However, I won’t recommend the French toast had better. I would highly recommended the :

4.5 stars. -.5 ITS EXTREMELY BUSY. I think you would always have to wait at least 15 minutes to get seated. We waited 30.
I got a white americano and the super sandwich. The sandwich was awesome. It was placed on top of a stack of tortilla chips, next to a guac syringe. Piled high with spiced chicken and various veggies. It was great :) This is supposed to be exactly the same as Brunch&Cake but i’ve never tried that so i don’t know how it compares. But it’s awesome overall.

Este sitio además de bonito y buena atención tiene unas tartas espectaculares. La tarta de zanahoria en concreto es muy recomendable. Esponjosa y no demasiado empalagosa. La ración además ed generosa. Precio tarta 4’5 €

Great big breakfast before a day of walking, but each of these breakfasts looked so good and the presentation so great that we almost didn’t want to eat them! Good choice… English themed and all the staff seemed to speak English in case that is important.

Small and cozy local to have breakfast, brunch, lunch or an energy boosting snack. The cakes and cupcakes they make are quite good for a snack matching a vanilla or matcha latte (which I personally recommend if you are a matchaddicted like me). For lunch, the mango avocado chicken salad is one of the best options you can choose, it is tasty and healthy. One negative thing is that they have a poor variety of cakes because they only have two staples, the carrot cake and a red berry velvet cake. Also, I’m a little upset with this place because they never have beetroot latte (and I came specially for this like 3 times) so I have not been able to try it yet.
About the staff, they were normally nice and caring but today I felt a little cheated by one of the waiters. The thing is I cannot drink regular milk because I suffer from a slight lactose intolerance so I ordered my matcha latte with soy milk (which has an extra of 50 cents), as I usually do. When the waiter brought my beverage I asked him again (just to make sure) if it was made with soy milk and he said «yes, of course». Okay so, I believed him and drank my matcha latte and minutes after my stomach started to feel sick, that was when I knew he lied to me. I wasn’t sure 100% that my pain was because of the milk until I saw the bill, where the 50 cents extra for the soy milk were not included. This may sound stupid for some people, but those who can’t drink regular milk like me know how annoying is to pay for something that is going to make you feel not good.

Delicious healthy meals and pretty affordable. Service is great and place is cozy. All meals are very fulfilling.

Hands down the best breakfast we had while in Barcelona. My wife and I are from California and were missing a taste of breakfast from back home after being away almost 2.5 weeks. Even though this wasn’t exactly our typical breakfast it did not disappoint. We had the potato scrambled eggs with Iberian ham on focaccia toast, mimosa, vanilla latte and for dessert a chocolate crisp donut with cream filling. All I have to say is AMAZING!!! This place is definetly a must when in Barcelona. Also if your into organic food most of their dishes are made from organic products

I came here because of the good Unilocal-​reviews and it was absolutely worth it. This adorable place is made for the perfect brunch /​breakfast. A look in the menu makes your mouth watering. There’s something for any taste, whether you are a bacon lover or Vegetarian. I choose to have the Eggs Benedict with ham on a waffle with a delicious walnut-​raisin-​salad on the side and it was one of the best breakfast I ever had! Besides that the (organic) coffee is really good and the staff is sweet and quick. I can only recommend this place: I would come here and have breakfast every day if I could!

The menu had a good selection of healthy and traditional egg dishes.
My traveler combo with poach eggs over salad and raspberry brie sandwich was perfect.
Husband’s salmon egg benedict was well made with a green salad mixed with walnut and raisin.
Definitely worth checking out!!!

