So I’m on a vegetarian kick ! I’m not sure how long I can go, but it’s worth a try right? I have been having a hard time finding good vegetarian cuisine so I’m so glad I found this place ! First of all, the menu(to go one) has colorful pictures of most items so you know what you are getting. I like that. Everything looks very appetizing. A lot of their items use soy protein, FYI. I use it in moderation . I called in my order. It was ready within 20 mins . The service was great ! I was late picking up my order because I couldn’t find it and the lady waited on me for 10 minutes or so. She was very kind when I got there. Double points ! I ordered the Pad Thai for him and the fried rice for me. Oh, and some spring rolls. Everything was delicious ! You don’t miss the meat at all! Plus, I didn’t have that stuffed, awful feeling I normally have after eating meat. I love the place. They have tons of options also, even a buffet Tue-Fri. I will definitely check that out one day. :) Go here if you’re vegan OR vegetarian !

Looks a little run down, but the food was fast and tasty. Had the Saigon rolls and pad thai, both were delicious. Definitely need to come back during the week for the lunch buffet. Love that everything is vegan!

I met a friend up here for a quick bite and was treated with first class service and ate amazingly fresh ingredients that was prepared from scratch by the chef! We shared the egg plant tofu and wonton soup and was more than happy and couldn’t wait to return for another time to at least try the buffet. The buffet is only offered on the weekdays. You now this restaurant is good when you want to make plans to meet back again and you haven’t even left the restaurant yet! Give this place a try, even if you aren’t a vegan or vegetarian ! The fresh foods inspired me to eat and cook healthier, and even more vegetarian !! The portions were perfect and left you wanting more because the flavor balance were in point! We ate everything and still wanted desert but knew we were too full but plan to return to try dessert in the near future !! I’m gonna try the veggie phở next time !! The style is Asian which is even better because I’ve been trying to learn some new Asian recipes. See you at the Loving Hut !!

Love the variety of food during the lunch buffet here! Different veggies and veggie meat options. Great value for all the choices. Love the soup to! Comes out to around $ 10 a person. Come early for lunch as it gets crowded. Really relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Be interesting to try for dinner one of these days.

Most of the buffet vegan delights were dry and sparse. Tasted like yesterday’s leftovers except for the cubed soy chunks which had this awful foul taste like they went bad 3 months ago… a really putrid nasty vomit in your mouth flavor. I spit that back onto my plate. I could make fresher tastier vegan food from cans and packages. The environment is just weird with this oriental lady whose picture is everywhere… some kind of 2 bit charlatan god they worship. I’ll stick to Chinese buffet which is cheaper too and fresher and more vegan choices than this hole.

I love this place. To all the negative reviews… seriously… this is a vegan restaurant, don’t expect things to taste like dead animals and you’ll be fine. The flavoring is natural, they use lemongrass, onion, garlic and ginger to give flavor. The music is relaxing. The staff is usually amazing. My favorite is the lady with the short bob. She is so nice! The buffet is great considering the price. If you’re not vegan go somewhere else and stop complaining the variety isn’t enough for you, go eat dead animals at a non vegan buffet.

The Orange soy protein balls favor Panda Express’s orange chicken which is something I’ve been craving lately!

Loving hut is a chain of restaurants across the nation each with it’s own unique take on vegan cuisine. Like many other people, I don’t feel a meal is complete unless there is animal protein included. However, Loving Hut was able to provide my protein fix with lots of flavor without needing to harm one animal. The Golden Lemongrass Deluxe is my go to meal each time. My cousin had the save-planet curry, which was also tasty, but she also thought my Deluxe was quite satisfying to the pallet. Can’t wait to try the other locations and see if they live up to The Golden Lemongrass Deluxe.

Spiral Diner definitely has some competition for my «Best Vegan Spot in DFW» award! Loving Hut never disappoints. I hate that it’s located out of my way, but whenever I do make the drive, it’s well worth it. The restaurant itself is located in a nondescript strip mall off of Midway, it’s easy to pass by, so keep an eye out. The interior is spacious, nothing too fancy. One of the many things that makes this place great is the staff. They are so polite and helpful… that goes a long way in my book. You can either order off of the menu, or if you make it during the lunch buffet that would be your other option. I highly recommend that you try the buffet if you’re ever there at the right time. I’ve experienced other vegan buffets in the area that are awful. There are very few patrons, so either the food has been sitting out for a while, or it takes them a long time to reload the bar. This place is nothing like that. It gets pretty full in the dining area, and the bar is reloaded with hot food frequently! I couldn’t get enough of the sesame chicken and their fried rice… that alone is well worth the price. They normally have 3 or 4 entrees and 3 or 4 sides along with salads. Great stuff! The many times that I’ve been, all of my menu orders have been great as well. I’ve tried everything from the burger to the other chinese food items. I haven’t been disappointed yet. Out of my personal choices, I like the healthy sesame broccoli. Soy protein and broccoli covered in a sweet sesame sauce. It’s great when you have a vegan spot that is on point, and is getting good crowds. The people are taking notice, vegans and non-vegans alike! Keep it up Loving Hut! You will definitely keep me making the trip up to Addison!

