Disclaimer: this review is based solely on our breakfast experience. We were eager to find a new place for brunch that was close to home. We ordered the French toast with strawberries and chocolate chip pancakes. The food was really good and it come out promptly. The staff was very nice and friendly and the restaurant itself was clean. Our problem was with the value, it was $ 23 for the two plates and two ice coffees and they came with nothing. There was even an additional charge of $ 1.59 for the strawberries. If you’re going to charge $ 8.00 for 2 pieces of French toast it should be on fresh brioche with something else exciting on the plate like bacon or home fries, I will stay home and make it myself for that price. One other note is the place had that«greasy spoon» diner smell that sticks to your clothing for several days and I wasn’t a fan of that. Oddly enough there was no music on at all, just a few muted tvs with random stuff on. On a positive note, I will say that the baked goods looked delicious. We will have to go back to try some lunch options which will hopefully be a better value.

We were eager to try this place after seeing all the glowing reviews on Unilocal and the write-up in the Boston Globe. Ordered the turkey club with fries. The fries were really good, crispy and salted with sea salt. But the sandwich was, well – quite ordinary. Would have helped if they had used real turkey and not the processed turkey meat one might find in a deli. Really two stars for the food, but threw in the extra star because the staff was so nice.

High quality food(lunch had a great side salad w/mixed greens & chips were high quality). Breakfast sandwich w/bacon on a croissant was like home made. Couple of recommendations: play some background music to cut the quiet, turn off the soap operas on the tv, put menus on the tables(w/condiments?), and if you keep counter-ordering; don’t stare at people until they decide– it is creepy.

The food and pastries here are very good. I have only ordered takeout but it is usually very quick and the food is very hot. I would recommend the croissants, scones or a turkey club!

I went for breakfast. I did not order the baked goods(muffins, croissants) but they looked beautiful. I got an everything bagel with my omelet but have a hunch that it was store bought which was disappointing. We ordered 2 omelets. The staff was very flexible and gave us fruit rather than home fries. I requested an egg white omelet. The cashier recommended against this saying it would be very small. As a tea drinker I was pleased with their various options of black and flavored teas. If I am in town again I would return and would be sure to try one of their pies or tarts which look as though they are made by a professional pastry chef.

I am thrilled Legend is here in West Acton. The owners are delightful and I’ve always been happy with the food and overall experience. I had the best ham egg and cheese on a croissant of my life at Legend. I’m also a big fan of their tuna melt and massive large iced coffees. Definitely worth checking out.

A great addition to West Acton. The food is good, comes out fast and the owners are very friendly. I come here often and am never disappointed. I’m sure that they will continue to improve as they have not been open long. Highly recommend.

Great food, friendly staff, affordable prices and the location is easily accessible with ample parking! And, hands down best ham & cheese croissant I’ve ever had!

Straight forward yummy breakfast! I had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant w/bacon. Perfect! I didn’t specify the egg and it was still cooked perfectly w/plenty of runny yolk without being grossly raw. Lots of perfectly cooked bacon, which I applaud because most places serve overcooked dry bacon. My husband had the Light Legend he described as «your basic breakfast» with 2 fried eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. It was just what he wanted! Service was fast and friendly! We also tried two pastries-a wonderful sticky bun with cheese filling and a blueberry scone. We’ll be back!

Went with my wife and kids for breakfast on a Sunday. The place was clean and inviting. We had pancakes and French toast and I can say that the food was great. Tasted really homemade and we were happy. But was disappointing to be served little disposable cups of Smuckers Breakfast Syrup. Just high fructose corn syrup and caramel color. Real maple syrup would go a long way. Who wants to pour that stuff on such high quality pancakes? The crappy syrup and the fact that the coffee wasn’t hot enough are why it loses a star, but we will definitely be back.

This place is very clean. The person that took our order was very nice and attentive. My only complaint is the price. I bought a sausage, egg and cheese and it cost $ 6. The sausage was a small patty and it was an average breakfast sandwich.

First time in. The ambiance is a little sterile but the place is spotless and my salad was excellent. I asked them to hold the Asian noodles in the Asian Salad. Not only did they do that but the chef approached me and asked if I wanted to do cranberries or pecans or croutons instead. Perfect.

We’ve been in a few times since they opened and so far everything’s been great. The hot breakfasts are delicious and made to order and the pastries are outrageously good. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, and definitely seem excited to be part of the West Acton community. Looking forward to trying their lunch options soon!

Very good breakfast! It’s finally nice to have a decent café serving breakfast and lunch in Acton that is not part of a chain. They had gluten free bread for my breakfast, which is AWESOME! Their pastries are all made in house by a pastry chef who has won Best of Boston! They also have extensive catering experience.