Si te soy sincero, el concepto «brunch» me parece una ofensa contra la humanidad. ¿Una comida que engloba «desayuno» y «comida»? ¿Para qué comer 1 vez cuando puedes comer 2? Yo adoro comer y no contemplo saltarse comidas, sencillamente va contra mis principios y debería ser penado por ley. Ahí lo dejo.
Dicho esto… si no te queda otra, este lugar que está a reventar un domingo a la hora brunchiana… es espectacular. Mi teoría es la siguiente: si lo haces muy bien, el éxito está asegurado. Y Travel&Cake (o su hermano Brunch&Cake) sigue este paradigma.
Nos presentamos a las 13h y nos colocaron en una mesa que compartimos con unas chicas. El ambiente es joven e internacional, como conviene a estos lugares modernillos.
Ojeamos la carta y la decisión complicada, todo parecía muy bueno. Yo pedí el super-​sandwich de pollo, y mi novia los huevos revueltos con guacamole y queso feta. Para beber, un par de smoothies.
Mi opción fue un acierto: un sandwich en un pan delicioso, relleno de pollo especiado y en tiras, con una salsa ligeramente picante y aguacate. Realmente satisfactorio, que otorga la nota que le doy al lugar.
Los huevos revueltos en pan de bagel bien, pero no tan buenos como mi supersandwich (no por calidad, sino probablemente por apetencia, me apetecía más lo que pedí).
Platos muy bien preparados y abundantes, por un precio que no se me hizo excesivo (menos de 10 €). Los smoothies si que tenían un precio un tanto más elevado (casi 5 €), y éstos no acabaron de seducirme.
En definitiva, un lugar muy recomendable. Aunque no creo que necesiten recomendación, porque están a tope.

Tolles Café mit ausgefallenem Frühstücksangebot. Wurden schnell und freundlich bedient und waren total begeistert vom Rührei mit Bagel. Der Porridge war leider etwas fad. Essen sah insgesamt super lecker und frisch zubereitet aus. Saßen draußen an einem kleinen Tisch. Sah süß aus und war schön, aber etwas unpraktisch, da der Tisch für Getränke und Essen für 2 Leute nicht gedacht ist. Wenn man einen der normalen Tische draußen ergattert, ist ein Besuch absolut empfehlenswert.

We tried to go to Brunch & Cake, but our party was so large they sent us here. It was crowded but they sat us immediately. The breakfast here was basically the best breakfast I’ve ever had and the rest of my party agreed — SO GOOD! We’ll come back here in a heartbeat the next time we are in Barcelona. We tried six different dishes and they were all amazing!

Pertenece al mismo grupo de brunch&cake y cup&cake. El lugar es muy del mismo rollo. Con mesas pequeñas, y un par de mesas para grupos o para compartir. El menú no es muy variado pero hay buenas opciones. Yo he probado el bagel de pollo con mango y aguacate, y esta bien, pero me gusta más el súper sándwich de pollo. Los precios no son precisamente solidarios, pero son aceptables. El servicio, (a diferencia de los otros del mismo grupo) un poco lento y menos amables. Creo que han perdido un poco el concepto original de dar un buen servicio. Por cierto, los donuts nada del otro mundo, no están mal, pero los he comido mejor y hablo de aquí en Barcelona.

As other people experienced, I originally went to Brunch and Cake but was directed here since it was bigger and has no wait. Really good brunch, interesting menu items but everything we ordered was really good. Coffee was spot on and smoothies were out of this world

loved the bagel with ham and cheese (my partner ordered it but I ate most of it lol) the turkey eggs benedict waffle was lush (only criticism a bit too sweet due to the sugar like nuggets on it)
fresh orange juice nice, good service. On the second time I went I tried the Cronut (I was intrigued) didn’t expect it served with a SYRINGE of sauce in the middle poking out (a bit off putting, lol!) unfortunately my sweet potato fries were nowhere to be seen (a mistake on the menu apparently) bit disappointing, after being told they were inside my bagel, before he fessed up, and out of ingredients for our smoothie of choice, a mixed bag, otherwise ok, would deffo come back here as great brunch, generally.

