Somebody tell these guys to change their name to «Outback» and not make it seem like they’re a steakhouse. I’d seen the commercials for years and had somehow never been, gave them a shot instead of an old standby. Oops. Atmosphere, service, food — they’re all on par with an Applebee’s. Not bad if that’s what you’re after, but know before you go.

Never have I left less than 20% on a tip no matter how terrible the service is. That is until I dined here. I came on a Tuesday night, not busy, but I called ahead and let the hostess know we were celebrating my father’s birthday. The service wasn’t bad until we got our food. At most restaurants, I usually expect the server to come back and check on our meals 5 – 10 minutes after we receive our entrée. I cut open my steak and it’s cooked to a medium, I asked for a rare. My dad who has for a medium rare cuts into his steak and it’s barely cooked. The manager who I see roaming around the restaurant talking to every table(including the one next to us) didn’t acknowledge us until I had to ask a hostess for our server. I understand that it might’ve been the kitchen’s fault, but I would’ve appreciated it if the server had checked in with us without having to be chased down. He didn’t apologize and in fact seemed annoyed when he came by to ask us about desserts. I told the manager I wanted to pay for all the meals, he comped mine anyways. I’ve been to outback many times, and won’t be returning this locations. Thanks for ruining it for us, Joe!

I know it’s not the best steak dinner you’ll ever have but man oh man I love everything at this restaurant. Disclaimer: My first job was at the Dallas location Outback Steakhouse ranch is my favorite restaurant ranch and I eat it with everything. The cheese fries, delicious, the quesadillas aren’t like traditional quesadillas but they’re so good. The Alice springs chicken is also a favorite dish of mine. I’ve tried all the steaks at one point in time and they’re seasoned perfectly in my opinion. I always get mine cooked med rare anything more and it’s too chewy. My friend was craving Caesar salad one day and I took her to Outback and it’s now her fave Caesar salad. I’m a fan of the bleu cheese chopped salad. I honestly think there are very few menu items I dislike, except the crab cakes, I’ve never liked those. All restaurants have the same layout relatively. Lots of booths and a few tables. The bar is also open seating, so if there’s a wait you can hightail it there. I can’t think of a time I’ve ever had horrible service. The most I’ve had to do a couple times is send my steak back for being overcooked. All in all Outback is one of my favorite two $$ dining establishments.

3.5 stars Came on a Saturday Night and faced a near hour wait for a table near the back. But it’s Saturday so that’s expected. Service was friendly and considerate. I was pleased. I ordered the chicken fried steak and what came was something along the sized of oven mitt sized. I didn’t have the appetite to finish it but it was better than I expected. Crispy, thin, and tender. For the two sides I got garlic mashed potatoes and chicken tortilla soup. The potatoes were meh but the soup was tasty enough. I may have to see if the chicken fried steak is as good at other Outback locations!

My boyfriend and I stopped by Outback Steakhouse to place a to go order, I knew exactly what I wanted off the menu and I was looking forward to it but we never even got the chance to place an order before we just decided to leave. The young man that was working the to-go area acknowledged us at first glance and said he’d be right with us then he walked off and began delivering orders to customers outside for about 5 minutes. By the time he had returned, my boyfriend had decided what he wanted to order and when the young man walked by, we motioned to him to let him know that we were ready to order. He said okay then walked right past us and went in the kitchen area then back outside. Several other employees walked past us as they were going in and out of the kitchen area and not one of them asked us if we’d been helped. After waiting an additional 5 minutes, we left without placing an order. It was one of the worse displays of customer service that I’ve ever experienced.

Our server joe was was less than stellar. I asked for silverware and ended up getting my own. We ordered, after having to stop him and tell him were ready, pasta, caprese(spelling) and two kids meals. Chicken fingers and grilled cheese. We waited 45 mins. Then was told the kitchen was backed up. THEREWASNTANYONETHERE! How can it be backed up?! Hubby’s pasta had water in it and was told that’s how it is because the pasta and stuff in it. NO! Oh! That’s what he gets and it’s never been like that! He asked for extra sauce and he brought it COLD! Smh… should’ve gotten a manager but with two kids and it being past 8 not worth the tears! Then…maybe 3 – 4 mins after getting our food he asks if we’re getting dessert or need boxes! Dude! We just started to eat! Slow your role hommie! It drives me crazy servers complain customers don’t tip, granted some are just jerks, do your job and do it to the best of your ability! If that is what pays your bills act like it! Work for the tips or get out of the field! Rant over.

It’s steak so of course is good. Everyone that works there is nice I mean cmon they’re in entry level sales. A little pricey in my opinion because for the same price I think I’d rather just light my grill up or catch happy hour at Ruth’s Chris escaping with a $ 10 bill, full stomach, and a light buzz. I’m thinking dinner prices here need to linger around $ 17 but hey it’s a chain I guess

Superior customer service! My steak was a little undercooked and they immedietly took it back to grill it more. They brought me another loaded sweet potato on top of that and were very attentive. The loaded sweet potato is delicious.

