T.J.Maxx has been a frequent source of favorite purchases recently, as well as the past few years. A few days ago I scored the only T-Fal non-stick 10″ non-stick skillet for $ 12.99(Cook’s Illustrated Favorite). LOVEIT. I had no idea they carry a great selection of Made in America dog treats at better prices than Petsmart. My sister got some great deals on planter pots for her patio; great colors, designs, and prices. Off-season socks were marked down to $ 1. On a low shelf, Dr Bronner’s castile soaps in great scents were available(popular for homemade laundry detergent). Like Ross and Marshall’s, it’s a close-out store. It’s clean, well-lit, spacious, great selection of medium and high end products. When you find something you like, get it, as it’s not likely to be there the next day.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Abilene, TX
TJ Maxx opened here in Abilene on 13 November – like, four stores down from Ross, in the same strip mall. Funny. It is definitely a step up from Ross, at least this location. The layout is more conducive to shopping and it looks way more clean. The selection of all items, clothing, home goods, purses etc seems better as well. Today I purchased $ 467 worth of stuff for only $ 145; definitely a bargain in my book. Additionally, the sales people here at TJ Maxx are infinitely friendlier. They are always happy and helpful – but not over helpful. I actually feel compelled to start chatting with them because they are nice, not because I want to erase the awkward silence found at other places. So if anything, go to TJ Maxx to help eradicate awkward small talk. And get some cute shoes while you are there(but stay away from the 7’s – those are mine).