The best brunch I have ever had. We originally went to Brunch&Cake, where there was a 30 minute wait. The waitress said to walk down 5 blocks to find this place that was exactly the same with no wait. She was spot on, and I felt more relaxed here because I didn’t feel like someone was waiting for me to leave.
I wish now I would have gone for something sweet rather than savory, because that seems to be what they do best. No regrets on my eggs and bagel, though. The eggs Benedict with turkey on a waffle was the best dish we got. The waffle had almost like whole granules of sugar… so sweet and crunchy and delicious!
The service was nice and happy that we were there! The food came out quickly and the iced coffee was sweet and refreshing!

Out of my short list of places I warn people away from vehemently and often is this place. A rip-​off in its true form.
The prices are just as high as Brunch & Cake, owned by the same people, but…
The taste isn’t even like «ok, not as good as Brunch & Cake,» which it obviously isn’t, but the taste is not at all appealing. The first time I came I ordered a fruit salad with the least fresh looking fruit that I could have imagined, like it had been covered with plastic wrap and in the freezer for 48 hours. I’ve ordered way too citrusy avocado toast, I’ve ordered overly sweet and under-​tasty waffles. The salads with eggs on them are not good at all. The drinks are okay, they are fine.
The worst part is that they treat you like you won’t notice how little effort is put into this place. I don’t understand why they don’t make food like Brunch & Cake.

Been here a few times and I feel it is missing the mark of what it is going for. Of its sister/​brother places of Brunch & Cake as well as Cup & Cake, I feel this is the one that struggles the most as it starts to feel slowly more like a chain location, rather than a unique experience.
Coffee is decent. I would recommend going outside the traditional brunch menu and focusing more on the lunch items, which I have found to be better. I’ve really enjoyed the super sandwich de pollo.
The challenge is what to compare it too? To other places in Barcelona, it might get a 4. To those used to getting high quality brunch in London, NYC or Melbourne (Australia for those who don’t know where that is), it would get a 2. The service, especially, is not too bad by local (non-​tourist zone) standards.

Travel and Cake is essentially the same as its sibling brunch spot, Brunch and Cake, the main difference is that Travel and Cake seems to have more seating, a wider array of deserts (and donuts!) and more locals than tourists as opposed to Brunch and Cake. The food is very good, however I don’t think it’s as good as its sibling spot.
Still a great place for brunch, and I would recommend it if you want to go to Brunch and Cake but the line is too long… It’s only a few blocks away and there’s donuts involved.

+ Good coffee (latte) and very good food.
— Extremely loud indoors — both the talkative clientele and staff make the harsh acoustics of the space stand out way too much. Makes me not want to visit again for a soft start for the day brunch.

Bien, lo puedo calificar como cumplidor.
Fuimos a hacer brunch y la carta es la misma que en el Brunch & Cake.
Sobre la comida, pedí los huevos revueltos con ceps, versión vegetariana y son muy buenos; la ración es abundante, los huevos en su punto, sin estar muy cocidos. El guacamole se puede mejorar.
El servicio, ha sido muy rápido. Unos amigos nos estaban esperando y cuando pedimos nos sirvieron muy deprisa. El personal ha sido bastante amable, sin embargo, al estar tan lleno, es difícil llamar la atención del camarero para que vuelva a la mesa.
Me parece que han querido optimizar tanto el espacio que sinceramente estábamos muy apretaditos.
Está bien si vas con niños ya que aunque el local es muy pequeño, justo al lado hay un parque con juegos.

Bad English translation on the menu is cute. Kinda sad, considering that they are catering to the Anglophiles coming through the city… but, this is a food review.
This bright, sunny, and charmingly informal dining room really lends itself to the whole breakfast/​brunch/​lunch concept. The bakery case has a tantalizing selection of sinful treats, including stuffed donuts (as I’ve seen at Donut Friend in Highland Park, CA — though it’s not build-​your-​own).
As for the food: The presentation is very nice, with colorful salads accompanying the sandwiches and eggs Benedict, which is what I ordered. I’m not sure about the Eggs Benedict on a Hot Dog? but I did have the Benedict on waffle. I don’t think English Muffins are available here in BCN. While I found the food delicious, it was a bit heavy, and I felt kinda ill the rest of the day.
Service — well, we were a table of forceful American expats who have been living here for a combined 10 years. Had we not waved down the server, we would have been neglected and ignored. Ironic because the «note» (in bad English) on the menus said that they get very bussy [sic], and want us to help turn the table over. It’s their own fault that the tables don’t get turned over.
Better than most places. 3.5 reallly. Had I not felt sick the rest of the day, I’d have given this a 4.

