My husband and I really liked this restaurant! Not that many options for me as a vegetarian but my husband said the beef tongue was amazing! We went back several times while visiting Spain.

My friends and I were studying abroad in Barcelona, and since going to college in Texas, there are plenty of taco places there, most of us were feeling the taco homesick feeling. We split the «Nachos Marranos» they were huge and pretty delicious! There are lots of salsas to choose from!!!
Also, their great taco names are awesome, if you understand spanish, you will really laugh out loud! (Chinga tu madre, te mamaste, etc!!), and really affordable prices, in fact, since one of the guys had already been there before, the owner gave us a free sangria pitcher!

Cheap and cheerful, good for a quick bite in a casual environment at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and good service.

A man was yearning for tacos, a man researched which Mexican restaurants were recommended, the many faced God led him to Tacos Tacos, he feasted like he rarely had before. A man then decided to search for other Mexican restaurants to try in Barcelona, and try them he did. In fact a man voyaged through the most highly rated Mexican restaurants in town, but he was left with a hankering, a hankering for the quality he had first tasted at Tacos Tacos, the restaurant to which the many faced God had led him, he realised his mistake in mistrusting the many faced God, a man learnt from his errant ways. A man never went to another Mexican restaurant again.
P. S. Beef tongue, beef cheek are out of this world hehe as are the rest!

We have wanted to try this place for a while because of the great Unilocal reviews/​ratings. Now that we finally had the chance to go there, we were a little put off.
Pros: the ingredients are really good. The small portions may be a plus for you if trying to lose weight. Staff was friendly and responsive if you disregard the fact that they expect you to order at the counter and pay at the counter.
Disputed: we did not agree on the décor and music. I Didn’t mind the music, sombre lighting and eclectic collection of Mexican masks/​artwork but my company disliked them.
Cons: they were out of chorizo which made key menu items unavailable. Wtf?! For the portions, I found their prices unreasonably high. Their cocktails are tiny and weak. Even if all items on the menu had been available, the number of choices are very limited.
Perhaps this place would be best if frequented with a large group that isn’t stingy and isn’t hungry. Just around the corner, «The Good Burger» will feed you twice as well for half the price. (See my tgb review)

The best tacos in Barcelona. Good prices, great atmosphere, great margaritas. Wonderful neighborhood to wander around drunk after dark in afterwards. Careful, it’s addictive stuff.

Happiness! Great tacos, amazing décor, reasonable prices, and did I mention great tacos? :) Lots of salsas for free, Mexican food that is pretty authentic. Both the chicken tacos and the chorizo one were fantastic. Highly recommended!

Good variety of tacos and loved the line up of salsas placed on the table. Worth a look any night of the week they’re open. Great playlist too.

The first time I went here I would have easily given it a 5-​star rating. The tacos were delicious and at a reasonable price point (1,50 €, 1 € on Tuesdays!), plenty of salsa choices and everything tasted fresh.
However, after my second visit I have had to downgrade the rating a bit. The tortillas tasted as if they had not been heated enough, and unfortunately this was a fatal error as it jeopardised the taste of the entire taco. :(It could have been because they were quite busy.
I would try and go during the early hours of Happy Hour when it’s less crowded.

There are a bunch of unique tacos, definitely try some that are out of the ordinary! (Don’t forget a margarita too)

Uno de los mejores lugares para tacos en Barcelona. No es mi favorito, pero sin duda uno de los mejores. Los precios son muy razonables y si te registras con Unilocal te dan un taco gratis. Las salsas son grandes y van desde leves a muy picante.
One of the best taco places in Barcelona. Not my favorite, but definitely one of the better ones. The prices are very reasonable and if you check in with Unilocal you get a free taco. The salsas are great and range from mild to very spicy.

