I won’t be back. It isn’t awful but compared to so many other far better wineries in the region, not worth visiting. Cute but Spartan facilities. Wines were OK but again, better isn’t far.

White and red were really good. Tempranillo was one that I liked. I really like this place and plan to come back next time and maybe join the club after finishing my «collection.» The servers were really friendly and helpful.

Very cool spot to visit. Hidden away little gem! Cozy brick building, warm and friendly tasting room where I felt right at home. The wines are super affordable(all are under $ 14 if I’m not mistaken). There’s incredible case sales, and on my visit a holiday gift pack set. They didn’t have a wine open that I wanted to taste and the second I mentioned wanting to try it– it was opened for me to taste. Great service and an enjoyable time tasting the wine.

A group of 6 of us came here on Sat. Aug. 15th for a tasting. There are tables and chairs to sit down inside the tasting room, which is nice, but more tables could easily fit into the room. There are a couple of nice lab dogs that wander on the property. We were served promptly at the tasting bar. The downfall? None of us seemed to care for the wine. Usually there is at least one we like, but no one in the group found one they enjoyed. I may try them again some day, but it’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out well for us. Another plus, they have very clean restrooms on their property.

This winery is close to home and fits nicely in my budget. I love Bridget and the tasting staff, and the owner has a super cute yellow lab that she should bring around more often. As a member you can change out anything you don’t love in a particular shipment and they regularly have great sales on cases. It’s good wine for a reasonable price.

I love this place. The people who work here are so sweet and helpful. Last time I came in, they had a crate for sale — 12 bottles of wine for $ 48. I should have bought more than 2. Wonderful«Tuesday night wines». Become a member, get on their email list, go visit. The wines are great table wines, and they’re affordable!

Great Lodi wine tasting experience. They focus a lot more on whites than most Lodi wineries, although most of the white wine grapes come from the Delta. For the price, one of the best deals in Lodi. Their normal price is much lower than most Lodi wines, but we happened to hit them at a time when they were having a sale — any one of a number of wines for $ 48 a case! We bought a case of the Gewurz and a case of the Rose, both excellent. They are looking to integrate more Lodi grapes into their selection, but what they have now is incredible.

We were on our way out of Lodi on a Sunday around 11:00 and decided to hit one more winery before our trip came to a close. Boy are we glad we found Dancing Coyote! The owner/employees were personable, funny, and knowledgeable. The wines were excellent and very reasonably priced. After a long day of wine tasting the day before, we ended up buying three bottles here: the Albariño, the Pinot Noir, and the delicious Moscato. Those three bottles cost less than some of the bottles we purchased on a recent Napa trip. It’s definitely off the beaten path but well worth the time!

This place gets an extra star just based on the atmosphere. I love that its located in an old grain mill. At first when we pulled in I was worried but that quickly changes when I walked in. THe place is beautiful on the inside and has some great history. They also help take care of the winery dog which resides at the winery and a nearby house… so cute! The wines were 12 – 15 $ so really reasonable. They are easy to drink table wines– you wont find anything ground breaking here. I thought all the wine tasted okay, but for the price it was good. I liked their rose of pinot noir so walked away with a bottle of that. Overall I think this wine is just okay but the tasting room is pretty cool and has a ton of character!

Horrible area. Rude employees. Below average tasting room. Walked out without tasting the wine. Don’t bother the stop.

After a so-so visit to Viaggio winery, I Unilocaled to see what else was close by and I found Dancing Coyote winery. Driving up we were a little confused where the tasting room was but quickly found it. Me, my hubby, and hubbies’ ex in laws(cool people) and I .Yes, it may seem like strange company but those of you in second marriages may understand many relationships continue after divorce! Anyways once I have a little wine in me, I could hang out with many people that I normally may not feel comfortable with! Anyhow we walked into the tasting room about 430pm room and were pleased to see only one other couple which was nice after being pretty much ignored at the previous tasting room for a while. The husband and wife who are the owners served us and were very patient, and friendly with us. 6 tastings for $ 5, you can’t beat that. I wish I would have read fellow Unilocaler’s Devo review and asked about their famous Pinot. I am not even sure if we tried it. I know we loved the Rose, and bought a bottle of it, the«in laws» bought a bottle of the Moscato. So reasonably priced, at about $ 12 a bottle. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up signing up for their wine club! Something we never have done at all of the wineries we visit in Napa, Sonoma, and Lodi. We will definitely be back to pick up our wines, and to bring others to visit.

This place is my favorite winery in the whole entire world! Heck, not just the world the entire universe! I bet the wine on Mars is nice but I would still prefer to come here to dancing coyote! They have the most delicious moscato I have ever tired. The 2012 moscato was just released and is even more tastier then my taste buds could have ever expected! If you have never been here, get in your car and go right now!!! The 2 bottles for 12 dollar specials can’t be beat.

Every time I meet family for wine tasting in Lodi we always start here at Dancing Coyote. My aunt loves this place and always buys at least a case of wine here. The tasting room is large and open and has a great décor. The staff is always friendly. Be sure to ask about the resident ghost at this haunted winery… Ooohh spooky!

I cannot believe there aren’t that many reviews for this wonderful place! Yes, it’s a bit off the beaten path, but we’ve discovered that places like this are hidden gems with both wonderful wines and friendly service! Now, if you didn’t know(which we didn’t until we came here), Dancing Coyote’s Pinot Grigio was featured on a Today show(the later one with Kathie Lee and Hoda) segment featuring CA wines under $ 15, and both ladies RAVED about this one wine the most, which was well deserved, because we got to sample it and was GREAT! Naturally, we ended up buying a bottle of this now-famous white wine! In fact, all their wines were great, and a super variety of white and reds, which I liked since I’m the«sweet/white» taster and Hubby is the«red/bold» taster. We actually ended up getting their Moscato as well, which is one of the BEST dessert wines I have ever had. Upon the suggestion of our lovely hostess, we took it home and slightly froze it, making it a kind-of«wine slushy» which was DE-LI-CIOUS! The ambiance and the prices can’t be beat… we are most definitely going to make sure we stop here at Dancing Coyote Wines on our next Lodi wine country outing. Highly recommend!

what a great group of people in the tasting room! they were very excited to answer our questions, very accomodating to our party, and even reminisced with us about childhood clapping games and songs. Gewürztraminer 2010 was a nice, crisp flavor with a hint of sweetness. I’m in love with their Moscato. another great wine best when chilled for summer days and/or evenings. I’m tempted to either join their wine club or just buy my favorites by the case, their prices are so reasonable for such a great product. thank you so much for your hospitality and smiles! see you soon :-)

While off the beaten path, The Dancing Coyote is definitely worth a stop! Their wines are delicious, their tasting room is inviting, the property is great & the girls, Shanna & Bridget, know their stuff. I enjoy the Albariño the best, but have not been disappointed in any of the wines I’ve tasted. Not only that, but the price is right! Their bottles are some of the most inexpensive I’ve found in the region. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed! Keep it up guys! I’ll be back for sure!

I decided to grab a couple of bottles for the weekend after work on a friday afternoon. I had previously seen a banner for Dancing Coyote on Unilocal,so I thought I would give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. Sort of a South Western meets Old West look. The host, Brenden, was very knowledgeable of the wine and gave a history of the winery and family whom produces these varietals. I ended up with a bottle of Zin and a bottle of Verdehlo. A red and white. The verdehlo is a good white which I would purchase again.