¿Qué diferencia al Travel&Cake de sus hermanos Brunch&Cake y Cup&Cake? ¡Pues los ricos donuts gigantes!
Sin embargo, me quedo con cualquiera de los otros dos. Cuando llegamos tenían 4 tipos de donuts y una tarta en el expositor. Para ser un domingo por la tarde de invierno y tener el local lleno (como seguro tienen todos los domingos) eché de menos algo más de variedad. No sé si dentro tenían más cosas, pero muchos comemos con los ojos y si lo tienen dentro y no fuera, pues nos quedamos igual.
La decoración y el ambiente son muy similares y el personal un poco más seco, pero voy a pensar que era por eso de que era un domigo de enero por la tarde.

Oh my god! I just tried the doughnuts and travel from Earth to heaven. Very good… I’ll definitely come back again.

Having been rather pleased on previous visits to their sister café Brunch&Cake I thought that this would also be good and since we were staying close by it felt like a good option. First of all service was however very lacking — after trying to get the attention of the staff for a while I ventured up to the counter to order but was almost rudely told to go and sit and wait for someone.
After a while someone came over and I tried to order. My first option was sold out and the next one I was informed that the ingredients were totally different from what was on the menu (it had information of turkey and gruyère but it was now only ham instead). Since my two first option were not available I asked if she could tell me what was actually on the menu and then just got a blank stare and then a statement everything was available… Settled for the eggs Benedict hot dog and others went for a chicken salad and the mango bagel with chicken. I also made the mistake of going for coffee — the coffee was definitely better skipped…
Food eventually came and when I got the eggs Benedict with the hot dog it was clear that the ingredients were very cheap and low quality. The hot dog was clearly the cheap store bought one and it was wrapped in the type of thin turkey slices that goes on the sandwich. Taste was fairly flat and nothing really stood out. Disappointing. The bagel was ok-​ish, best thing was the fresh and nice mango but everything else was pretty bland and the chicken was sort of rubbery in texture.
Not sure if it is the same owners as it really feels as if the sense of quality has just disappeared and the service was disinterested at best (and rude at worst) so will not return. Prices are also at the higher end for Barcelona.

Por ahora tres estrellas, mas que nada porque supongo que al tratarse de un domingo, la gente se pirra por brunchear estuvieron un poco saturados y tardaron mucho en servirnos. De hecho, sirvieron antes a gente que había llegado más tarde y eso cuando ya llevas rato esperando… toca la gaita.
Por contra, el chico que nos atendió y preparó la mesa estuvo constantemente preocupándose de que al menos todo estuviera bien, cosa que también se agradece mucho.
Respecto al local, es chulo en sí, modernete, muy parecido a su primohermano de Enric Granados, con un par de mesas grandes para grupos, mesitas para parejitas y otras medianas para cuatro personas, vamos, que hay de todo.
En cuanto la comida, yo me pedí unos benedictinos (primera vez que los probaba) encima de un hotdog envuelto de pavo y rodeado de rúcula, un platazo!
Me pedí un Miami de beber, pero cometí el error de pedirmelo con leche en lugar de con zumo de naranja como hizo mi chiquitina.
En conclusión, no estuvimos mal del todo, pero la espera me dejó un saboragridulce… habrá que volver entre semana para subirle esa estrella???

