I have been eating at this restaurant infrequently over the years. They have met my expectations consistently. I will be definitely coming back. I went to their lunch buffet today. And all the items on the menu were excellent! The chicken biryani was exceptionally better than most other restaurants that tout themselves as biryani specialists. They had a good mix of both north and South Indian food. And their spice levels were perfect.

Awesome food… Great experience! Recommend it for buffet! Once while we went, they were short of naan. They discounted us for the same

My family and I went to eat here tonight and the food was delicious. Service was good too. The restaurant was surprisingly dead for a Saturday night, which is fine with me since I hate having to wait to get in somewhere to eat. I got the mutter paneer, which was mild but had wonderful flavors in it. My daughter got chicken tikka masala and loved it. My other kid ordered palak paneer and ate almost the whole thing.(She usually only eats chicken nuggets and fries everywhere we go, so this was a testament in itself.) My husband ordered the lamb dhali and it was a lot of food for one person but he tore into it. We also ordered garlic naan which was very fresh tasting. Entrees come with basmati rice. The chai tea was bland, so next time I will just have water.

Went with a friend to try the Sunday lunch buffet. I was very pleased with the great variety of well prepared items that were offered. Soup to dessert this is unquestionably the best Indian buffet that I have enjoyed in Dallas so far. Highly recommend.

I am updating this to five stars as they have fixed the waterfall This is the bets indian buffet in the area. The food is excellent. Chicken tikka masala is marvelous. I would give 5 stars but the restaurant needs updating and they have an ugly algae covered waterfall in the entrance that doesn’t run. Highly recommend removing that or fixing it.

Awesome food! Best Indian buffet in the Dallas area. They always have great variety of both veg and non veg dishes. The menu items for the weekend lunch buffet change quite often. Their biryanis are really good and authentic tasting. The appetizer items of medu vada, uttapa, chicken tandoor, samosa chaat are always very good. They also have indo-Chinese noodles which my kids love. Overall the quality of food is always good and consistent in the many times we have visited this place over the past 2 years. I only wish that they keep up with the cleanliness and update the décor a bit. Good Indian food and I will certainly repeat many more times.

I wasn’t aware of the lunch buffet, otherwise I probably would’ve eaten in instead of takeaway. Ordered a Boneless Chicken Biryani and some veggie samosas. The samosas are HUGE. One of them is about the size of a small fist. I asked for the medium spicy biryani and it was quite hot, so I imagine it can only get more intense with an actual«spicy» and«hot» options above that. The dish is kind of heavy on sauce, but I’ve not had a lot of biryani so I don’t know how authentic that is compared to others I’ve had which were more dry dishes. The to-go portion of the biryani is massive, like a quart of food, so it’s a good value for the cost. I’d be willing to try it again in the future. Interior is serviceable, it’s a lot fancier looking inside than the outside would imply sitting next to a Chili’s and a Chuy’s.

Its a non-vegetarian eater’s heaven, Indian style. We went for their weekend lunch buffet. It was amazing ! Alot of meat and vegetarian options as well. My favorite was mutton curry A+, tandoori chicken A+, mango flavored fish curry A, fish fry A+, mutton biryani A+. They had uttapam, idli, sanar vadha, chaat, samose, cholle, 6 varieties of vegetables preparations, daal, noodles, chatni, fruits and 3 types of desserts. Huge buffet and it was all fresh. Not stale or made previous day. All really fresh. Waiters are nice as well. I forgot my babies bottle n they kept aside for me to pick up. I am coming back here again n again.

This is excellent Indian food. I highly recommend it. I had the Koorosh Turush. I spelled it wrong, but it’s under the chicken menu.

Horrible Indian food I ever had in U.S. They have no sense of making authentic Indian food… like in 1. Kheema briyani(grounded goat) instead of actual meet they add Lamb Kabab meat which makes worst dish. Giving me lamb instead of Goat. Dam you cheaters. 2. Chicken Briyani and Pepper Chicken — again same crap they added Tandoori Chicken to it. I hate the way they make their dishes… DON’T GOTOTHISRESTAURANT.

Hands down the best Indian I’ve ever had! The lunch buffet is perfect with a variety to choose from including meal, sides, and sweets. The rice that accompanies the buffet is so good. We love going here.

This was out first visit to this location. We visited because my wife found a group on for a dinner. We ordered the chicken samosa and lamb samosa’s they were good. Good size and the sauces were tasty. I ordered the Lamb Korma and my wife the Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken tokka masala was way over cooked. The chicken was dry even in the sauce. The seasoning itself was good but the chicken was not good. The lamb korma was ok but nothing special. The lamb was also overcooked and tough. The one thing I did really enjoy besides the Samosa’s was the nan. We ordered teh Plain, Kabuli, and Aloo Paratha nan’s. Each of them were cooked well and The servers were ok and they followed up on the table adequate times. Over all I would not return to this location. There was other Indian establishments that better in the area.