Loving Hut is cool, because its a chain, but every restaurant is different. My favorite one is in Houston, but this one was not so bad. The food was good, a little TOO sauced up for me, and my dish, strangley enough, did not come with any rice to mix in with the sauce, so it was just not a good meal for me. Im sure if I had rice the dish would have been well. My favorite location is the one in Houston though, by far!

Simply put, I love this place! Food: Excellent. Even if you’re not a vegetarian, you’ll love the food. I had a curry dish and another that had tofu in a brown sauce. Everything was good. Plus, I didn’t have the food coma that one usually gets after a meal. Service: Friendly and professional. Décor: Very clean and inviting.

Good lunch buffet! Fill up on fresh and healthy stuff! Lots of protein despite the vegetarian menu! Cool and calming ambience! I like the pics of celebs that are vegetarians! Makes me happy I’m not hurting animals! Feel full but not heavy and sleepy like after a regular meal. Nice staff. Asian fusion! Today I liked the«sesame chicken», the curry, and the tofu and eggplant dishes the best! I miss Suma Veggie since they closed in richardson, but this is the next best thing! $ 10 for lunch buffet! Decent deal! I’m coming back! :)

I would come here every single day if I could. It’s THAT good! My boyfriend and I have tried a good portion of the menu and haven’t been let down once. I highly recommend the pot stickers, pineapple fried rice, and anything involving their crispy soy protein balls. And do yourself a favor and sip on an orange joy. Holy crap, the food here is so tasty. Plus, the lunch buffet is an unbeatable deal. For $ 10 you get all of the warm, delicious, vegan chinese food you can stuff yourself with. The pricing here is very reasonable and the service is always amazing. I recommend this place to everyone, vegans and omnivores alike. Your tastebuds will thank you!

I could eat here every day. Really. Well, lots of days. I’d still need Mexican & Southern Indian food weekly as well :) But any other day — I could eat here for lunch & dinner! Thank goodness Dallas/Addison has so many vegan options for going out to eat. My favorite part is the Happy Go Lucky Tea. Tart, with lime juice & rose petals. Wonderfully cleanses your pallet after a great meal! My mom is not a fan — if you can’t handle tart — don’t drink it — If you can — it’s sublime. The buffet is always good. Their potato salad is amazing, and every main dish I’ve tried was great… The eggplant, the house tofu with sauce, and oh the hot noodle option is wonderful! I will say half of what I eat there resides in the ‘salad bar’ area, from edamame to glass noodles and sesame cucumber. As a principle, I hate salads. As a 20+ year vegetarian/vegan if one more person offers me a salad, i will kill them(just kidding). But seriously iceberg lettuce and a tomato slice do not make for a ‘meal’ for vegans. Try & give me that & I will force you to eat only that for a whole week and see how much you like it! Sorry for the rant. But I ‘hate’ salads — except for at Loving Hut! Back to this awesome place. Their doughnuts are the simple, sweet ending to what I typically understand to be my meal of gluttony for the week. I just cannot help myself. I’m not too close to get there often enough, so I go crazy very time a I make it. Love it. Love it. The best!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for some time now… and let me tell you. This restaurant’s buffet is the Bomb when it comes Vegan restaurants around the DFW area. I’ve brought some non-Vegan friends to this establishment and they loved it. In their words«I didn’t even miss eating meat» as they would thank me for bringing them there to try out the food. And now, they’re are faithful patrons that also bring their meat eating friends too. Hmmm, I wonder if I’ve started something? ;) I guess it’s my way of slowly converting my friends to healthier eating. Y’all need to come and check these guys out! :)

I first went here when it first opened and they didn’t really have anything so I ordered the«chicken» burger and was so utterly disappointed(as evident from my first review). It was basically a Gardein burger between two buns. –_– So after that I was like, HELLNO. I didn’t come back here until I went vegan(which was July of 2014) and then I was like, HELLYES! I love their dishes, especially the asian-inspired ones. I could eat the vegan orange chicken or sesame chicken versions all effing day! So delicious. That is what I usually get. The last time we were here, I had the bokchoy and that was really good. I tend to stay away from the vegan beef(too close to the real thing and every time I eat«beef» it reminds me of the baby cow I am sponsoring out in a California farm sanctuary — his name is Harry & he is the cutest little booger ever!!!; he was rescued from the awful dairy industry — and I.just.can’t even though it’s vegan… just too real). I haven’t tried their burgers again and probably won’t. I come here for the veggie dishes! Love their thai tea. Just perfect amount of sweetness.