Fuimos con muchas ganas ya que somos unos enamorados de su hermano mayor, el Brunch&Cake, que lleva más tiempo abierto en Enric Granados.
La verdad que la experiencia fue algo ambigua; algunos aspectos me gustaron y otros me enfadaron bastante, así que no puedo ponerle más de 3 estrellas.
Fuimos un domingo al medio día y seguramente eso influyó, ya que el local estaba hasta los topes, pero que vamos, eso no es excusa para no ofrecer un buen servicio.
Al llegar había cola pero el chico que se ocupa de las mesas nos buscó un sitio rápidamente en la terraza, pero en una mesa que se encontraba casi al borde de la ventana que separa el interior del local de la calle. Un pelín incómodo a la hora de estar sentados y por lo pequeña que era la mesa.
Me dio un poco de coraje que le tomaran nota antes a una pareja que se había sentado bastante después que nosotros (más que nada por falta de organización y estar algo desbordados). Tardaron bastante en atendernos la verdad.
Cuando por fin nos vinieron a tomar nota le comenté que nosotros nos habíamos sentado antes que algunas mesas a las que ya habían atendido, y el chico me dijo que no me preocupara, que pasarían mi pedido antes que los otros (pero no sirvió de nada, la comida de las otras mesas les llegó antes que a nosotros).
Pedimos dos zumos «Miami» de fresas y plátano, uno con base de leche y el otro con base de zumo de naranja. Lo primero es decir que tardaron bastante y que finalmente me trajeron el mío, pero el de mi pareja tardó otro siglo en llegar (tuve que recordárselo y el chico que me atendió me contestó cosas que son inadmisibles cuando trabajas de cara al público).
Al cabo de un rato llegó la comida. Unos huevos benedict sobre un hot dog que estaban bastante bien, y un bol de huevos revueltos con patatas con un pan de focaccia con pavo y gruyère (este plato se parece mucho al que hacen en el Brunch&Cake y me quedo con el de su hermano mayor; los huevos son más sabrosos, las patatas no están tan blandas y el pan viene tostado con jamón serrano, no tiene ni punto de comparación).
Los platos nos los trajo el chico que se encarga de sentar a la gente en las mesas y he de decir que es una persona súper eficiente, muy majo, con una sonrisa siempre y que me pidió disculpas por la tardanza, a lo que yo le comenté lo que me había pasado con el otro camarero… me pidió mil disculpas.
La sensación que tuve es que es un sitio que la gente puede ver «cool» y que se ha puesto muy de moda, con lo que han descuidado un poco la calidad en cuanto al trato y la comida con tal de llenarlo.
Volveré un día entre semana para ver si la experiencia es distinta, que seguramente sea así. De todas formas, aún estando desbordados no es excusa para que la bebida llegue a destiempo, la comida tarde una eternidad, no sigan un orden a la hora de tomarle nota a las mesas, o de que un camarero no trate como es debido a sus clientes. Si no pueden dar un buen cuando está lleno servicio igual una opción sería suprimir algunas mesas.
El sitio es chulo, el concepto también, y tiene mucho potencial, así que espero de corazón que pongan más atención en los detalles que he comentado ya que el sitio mola.

Empecé pensando que la familia Cup&Cake/Travel&Cake eran aquellos locales que siempre me hubiera gustado que existieran en Barcelona. Fui repetidas veces cuando los abrieron y me parecían locales cool con buenos productos.
Poco a poco fui probando otras pastelerías y cafeterías de Barcelona y ellos se fueron quedando atrás. Hasta el otro día que fui a Travel&Cake y me di cuenta que flojean mucho en cuanto a producto, que es lo realmente importante para mí cuando tengo ganas de una buena merienda.
Los cup&cake estan buenos, pero personalmente no son el dulce que más me guste. Todo lo demás no es ninguna maravilla. Ni los pasteles, ni los donuts rellenos, ni los bagels…
Para mí, transmiten poca veracidad, pero han sabido ponerlo bonito con los locales de madera y colores pasteles, imitando a cafeterías cool neoyorkinas o nórdicas.
Creo que hay lugares dónde poder disfrutar mucho más de buenos brunch, desayunos y meriendas, con artesanos detrás que trabajan el producto con experiencia y mimo.

