Do NOT go here. We didn’t want the hot breakfast (€ 8 including eggs, toast, OJ, coffee) but instead asked for just OJ and fruit. The canned fruit and bottled OJ was sufficient, but the bill we received was for € 25. Perhaps we should have asked prices prior to ordering, but we thought they’d be reasonable — they wouldn’t listen to reason. Horrible place.

I want to say what a rip-​off but the price isn’t that bad relatively speaking. i think. We had walked out of Garri Gotic (Gothic Quarter) into Barceloneta in search for Arroz Caldoso con bogavante and this was one of the first restaurants we encountered that served it for a reasonable price. In fact after we got the bill, the price was beyond reasonable because they only charged us 18.50 euros for the dish (for one person) when it should generally be double or more than that – this is what probably saved it from a one-​star review. We had thought we had to pay double that while eating.
Unfortunately, the food there was no good. The portion for the Soggy Rice with Lobster was tiny — HALF a lobster, minimal rice, and lots of tomato based soup that tasted like green and red peppers. I was so mad eating it because it tasted so awful. The father and two sons next to our table (Torontonian dad who lives in Switzerland with American mom) said the food was awful too, and apparently the kids are generally very generous with their food ratings.
The funniest part was probably the fact that they asked us if we wanted bread (yes they charge for it) and what we wanted on the bread (garlic or tomato?). I said garlic and they literally gave you bread with raw cloves of garlic for FIVE EUROS. The Sangria for 6 euros there was also very awful, with a ton of sugar at the bottom of the glass.
Water was 4 euros
Seriously, don’t bother. This place has a 2.5 star review out of 21 reviews on Trip Advisor at the time I’m writing this (without my input on there too) so just save yourself.
Our total was 35.96 euros after tax. NOT WORTH IT.
