Loved this place! It’s right across the street from the Sagrada Familia. It’s a tourist spot but the prices were reasonable, the service was good and the paella and was delicious! And just being in Barcelona made it even a better experience! I highly recommend this place.

Okay… so I admit it: My 2 friends and I fell for this tourist trap. In our defence, we did check Unilocal beforehand and was encouraged to try due to its 4-stars. Located just down the street from Sagrada Familia, off the main street of Carrer Mallorca, it is a fair-sized restaurant with multiple dining spaces(patio, bar, and dining room at the back). ATMOSPHERE: Pretty cosy, and relaxed. Enjoyable for a meal. We sat at a table in the back. SERVICE: Good. Our server(also manager?) was serving all the tables in our area. So the pace of server may be slower than one would like. However, being on vacation we were totally cool with the chill pace. Server was still attentive/responsive, whenever he came by to check on us — so we still felt cared for. PRICE: Average. As expected for its locale. FOOD: The menu boasted local fare, and traditional Italian. We went for the tapas: BREAD — okay(not fresh/hot), served with a nice olive oil though DELIPLATTER — Good portion, but had better elsewhere in the city PATATABRAVA — Tasty; served piping hot and sauce was good BREADEDPARMESANVEGGIES — SUPER yummy; our favourite dish of the meal SEAFOODPAELLA — Good portion; flavour was okay; bit of a letdown because the seafood wasn’t as expected(we’d eaten quite a bit of seafood during our trip and have come to expect GOOD seafood. This was not) Overall it was decent. Nothing terrible about it. But would recommend other places to try instead. Especially if you only have a brief visit in Barcelona.

Great service, seafood paella is very good here. Just down the block from the Sagrada Familia. You would think it would just feel super touristy but no, it did not. The white sangria is made with cava and is probably the best we have had. Too bad we don’t have more time in Barcelona or we would probably return. So many good restaurants and so little time.

Italian owned establishment. We had the paella, the olive oil and tomato bread and eggplant appetizer. The service was excellent and the food was even better –absolutely lived up to the Unilocal review!!!

Very tasty, well cooked food with a nice friendly staff. We got the Lucca salad, the mushroom and truffle oil soft polenta, the chkn parm, and the meat seafood paella. It was all delicious. Would definitely recommend.

This place has a great location near the Sagrada Familia. The paella looked good but was sadly undercooked. This was odd, since I looked over at the girl next to us, and her paella had that lovely layer of brown on the bottom of hers. For ours, the rice was still a little raw in the middle, and there was a puddle of water at the bottom of our dish. No crispy bottom layer of rice. :(On the upside, the quality of the seafood was good, and the flavors were there — not too salty and perfectly golden in color. 3.5÷5 Patatas bravas were not crispy and had a spicy red sauce on top. They were kind of like sad cafeteria potatoes. 3⁄5 Meatballs were flavorful, in a tomato sauce, and tasted so good with the polenta we ordered. 4⁄5 Polenta with mushrooms, mozzarella, and truffle oil was tasty and perfectly fluffy, and decadent in flavor. 5⁄5 Kind of a hodgepodge, as the things I liked were fantastic and the things I didn’t like were surprising letdowns. This place appears to specialize in paella, so it was disappointing that it failed at the basics. It ended up being the only paella we had in Spain. Too bad.

Excellent, Italian owners and cheff so go for meatballs and pesto if you go for dinner, for a great lunch with views Paella and sangria. Great deal for the price.

The meatballs were dry out of the freezer. The lasagna was definitely 3 days old at least. One of the worst paellas I’ve had… rice was undercooked, meat was overlooked, the shrimp was the size of a fingernail. All in all, not a good experience. Go to the rambla for better food. If ur hella hungry and impatient like I was, just suck it up and to somewhere else.

hard to rate this one. I should’ve ordered the Italian dishes instead of the ‘possible’ fusion of Spanish dishes, though the staff were Spanish but suspect co-owners exist with Italian roots, who knows exactly but their intro in their menu somewhat explains it, but just too hungry to read carefully lol Ordered mushrooms & garlic and the seafood panella, which the rice actually the highlight. just one big crayfish, several mussels, lots of squid & baby shrimp, tasted fresh but nothing special. I would return because they apparently have the best meat lasagna: their restaurant name speaks for itself. friendly staff. cant believe they dont know what ginger ale is!

Nice location, but the food just didn’t deliver. It’s not bad, just not great… not entirely sure why all the reviews are so great; maybe it’s just an off-night.

Nice spot for seafood paella with a view of La Sagrada Familia. Avoid the mushrooms, it’s a giant salt bomb. Do not avoid the waitress, she’s model-level hot.

Not worth it. Best part was the free bread. Paella was reheated and didn’t taste very fresh. Kind of expected from a place this close to the Sagrada Familia

Nice view of Sagrada Familia if you sit outside. Cappuccino also nice. Paella was underwhelming.

Excellent place !! Really happy we found it because of Unilocal reviews. They made a veggie paella for me that they didn’t have on the menu and it was so so delicious. Coffee is really good and of course you have to do fresh orange juice when in Barcelona. Very cute place with good views of the sagrada familia and super service. I would definitely come back when visiting.