Me gusta esta cafetería por sus cuidados detalles y por la atención de su equipo. El precio es un poquitín elevado, imagino que debido a su ubicación, pero perfecto para darse un capricho.
La carta se divide en 4 secciones: «Dulce felicidad»; «Ensaladas con fundamento»; «¡Qué huevos!» y «Bokatas con pan de lujo». Nosotros optamos por la sección «Dulce felicidad» y, más concretamente, decidimos probar todos los donuts. El Donut French Toast es uno de mis favoritos. La decoración con plátano y arándano azul ya prometía pero lo más divertido fue partirlo con el cuchillo y tenedor y descubrir que el agujero central del donut estaba relleno de crema catalana. ¡Ñam, ñam!
También probamos el donut que estaba relleno de nata casera y venía decorado con fresas frescas y con un vasito de chocolate negro Valrhona caliente con el que regar el delicioso donut a tu antojo. Por último, mi favorito del día. Este donut estaba relleno de una crema de ricotta dulce con frutos rojos cuya textura y consistencia eran justo lo que necesitaba en ese momento. ¡Qué cremosidad! Me encantó. ¡Bocatto di cardinale! Lo único salado que probamos de la carta fueron los huevos Benedict. Los sirven con pavo sobre «hot dog» o sobre gofre dulce, acompañado de ensalada.
A mí la combinación de huevos Benedicto con el dulce del gofre no acabó de gustar pero admito que es un toque 100% americano y al fin y al cabo de ahí viene el plato y el concepto de brunch así que había que probarlo.
En general mi valoración es que es un sitio ideal para hacer brunch donde la comida es de calidad y el ambiente y los camareros son agradables. Yo repito seguro.

No me gusta este local por la misma razón que no usaría un prducto de imitación. Hay una falta de veracidad tan patente en lo que ofrece este lugar que me molestó de principio a fin. Es frecuente que cuando hay un boom de un concepto (cafeterías de estilo nórdicas, hamburgueserías gourmets, cupcakes…) haya una ristra de imitadores sin esencia. Este local es un ejemplo perfecto.
Desde el primer momento en que me senté en una de sus sillas (de madera, of course) sentí que todo era falso. Para empezar, los camareros van disfrazados de algo así como de artesanos del pan recién salidos de una boulangerie parisina. Que te atienda un señor disfrazado siempre es desconcertante.
Qué le dirías a tu amigo americano si lo llevas a comer paella y la camarera viene vestida de fallera?
Luego, la repostería, bof. Ofrecen las tartas que te puedes esperar… Red Velvet, apple pie, carrot cake. Muy normalitas. No están mal, pero normales sin más.
Le preguntamos a uno de los chicos que trabajaba allí si la carrot cake llevaba canela. Negó con rotundidad. Efectivamente, la tarta estaba hecha con abundante canela; a disgusto nos la terminamos con resignación.
El café no está a la altura de otras cafeterías de Barcelona. (Federal, Taranna, Nomad, Satan´s…)(El café es el líquido sin cuerpo ni fuerza hay debajo de ese dibujo tan mono que has hecho, no?)
La decoración, sin duda, es lo que más rabia da. Todo está milimetricamente calculado para dar una apariencia de café chic, hipster, moderno, etc… Ni un descuido: Las grafías de las letras, la combinación del blanco y la madera, los marcos de las ventanas, todo¡ Pero cuando el contenido es vulgar el continente resulta irritante porque sirve para engañar maquillando los defectos mas que para potenciar realzando las virtudes.
No he probado sus donuts, no puedo opinar de ellos. Ni podré opinar porque no volveré.

Super bueno! El local es súper acogedor, parece NY! Los camareros simpatiquísimos y la comida genial! No sabes qué escoger! Platos muy originales y muy buenos para brunch o para comer. Postres, donuts increíbles!!! Super buena calidad precio! No os lo perdáis si estáis por la zona! :)

Conocía previamente el otro local que tienen en Enric Granados 19 y decidí probar este porque el otro suele estar hasta arriba de gente. El resultado es más que satisfactorio un local más amplio, más luminoso y con la magnífica comida del otro. Si te gustan las cupcakes, pasteles y demás no dudéis en venir, no decepcionará.