Si quieres comer tacos ricos ricos y baratos, este es el lugar indicado. La calidad de los tacos está muy bien cuidada y hay variedad para escoger. No los he probado todos, pero los que he probado están absolutamente buenos, los de pollo con mole, ternera, ternera y chorizo, pollo, etc.
Las camareras y los chicos son muy atentos y siempre hay buen rollo. Algo que llama la atención es que siempre está a tope, pero si esperas un poquito en la barra tomándote algo (cervecita varias, aguas de tamarindo y jamaica, margaritas, etc), seguramente se desocupa un lugar.
Y haciendo check in tenéis un taco gratis. Os lo recomiendo!

Love this place! The food is really good, as are the drinks. The unique style of the bar definitely puts it on the ‘must-​see’ list. Enjoy some good Mexican cuisine spiced up with some great Mexican humour!

Really great, cheap Mexican food — the nachos were especially yummy, and the jalapeño sauce was a stand out. Definitely give Tacos Tacos a visit!

Tacos Tacos… We had a great time here so glad we cycled the 12 km round trip just to experience it! Agree with Melissa K, pork cheek, beef neck and pilbil chicken… Delicious!
Best bits… After the food that is! Bathroom was spotless, a real treat in Barcelona! And no smoking inside and no alfresco wafting the cigarette smoke inside. Whole experience great, we even bought the tee.
Kia Ora Tacos Tacos

No sé qué decir de este lugar. Me dejó bastante sorprendido y todavía estoy alucinando. Suele estar bastante lleno ya que normalmente siempre hay ofertas y sino las hay, los precios están tirados, por tanto el resultado es siempre el mismo: Abarrotado.
La carta de tacos es amplia: Cayeron uno detrás del otro «Hijo de la Chingada» (pollo con Mole), «Pinche Pendejo» (lengua de res), «Gilipollas» (morcilla), «Malparit» (butifarra de bolets) y «Que et fotin» (galtes de porc) y «No Mames» (ternera+chorizo). Todos ricos, todos sabrosos, pero me quedo con el de morcilla y el de ternera con chorizo. Tienen un surtido de diferentes tipos de salsas, desde la que no pica hasta la que quema. Recomiendo para ir haciendo boca unos nachos, están bien ricos. Y de beber; Michelada de Negra, un clásico. Y para bajar los tacos, un margarita: Por criticar algo; es frozen y no me apasiona tanto como el típico margarita, pero estaba rico.
El servicio es rápido teniendo en cuenta la gente que había en el local. Aún así, son amables, atentos y te tratan siempre con una sonrisa. El chico que hace los tacos es un maestro, cuántos tacos debe hacer al día?. Son un encanto todos ellos! El precio es 1.75 € por cada taco, aunque ATENCIÓN UnilocalERS; los miércoles la caña está a 1 €, tequila 1 €, Margarita 3 € y taco a 1,5 €; y según he oído; los martes, todos los tacos a un precio anticrisis, sólo 1 eurito… Hijo de la Chingada!!!

El concepto de «bueno, bonito, barato» se inventó por sitios como éste. Me encanta, no falla. Todo es sencillo, taquitos con harina de maiz y distintos rellenos. Normalmente a 1,75 pero martes y miercoles a 1,50. Suena poco, pero cuando te comes 6 tacos de un tirón se nota la diferencia! Recomiendo: taco ternera con chorizo, nachos marranos, y la michelada. Encima buena música, los camareros super simpáticos, y el local con buen ambiente. Es un must go!

Their double tacos should be taking over the world. So good. We also got nachos with chipotle crema, guac and refried beans – they should not have been that good. Even liked the beef tongue taco! WTH?! It’s witchcraft! Delicious, delicious witchcraft.

In a small street next to Parallel this small taco restaurant is hidden. The couple owning the restaurant are very friendly. They have different types of tacos: the traditional ones (chicken with mole was great!), Spanish ones and Catalan ones.
The tacos taste great and are really cheap. They also have a selection of Mexican beers, tequila and my personal favorite: Mmmezcal!

Great tacos especially the lengua! The margaritas were eh and the tap beer is German which these Mexicans found funny. Great staff and good prices!

I highly recommend going here. Great mochitos and very nice people that really enjoy working hhere. Also the ambiente is very mice and thoughtfully designed.

