Santoni Cafetería

Dos chocolates (uno vegan), dos cruasanes veganos y una botellita de agua: 7 €. Pues no están tan mal los precios! Me estaba muuucho más siendo centro de Barcelona, osea que asequible (pero no tirado de precio).
El sitio es pequeñito, con pocas mesas, pero acogedor.
Tiene muchas opciones veganas, y también en bollería (cual se agradece).
El personal y el trato perfecto.
Repetiré sin duda.

Este pequeñito local justo fuera de la parada de metro de universitat (ronda de sant antoni) siempre me llamaba la atención de camino al trabajo, no sé si son los colores, o el letrero de «croissant de nutella» pero algo me atraía, así que decidí probar y vaya si me he llevado una agradable sorpresa! No paro ahora!
El concepto es de cafetería vegetariana/​orgánica (aunque también tienen cosillas no veganas) y además hacen bocadillos y menú al medio dia.
1. Pastas: croissants de masa sin huevos ni leche animal con rellenos que van desde frutas a nutella. No he probado los muffins pero tienen muy buena pinta, son hechos com frutas frescas. Además tienen empanadas, croquetas, tartas y pizza vegetariana!
2. Bocadillos: de un montón de tipos, veganoa y mos veganos, así como una burger vegana hecha a base de lentejas y guiasantes, o soja o arroz con espinacas, una pasada.
3. Menús: por 7,90 tienes dos platos; casi siempre una crema (tambien hummus, babaganoush) + una plato mas fuerte (yo ya he probado los fideos de arroz y la lasaña vegetariana que es de lo mejor que he comida vegano). Además tienen combinaciones de bocadillos y bebidas. Todo esto perfectamente para comer dentro o take away.
*tambien hay desayunos con muesli y tostadas!
4. Zumos: tienen zumos naturales, detox, y basicamente lo que quieras. Yo me pedí uno de zanahora, naranja y jengibre que estaba rico rico.
Tambien tienen kombucha organica!
Que es larga la critica, si, pero este local se lo merece. Este es el tipo de local que hay que apoyar, que estan en peligro de extinción. Los dueños son encantadores, y siempre estan dispuestos a explicar sus platos, y todo ahí, fuera del metro de universitat.

Decent sandwich for a mostly vegan place. The chocolate croissant was fabulous and totally saves the place.
The younger server spoke good english, but we struggled with the older man working the counter — our fault though.

Little restaurant with wonderful staff. They have vegan food and a large variety of pastries. The only handicap I that the place is really small. My advise is going after long shopping evening and eat any pastry (Nutella croissant)

Average at best both the sandwiches and the sweets. If you have no other choice go here.

Hmmm if the food could speak for itself I would have given this place more than 3 stars. The food is great and it is so nice to have unique vegan options, pastries especially! However, the environment is very mediocre and I got weird vibes from the man working up front. I feel bad to knock off two stars for this as it could have just been a fluke morning, but, it is what it is. One thing I will say is how nice it was to have a vegan chocolate croissant, that is a rare find! Also, it’s reeeeallly cheap.

Not nearly as good as I was expecting. Not everything was vegan as I was expecting from their advertisements and the food was only mediocre at best. Baked goods were very dry as dwell as the sandwiches. Not worth the visit when there are so many other places in the city offering great vegan options.

Though small, the lunch was great and the staff was exceptionally pleasant. The variety of food for such a small establishment was surprisingly large.

Amazing place!!! Not just for vegans (but also for vegans). The food is delicious, the ambience is great (small spanish bakery) and the owners are super friendly. We couldn’t stop coming back…

Atención exquisita, trato familiar y que voy a decir de la comida. La selección vegana es inmensa, menus de mediodia, empanadas (la de champiñones es espectacular), bolleria, tartas… y me queda probar la hamburguesa y ya os diré! Un sitio que no os podeis perder
