it’s a good little hole in the wall. great for breakfast. reasonably priced and good portion size. lunch and dinner can be good also, but they do use canned foods. it’s a little annoying that they are still cash only, but overall you will get a decent meal here.

I used to live in Acushnet, and would go eat here several times a week. I moved out of town a few years ago, but I just keep finding my way back every few months. The food here is delicious. I’ve never had a bad burger here, but they also have homemade stuff like fried chicken, salisbury steak, chow mein, and meatloaf. Also, look for daily specials, including Fish N Chips every Friday. You can even get breakfast right up until closing, if bacon and eggs, or waffles is what you crave at 5PM. Interesting note for soda fans: They decided not to take sides in the cola war. They have both Coke and Pepsi products on hand. The prices are reasonable. Two people can eat for less than $ 20. Service is friendly, and usually quick, though there are times when you have to wait for a table.

Must have passed by this place thousands of times and never stopped in. Abner and I finally have gone for quick lunches… sandwiches, chowder, stuffed quahogs. Typical diner type food, but everything I’ve had there has been good. They don’t take credit cards, so make sure you have cash. We both had lunch for under $ 15.00.

Awesome little dinner. Great service and most importantly good quality food. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great satisfying meal or just for quick take out to get back to lunch. They also have really fair prices. overall great expire nice and I will make another trip soon!

Pop Casey’s is an unassuming little place on the side of a busy road. It houses no-frills old-fashioned dining. The menus are lamnated and pictures of specials are posted all over the place. Thers some booths and a counter for service. I really like the food here and used to come often to get the dirt cheap hamburger steak meal. Anything I’ve ever had was good. THe service is usually decent as well.

Andrew’s first line pretty much sums it up – it’s a ‘place where everyone in Acushnet has eaten.’ My friend Amy, who knows just about every place to go in NB, Dartmouth, and Acushnet, took me here for lunch after a good workout at WOW. You can tell that Pop Casey’s is beloved by senior citizens who are looking for a good deal, because they made up the majority of the people in there(around 11:45 on a weekday). Two big club sandwiches, two plates of onion rings, and an iced tea was only $ 16! Cheap and tasty, that’s what I’m talking about!

Pop Casey’s was that place where everyone in Acushnet seemed to have eaten once before except for me. It’s one of those small diner type places that you pass a lot, but never really stop and make a conscious decision to go eat there. But I finally figured I’d start to eat there when I moved into the place next door. Now the food there was good, typical diner food. Eggs, corned beef, and homefries was my meal on a consistent basis, and they did a great job of making that meal. The waitress’ are sweet ladies and the price is cheap. The only reason why I give it a 3 star instead of a 4 is because the people who run the place are douches. Living next door, I would frequently get into fights because of parking issues, and the managers tended to act like a 5 year old instead of actually having an intelligent conversation. Their constantly bickering eventually led me to vow to never eat here again, but I won’t be missing much because the food was nothing too special.