First night in Spain and yes, I want Mexican food. Not very adventurous, but I currently live in Italy and it’s hard to find Mexican food.
I’m so glad my husband and I came to this place. Some of THE best tacos I’ve had ever and I eat tons of Mexican food, so that says a lot.
The staff is very welcoming and the overall vibe of this place is wonderful. We will definitely be coming back here during our weekend stay here in Barcelona :)

Este lugar es bastante impresionante. Parce un fast-​food de tex-​mex, y un poco lo es: tacos generados casi en cadena, desde contenedores dónde la guarnición del taco reside para ser puesta en la tortilla. Uno pensaría que no puede tener mucha calidad, ¿no es así?
Basado en mi experiencia de ayer, la tiene, y mucha. Si con esa premisa puedes satisfacer a un comensal con simples tacos, algo has hecho bien.
Ayer martes el lugar estaba abarrotado, pues desde las 5pm hasta las 8pm, los tacos valen 1 €. Había cola hasta en la calle. Creí que el único camarero que rondaba el lugar nos enviaría a freír espárr… frijoles, y cuando le preguntamos si había mucha espera, me sonríe y me dice: «dame tu nombre y te apunto en la lista». Simpatía al canto pese a las condiciones, excelente.
Le pregunté si podíamos beber algo, estando de pie. Me dice que si, que enseguida me toma nota. A los 2 minutos, oigo desde cierta distancia: «Dani, ¿qué te apetece beber?». Miro por instinto hacia el lugar de dónde proveníà la voz y… el camarero se dirigía a mi por mi nombre de pila con otra sonrisa, dispuesto a tomarme nota. Impresionante pese al tumulto de gente que había.
Pedí mi michelada y esperé turno. Esperamos como 20 minutos al menos, quizá más. Se liberó un espacio en la barra y le dije al camarero que no nos importaba acomodarnos allí.
Pedimos 6 tacos y al hacer checkin con Unilocal… teníamos un taco gratis! Como eramos 2, e hicimos 2 checkin: 2 tacos gratis! Gracias Unilocal,y gracias por la iniciativa del lugar de ofrecer incentivos.
Tardaron otra media hora larga en llegar esos tacos, la verdad que esto podría empañar la experiencia, pero en realidad no demasiado, disfrutamos de nuestra segunda michelada y esperamos. Cabe decir que la michelada sin ser la mejor que he probado, estaba bastante, bastante bien.
Al llegar los tacos, todos deliciosos. Es extraño que tacos que parecen ser hechos a ritmo de fast-​food puedan dar tan buena impresión al saborearlos, no me esperaba ese nivel de satisfacción. Muy buenos todos.
Precio final? Muy económico: 20 € para 2 personas, con 2 rondas de bebidas (incluyendo 2 micheladas, 1 chelada y 1 caña), y 6 tacos (2 gratis gracias a Unilocal).
Seguro que días que no haya la oferta del martes son más tranquilos para saborear unos tacos, yo ya había ido y no había encontrado tantísima gente, ni la lentitud era tan palpable, así que… recomendado 100%!!!

had 3 (special) beers, 1 nachos con guacamole and 4 taco’s (1 free with Unilocal check in!) for € 13,20!

Fantastic tacos!!! Coming from Texas, home of Tex-​Mex, it’s hard to compare tacos, but we loved Tacos Tacos! The meat was juicy and the sauces were robust. The fresh made salsas just topped it off perfectly.
The margaritas were okay to me. They were quite different from what I am used to, but they worked.
The place is full of color and maintained well. The staff is courteous and helpful.
The owner is from Monterry, Mexico, so this is authentic! I would definitely recommend stopping by this place and they also have happy hour specials. :)

Tacos, burritos y otro tipo de «botanas» a muy buen precio, especialmente entre las 17:00 y 20:00.
La comida está buenísima, y tienen además cerveza Modelo, que me gusta mucho más que la Sol y la Coronita.
El pack chido (12,50 €) es una muy buena opción para cenar bien por muy buen precio.