Vine aquí un día que el local hermano «Brunch And Cake» estaba lleno y me encantó. Los locales que estos dueños tienen en esta calle son todos preciosos. La decoración es espectacular. Muchas sillas de madera, tonos pastel, ventanales gigantes a la calle y mesas en la puerta si te apetece comer al sol.
Tanto si eres de dulce como de salado te encantará. Es un lugar perfecto para hacer brunch los domingos. Los huevos benedictinos y los sandwiches son impresionantes. Y las tartas cortan la respiración :-)

Sólo comí un maravilloso y especial pastel de galleta oreo. Que bueno, que matices! Volveré a comer.

YUM! This is owned by the same people as Brunch and Cake, which means it has to be good! They didn’t have any cupcakes when we stopped in, but they did have huge gourmet doughnuts. We got a dulce de leche donut that was super sticky and caramelly. It was super soft and not too sweet. I would love to try more of their donut varieties!

Toller Laden zum frühstücken/​brunchen. Es gibt hier wunderbare Eierspeisen in verschiedenen Varianten, Müsli, Obst, Joghurt, Donuts, French Toast… Siehe Karte! Alles wirklich sehr lecker und hübsch angerichtet. Auch werden hier Klassiker gerne mal variiert: ich hatte Eggs Benedict — auf einem Laugen-​Hotdog. Yummieh!
Lohnt sich unbedingt herzukommen wenn man in der Ecke ist, um sich für den Tag zu stärken. Ich würde in diesem gemütlichen Laden gerne wieder brunchen.

En cuanto lo inauguraron fui corriendo a probarlo, porque ya me entraba por los ojos su decoración y ambiente tan cool.
Gran sorpresa y disgusto q me llevé con la atención q nos dieron. El chico q atendía no paraba de tocar con los dedos cada donuts q le indicábamos, ufffff menudo asco q nos dio. Luego otro día volví a ir para dar una segunda oportunidad a este local. El mismo chico tocando los donuts con sus dedos y moscas dando vuelta encima de todo. Definitivamente ya no volveré más. Creo q hay ciertos mínimos q se deben tener en cuenta en lugares de este tipo.

Café muy hipster con paredes todo de blanco. El suelo de parquet y las mesas de madera calentan un poco la atmósfera. Seguramente un lugar muy de moda viendo la cola el domingo a medio día para probar los famosos donuts. Estaba de humor salado y probé el bagel. Teníà la aparencia de un bagel pero no era un bagel:(ni siquiera como un bagel. Es la segunda vez que me pasa en Barcelona con lo de los bagels que no son bagels.
Ok para ser cool pero no prevale sobre la calidad de la comida, ni el servicio.

In Grandmothers we trust! el travel&cake es una grata experiencia en todos los sentidos. Un local bonito, una camarera amable y una comida excelente! Fui a la hora de la comida y un bokata de burrata, rúcula, tomate confitado y bacon acompañado de unas patatas arrugás me hicieron el día. Luego, un buen capuccino y un donut para compartir (son gigantes!) y la verdad es que estaba todo buenísimo! Sin duda volveré, eso sí, me han dicho que los fines de semana es casi imposible conseguir sitio así que mejor tomarlo en cuenta ;)

Brutal! Unos donuts rellenos de todo… con dulce de leche, con chocolate blanco, con mezclas saladas por encima como cobertura… eso en cuanto a dulce, y salado no pude pedir nada sólo vi una especie de bagels redondas rellenas de pollo, lechuga etccc bueno vaya resumiendo el local es muy luminoso, todo madera blanca, bastante grande y el ambiente joven y guiri, pero guiri sano… no el típico borracho pelmazo! Un local perfecto para comer algo rápido a medio día o hacerte una merendola hasta reventar…
Pd: recomiendo la brocheta de donuts… hay que estar mal de la cabeza para inventar algo tan bueno… jijiji