The food here is good, but not the best Indian cuisine I have had. I had their butter chicken, which was very flavorful, but a little too oily for my taste. Also, their chicken biryani was too flavorful for my liking, filled with too many cardamon pieces.

Bawarchi is great for Biryani although it can be quite spicy. I would have rated better if the spice level didn’t burn my lips. I’ve repeatedly request level 2 out of 5 and seems as though it’s always a five, maybe because it’s prepared in large quantities ahead of time and they cook for people who eat excessively spicy. Will not order out again. They have great variety for the buffet. If you’re not used to Indian spices I would suggest going elsewhere as they use strong flavors. Good place overall, not too into their palak paneer as the spinach seems blended, but their rassam and samosas are great.

I had dinner here tonight(not the buffet) and wasn’t especially impressed, though it was also not a bad experience. I’d eat here again if I needed Indian food in a pinch and it was that 9−10pm hour where many other restaurants are closed but these guys are open. My dine here can best be described as mediocre in all regards. The décor and ambiance is meh. It’s a big restaurant, but there were only ~5 parties seated here on a Thursday night and they were scattered about the restaurant in a somewhat odd manner. We were seated directly adjacent to another table, while others were scattered throughout. Things just run better if you have people closer together, and it helps the place feel more full. It was a strange feeling in here! Service was not bad per se, just unenthused. They were mostly slouching around as they walked between tables: the staff all looked pretty bored. We had one request, which was whether the restaurant could prepare a lamb jalfrezi for us. They have plenty of lamb dishes, and they make jalfrezi, but still our server had to check with the chef to see if this would be okay. The chef said he could not do this. We were super surprised: it’s a basic Indian dish! It’s not like we were asking for some strange delicacy that required special ingredients. It should have been an easy thing to make, and a no-brainer for them to accommodate. The food was ready quickly and arrived at our tables without delay. The lamb samosas in the appetizer were pretty good. The lamb vindaloo was okay: I asked for Indian hot and it felt mid-hot at best. I try to be clear with people that my being white has nothing to do with my spice tolerance, but they never seem to believe me! We also had a lamb rogan josh, spicy, which was more like medium and also good but not fantastic. All in all it was fairly unremarkable, but certainly passable. We used the $ 18 for $ 30 Unilocal deal and there was no trouble with them honoring that and deducting the difference from our bill.(Though in retrospect, he subtracted the $ 30 post-tax, when in reality it should have been from the subtotal. They got an extra $ 2 out of me!)

Great service and a very welcoming atmosphere. The paneer butter masala was great. Lamb kashmeri and chicken tikka masala was tasty and not too spicy. Overall a great location and great Indian food!

Awesome food ever had in US!!! I have eaten indian food in NJ(Parsipanny, Edison, Summit), NYC, IL(Chicago), CO(Denver) &CA(San Deigo) but have never tasted such wonderful food till now which I had here. We had malai chicken kabab, kabab shrimp, tandoori kabab, chicken tandoori, mutton biryani & last but not least rasmalai. Now review of each of dish. Malai Chicken Kabab: it was totally melting as soon as you had a bite of it. It was going very well with pudhina chutney & mirchi chutney. Kabab Shrimp: Me being a shrimp guy loved it to the core. They were medium size not the jumbo ones. Tandoori Kabab: This was totally out of the world. It was perfectly cooked to the T. Mutton Dum Biryani: This was good too. It was no fuss biryani cooked with well marinated & cooked mutton. Best part was the mutton was jelling well with the rice. Rasmalai: This I have to say was my suggestion to my friends who didn’t want to have desert. But me being sweet person(which am as characteristic too in my nature) had to have desert. As soon as order came I was still having my biryani, my friends attacked the lovely looking rasmalai & finished it in jiffy. I had to order one more just for myself, but that too had friends had a share but left good amount this time. Do check out the pic for reference. Note: Do checkin in Swap/Foursquare to get 10% off bill.

Solid Indian lunch buffet option along Belt Line. The food was delicious and satisfied my craving – the staples were present(the yummy onion fritter numbers, tikka marsala, etc.) but they also had a few tasty unexpected entries like a mango-sauce fish curry that was damn fine. Service was slow as hell or non-existent(no more water or naan bread on offer, apparently) but I would probably still come back due to the convenient location and tastiness. I would just have to go out of my way to flag someone down if I needed anything.
