño mostrador en plan pescadería y vas escogiendo todo lo que quieres que te preparen. Te dan un número y una vez está listo has de ir a buscar tu pedido a la barra. Por cierto, tienes cubiertos y mantelitos para que te montes tú mismo la mesa y no hay camareros para servirte por la sala (sólo en la barra). Tampoco encuentras ningún tipo de lujo en su decoración, por lo que si sumas todas estas condiciones no es de extrañar que sea uno de los restaurantes de pescado y marisco más económicos en Barcelona. La Paradeta ha sido un verdadero éxito por lo que están abriendo nuevos establecimientos por la ciudad y alrededores, como en Sitges. Te recomiendo no ir en horas punta de comidas y cenas sobretodo en findes semana porque puedes encontrar larguísimas colas.

Wie gut, wenn man einen Eingeborenen an seiner Seite hat, der einen dann zu solchen Locations führt. La Paradeta war ein Knaller. Wir sind zu dritt an einem Mittwoch dort eingekehrt und haben einmal die prall gefüllte Theke rauf und runter gegessen! Der frische Fisch und die Meeresfrüchte sind gleich in die Pfanne gewandert und waren nach nur 15 – 20 Minuten auf unseren Tellern. Das Ambiente ist einfach, aber sehr gemütlich, das Personal überaus freundlich und serviceorientiert. das hat sich offensichtlich herumgesprochen, sodass man am Wochenende gern mal bis auf die Straße stehen muss, bis ein Tisch frei wird. Fazit: Immer wieder gern, yammi!

Raciones abundantes, calidad muy acorde con los precios populares. Una marisquería para visitar, ya que es mas original que cualquier otra de Barcelona.

Me encanta el concepto de restaurante interactivo. Esto es: restaurantes en los que no solo te limitas a sentar el culo, leer la carta y pedir. Si no que te obligan a participar de alguna manera en tu comida. La Paradeta es el mejor ejemplo que se me ocurre de este tipo de restaurantes.
Ahora está muy de moda lo de las cocinas a la vista y el poder ver cómo se mueven los cocineros entre fogones, y lo de incorporar acciones especiales a la comida, pero mucho antes de esto en este restaurante ya funcionaban con un concepto súper original para escoger lo que te vas a comer: lo haces tú mismo desde… sí, una paradeta de pescado. Como si estuvieras en una pescadería, entras directamente a esa mini lonja en la que el pescado y el marisco lucen frescos entre hielo y perejil, con el cartelito del precio a su lado. Escoges qué quieres y cuánta cantidad. El pescadero te lo pone en papel y de allí va directamente a la cocina, desde donde te lo sirven a la mesa. Cero pose, cero elegancia, La Paradeta es un sitio en el que ponerte hasta las trancas de pescado: frito o a la plancha: pescaíto, chocos, navajas, merluzas, rapes, lenguados… es un auténtico paraíso para los que disfrutamos con los frutos del mar.
El único inconveniente que tiene –y es uno muy gordo — es las tremendas colas que hay que hacer. Siempre que he ido ha sido como media hora antes de que abrieran y ya había que esperar en la calle. Así que conviene tomárselo con paciencia. Pero oye, merece la pierna.

Si te llevaran con los ojos vendados y recién te dejaran ver una vez adentro del local, pensarías que estás en una pescadería, dentro de un mercado. Porque las formas auqí son totalmente fuera de lo normal. No hay camareros, el sistema es que uno entra y se encuentra con un puesto típico como cualquiera de estos del Mercado de la Boquería. Ahí están adormilados los mariscos, cigalas, y demás animalitos acuáticos (los pescados ya están muertos). Uno le indica al vendedor qué producto quiere y cuánto peso del mismo. Luego envían el pedido a la cocina y lo invitan a uno a pasar a la sección de las bebidas. Una vez concluido esto toca esperar sentado.
Entre la cocina y la sala hay una pequeña abertura que los cocineros utilizan para ir dejando los platos que cada cliente debe recoger y servirse, previa comprobación de que coinciden con el número que te entregaron al realizar la compra.
No sólo es un lugar divertido, sino que además resulta llamativamente barato. Dato importante llegar un par de minutos antes de que abran las puertas, porque se llena y luego toca esperar muchísimo.

Ofrece la posibilidad para todos los bolsillos de comer pescado fresco a un precio asequible. El sistema de servicio choca frontalmente, eso sí, con todas las concepciones sobre como debe catarse un manjar celestial. En lugar de unos manteles blancos y una atención pormenorizada, aquí nos encontramos con un self-​service en toda regla. Es una experiencia singular en tanto que uno no está acostumbrado a comer unos chipirones finísimos (entre otras muchas delicias) despachados como si fuesen una cheeseburger, o unas patatas fritas. El entorno no invita a permanecer demasiado tiempo una vez hemos terminado de comer. Es un lugar contrario a la sobremesa, que escupe al comensal hacia el exterior, lo cual le viene de perlas al negocio, que va sumando clientes. Conviene ir con mucha antelación o con mucha paciencia, porque las colas están garantizadas. Tienen locales en varios puntos de la ciudad (Sants, Sagrada Familia, Meridiana).

Ir a La Paradeta es como volver al cole, sin traumas pero con el típico follón de comedor escolar.
Si te has encomendado a la Moreneta o juegan Barça-​Madrid, tendrás la suerte de no hacer cola, o desventura, por qué, quien no ha hecho amigos o flirteado en estos tiempos muertos tan habituales?
Una vez dentro, empieza la fiesta. Ante tus ojos una barra… bueno parada (de ahí el nombre) con todo tipo de pescado y marisco, y bueno ya sabes «quien no corre, vuela «cuanto más temprano llegues más abanico de posibilidades, colores, olores y sabores.
Pero el show no acaba aquí, una vez terminas con las compras, acuérdate del turno y a la mesa.
A medida que van saliendo los platos, los camareros propagan el numero por el micro y el Don/​Doña que haya ingerido menos vino turbio y aun distinga entre el 43 y el 63, pringa .

Ein geniales Restaurant für Fisch und Meeresfrüchte — mit tollem Konzept. Man wählt am Eingang seinen Fisch oder seine Meeresfrüchte, bekommt eine Nummer, holt sich am Tresen Wein und Brot, sucht sich seinen Platz und wartet bis die Nummer aufgerufen wird. Und dann genießt man seine unglaublich frische Ware in lauter turbulenter und fröhlicher Atmosphäre. Immer voll!
