Give this girl a ton of meat, booze, free Wi-Fi, and I’m good to go. Reading other Unilocalers’ reviews, I feel lucky our group survived and even had a decent meal. We didn’t experience any issues with $ 16 drinks or language barriers(our server spoke competent English). Our group of ten found decent seating in this small restaurant and our orders were taken very promptly. We all had either sangria, cerveza, and/or Fanta, which were mighty refreshing after our walk down La Rambla. The Fanta in Spain tastes much different than the Fanta here in the U.S. — a lot less like soda and more like juice. Like! The **Lamb & Chicken** mix plate was hefty and gave me all the meat I could have desired. I was so full I couldn’t even finish the plate. The meat came with bread, lettuce, tomato, and other garnishes so I could make gyros out of my massive meat platter. What a great way to refuel before more walking and watching the FC Barcelona futbol game that night. TIP: Ask for a menu that clearly shows the prices before you order. That might save you a lot of trouble. DATETIP: Show your date how adventurous you are by picking a restaurant that has a «Maverick» badge written all over it. And walk out with a totally stuffed happy camper on your arm. Not bad!

I disagree with the folks below: the food has been fresh and delicious on both occasions we ate here this week. They serve both traditional tapas and Middle Eastern fare and we were thrilled to eat falafel as a break from paella, cheese and pork. The Cava sangria was lovely and refreshing, if a little sweet for my taste, the artichokes and olives tapas perfect, the pita fragrant and hot from the oven — but biggest shoutout is for the clean ladies room! I encourage you to heed this balance to the haters and give Pita House a try.

Came here for a schwarma wrap because we needed food on the go. I got a chicken wrap and the chicken was salty as he’ll. The mixed one was a little better because the lamb didn’t taste as salty but it still tasted like it was high in sodium.

Worst experience in Barcelona. They don’t have prices on their menu so they can charge you four times the price. I got ripped off by not asking the price of everything we ordered. I paid $ 16 dollars for 1 soda. Run!

People come here for one reason… location, location, location. If you want food, go someplace else.

Typical tourist trail street café, we avoided the tourist restaurants as we had a friend from Barcelona who took us to the non-touristy places except for one night when we weren’t with him. We got a table easy enough and each ordered a beer, expecting a normal glass, and we were each given a huge stein like glass at 12 euros a pop. Not good, should of been asked what size we wanted. I ordered a paella which to be fair was okay, although the food took ages to turn up for all 3 of us. Once we had finished and got the bill which we thought was quite expensive it already had a service charge added, so paid and waited for the change, quite a few euros which never came back. I then had to walk up to a waiter and ask where the change was, and thought he was pretty ignorant, or stupid, couldn’t decide which. I’ve only give this 2 stars as my food was okay, but the service was pretty poor. You’re best off avoiding these tourist traps and looking elsewhere.
