Looking for a place to eat on Unilocal and came across this place. We never would have found his place on our own, but I’m glad we did. Glen, the owner was a gracious host and great cook. I don’t eat seafood but my boyfriend had and omelet with every piece of seafood you could imagine and he said it was the best thing he’s eaten. Michelle, our sever was so friendly and thoughtful. I enjoyed my food and the mic comforting feeling. I was unsure how we would be received but I will be back every time I’m here. It felt like home.

Stopped for brunch and went back for dinner a week later. Casual and friendly atmosphere. The staff make everyone feel very welcome and comfortable. The chef, Glenn, accommodates any requests he can including dietary restrictions. The food is the best and freshest you’ll find in the area. Better than anything you’ll find in Atlantic City. It is BYO. Prices are very reasonable. The place is small, the kitchen is open, which means you can ask the chef any questions.

What a nice find. Based on positive reviews we decided to try it. You’d drive right by if you weren’t looking for it. Set at a small marina, this elevated shack serves great food with a huge heap of personality. The owner Glen is so cool. Had he sausage omelette with provolone and broccoli rabe, and an omelette with scallops bacon and goat cheese. Awesome ! Note: cash only. I had to find an ATM and come back to pay. It isn’t cheap, though. Breakfast for two was $ 33.

Quite honestly one of the best omelettes I have ever had. Incredible atmosphere. The chef and waitress will be your friends by the end of the meal. I’m worried that by the next time I’m in the area, there’s going to be a line down the block to get in. If I could give 6 stars I could. This place is CAN’T MISS!

We’re Hooked! Stopped there Sunday morning for Brunch based on the Unilocal reviews. Almost turning around when we saw the place, but so happy we stayed. I almost don’t want people to find out about this place or there will be lines to get in. I had the scallops, bacon, spinach, goat cheese omelet special for $ 10.50. IT was awesome and full of fresh scallops. 2 in our party had the pancakes(3) and took home about half that they couldn’t finish, but said they were delish! Great staff and Glenn is friendly and talented. Just note they only accept CASH. They do a pre-fix dinner on Saturday and Sunday they we will be trying soon.

Don’t miss this place. Glenn and his staff make it well worth the trip off the beaten path. Omelettes are out of this world. Five stars all around, from start to finish!

This has got to be the best place in jersey and should be on that triple D show. Everything here is so good I would not change a thing about any of the food. People there are really friendly, Michelle, the waitress very kind always on top of the serves and fun to joke with. The owner, glen, would sit down and talk to everyone there to make sure you were satisfied. I had the lobster roll, which was filled with lobster not over cooked and falls apart in your mouth. The fries, I know you think all fries are the same but I found out there not, light and flaky with great seasoning and fluffy inside. The slaw also so good. If you have time for only one spot while your here, this is the place to go!!!

Fantastic little spot on the bay. Great fresh seafood with such a nice and welcoming staff. The owner and chef Glen truly puts his heart into each dish! Do yourself a favor when your done in AC and get away from the casino for a hot second a short trip away and enjoy this unique experience!

While the owner Glen is about the most friendliest chef we have ever met. We just moved to the area about seven months ago and found this restaurant listed as an advertisement in the newspaper. He has been here for about 18 months but has run great restaurants in other places. The food is not expensive but is exquisitely prepared and presented. It is very tasty and I might have to add, I was quite full at the end of dinner. He is only open for two days of the week for dinner as he specializes most of the time on breakfast and lunch. You need to come here but he does not except reservations generally.

Amazing food. Glenn the owner and chef makes every meal fun and exciting as if everything was personally catered to our needs. There are daily specials… Specials written on a board and specials he just comes up with for you. I went here 2 days in a row for brunch during my stay in Atlantic City. He even made me clam chowder from scratch which was so delicious even without the flour. On our first day we heard that he just made the brisket so my boyfriend tried his brisket reuben. I had his chicken cheesesteak which was perfectly seasoned and the chicken wasn’t dry which was a first for me. All in all wonderful place to drive to to skip the hustle hustle of the Atlantic city casinos and gambling floors.

OMG! Breakfast is incredible. It’s the best kept secret in Absecon. The owner is a true character and he can back it up with his food. I’m looking forward it trying different items off the menu. The specials aren’t posted but you won’t be disappointed.

This place is AWESOME! Food is on point. Lobster roll was $ 16 and the one of the best I’ve had. Coming from an NYC local this place is a gem. Impressed. Local and homey. You need to eat here. Owner is hilarious and super nice.

So we found this place via the other Unilocal reviews we saw. When we got there it looked to be closed but it was because we had just missed the morning rush. However this was one of the most down to earth and amazing food experiences I’ve had in awhile. We order soup and omelette specials that included seafood, veggies, and goat cheese. Yet the most pleasurable feeling was hanging out with the owner Glen and his beautiful staff of Michelle and Marie. Between great quality food and awesome conversation we felt at home and there is no better way to eat.

Glenn is a dedicated chef, who gets food. He isn’t there show boating, It’s not about the building it’s about the food hands down. Considering it’s only 15 minutes outside of Atlantic city, no tolls, no riff raff no frills… this man knows how to cook. We Ordered the specials that aren’t on Menu, Glenn literally walked up to us and asked«what are you in the mood for?» And created two separate omelettes not even on the menu *see the pictures* I mean I honestly have nothing to say bad about this place everything was made to perfection. Leave the big city, and get a local gem. Don’t be shocked if in the next few years they are on tv someplace!!!

First time, last time. The people are really nice or there would have been a trifecta. We were terribly dissappointed.

I came upon this out-of-the-way spot when traveling from New York to D.C. On a cold winter day. I came in to the restaurant with a bit of trepidation, since it is not impressive to look at, but the five star reviews pushed me through the door. What a friendly and delicious place this is. Nothing pretentious at all about the food, just deliciously prepared from scratch by the friendly owner, and service like you would see in Mayberry. I really enjoyed the meal, and even a slice of cake prepared by Grandma. Next time I am in Atlantic City, I’m definitely going to be back to see what’s on special that day!

Okay, so we were stuck at the casino for 2 days and were finally freed from the 2016 blizzard… we stopped by for the 1st time and we’re «Hooked»! Quaint, rustic & awesome! We arrived at brunch time so we choose specialty omelettes… whoa, excellent flavor combinations… fresh fruit cups… oh and we ordered a bowl of clam chowder, so darn tasty that I needed my own bowl!!! Chef Glenn has amazing talent and food enthusiasm that brings his food to a new unique level!!! His energetic and charismatic personality makes you feel perfectly welcomed and at home! Michelle was very welcoming & provided us with outstanding service! We will be back family!!!

Earned every five stars. Delicious food and great service. Seafood soup was cooked perfectly. Lobster rolls are so fresh I think the meat just came off one of the boats outside. Nice hidden gem with no lines and local charm. Glen, owner/chef, is truly passionate about what he serves. Jealous of the locals who have access to this place. Once again Unilocal has led me to another winner.