Literally leaving this place now. We’ve been in Texas for almost 3 weeks. I have been craving a nice juicy steak, since I always go to my local outback in California, I thought, something familiar is my best bet. We arrive around 7 pm expecting a huge wait being Friday and all. To my surprise, there was no wait. Maybe in Texas there are lots of steak houses, therefore the no wait issue. We sat, Peter our waiter shows up, seemed in a hurry, takes our order n walks away Here’s our order 2 water Grey goose apple martini Sesame salad with chicken 12 ounce New York strip cooked med well With a salad no onion extra ranch. We get our drinks Them the nightmare begin. Steak arrives n is cooked well. My salad no where to be found. 247 minutes later my salad arrived n it has no tomato, n there is no silverware on the table to eat our cold steak n no tomato salad. Meanwhile, our server is at the next table talking about how great he is as a waiter n he’s been doing it for many years n he’s talking so fast, I couldn’t even get his attention. The server behind us notice we have s problem n is very sweet trying to make things right, but is to late. She inform us that the manager has been made aware of our dilemma n will be stopping by. Waited n waited n finally couldn’t wait anymore so we begin to eat. At my last byte, she shows up to see how we are doing. Need I say more? Is no wonder Friday nights is at 65% capacity Thank God for outback in California They will make right Manager name was Katie

The food was great as always. Our waitress seemed to have to keep up with everything on this side of the restaurant. No manager was helping her out. She worked so hard but service suffered

This was our first visit to this Outback we normally visited a different one. We decided to visit this location for dinner. Overall it was not the worst visit to an Outback and some of the food was good. The 2 stars are mostly because of the mistakes on my prime rib. Service The server did a good job interacting with us. She was friendly and circled back to our table just the right amount of frequency. Her name was Cori B. Food During the visit we ordered appetizers coconut shrimp and Ahi Tuna and Tomato Mozzarella Caprese. The appetizers were good and consistent with the dish at prior Outback visits. My wife ordered Grilled Chicken on the Barbie. This meal was cooked correctly and was season well. She enjoyed this dish. My dinner on the other hand was a different story. I ordered a season and seared prime rib with lobster tail add on. It took them two additional attempts to finally get a medium prime rib. Each time it was WELLDONE with almost no pink inside. I have ordered this dish before and other locations have nailed it. The third one was finally close enough to med well I just accepted it and finished the meal. The tail was extremely small compared to other Outback visits so I am not sure if this is the new normal or not. If your menu shows pictures of steak temperature and you brag how your dedicated to steak perfection you can’t mess up three prime ribs! We ordered Carrot Cake for the desert and it was good.

Be careful going in a large party. Our group of 7 was crammed into a booth/table for 6 when the restaurant had ample seating. We were assured over and over that our party with 4 out of six members over 6 feet tall that they couldn’t move us and we would be just fine. They offered no other options. Food was decent but the service lacked.

Outback has pretty good steak. I always get the Outback special and it used to be $ 10 but now it’s $ 11.99. It’s the smallest size and comes with two sides. I recommend getting the Outback special if you want to eat steak but can’t eat a lot. As for a weekday the place was pretty busy and a lot were at the bar. My favorite side would be the sweet potato because it comes out pipping hot. The sweet potato has butter and cinnamon which adds flavor. The only thing I would not recommend doing is take the awesome blossom home. The fried batter becomes soggy making the saltiness stand out more. The steak was seasoned nice to my taste and the meat was tender.

Every trip to the home office starts with a visit here, as my boss is a creature of habit. We eat as a group of 4 – 6 depending on flights. We start with some apps, usually the cheese sticks and other carbs. I usually order the steak medium well, grill style. All is as expected, nothing great nothing bad… just is. The service is hot and cold. Some days AWESOME, other days we have to wave people down… There was a server recently that was so good she talked the boss into desert which rarely happens… The parking is easy, but you have to leave beltline to find it so pay attention.

Is it fair to judge a steakhouse by their cheeseburger? I think so. If you can’t handle a burger, I’m not trusting you with a steak. Ordered medium, and it was pink as would expect, but how can a properly cooked medium burger be so dry and tasteless? No really, dry and tasteless. Not enough fat in the grind, not enough seasoning, and too much working it over in the forming process. The awesome blossom thingie was certainly greasy enough to make up for the dry burger, but everything was cold before I considered combining them. I could have had a burger blossom. The rest of the party had Quesadillas and said the were great — go figure. 4 previous pleasant experiences at Outbacks undone by this disaster 3 nice waiters 2 female DPD officers dining together 1 sort of sick feeling half way through Zero burger juice drippage during the initial vertical hold

We went to the establishment at 11AM and found no other cars in the parking lot. After 15 minutes we decided to go in and we were the first customers for the day. Naturally promptly seated. We had an excellent waitress. Ordered the grilled chicken and rib eye steak. Outback has a lunch menu and a dinner menu however if you look closely, as we did, almost every item and price is identical. The grilled chicken came with a side(sweet potato) so my spouse added a salad which was extra. I had the rib eye as did the third person in our party. I also added the asparagus at an extra cost. The meal came with a salad or soup. I opted for the caesar salad which was small but very good. The rib eye was ordered medium and came back medium well with no pink in the middle. I accepted ti nevertheless. The steak was in my opinion a special cut of soem kind as it certainly did not appear to be a rib eye. The flavor was very good and the piece of meat would have been tender if it had been cooked a lessor amount of time. The waitress brought us three loaves of bread and butter. It came with the meal. Had a 15% coupon that came in the paper and it was readily accepted. Good dining experience today. There were only four customers in the place when it cam time to leave.

I’m by no means a salad person, but LOVE there mixed green blue cheese salad. I prefer the classic style technique on my steak because it seams to seal in the juices of the meat making it tender and juicy. Vs. the wood fire grill. It is a hot in miss on terms of how spot on the steaks are cooked. Sometime they are painfully over cooked, and sometimes they are exact.

Wood panel interior. Felt like the inside of a wooden high chairs you see at most restaurants. That’s how it felt when i walked in. Airy and stale. I had the lunch combo. Saturday was empty. French onion tasted too salty. The crispy chicken sandwich was oily but decent. The combo didn’t come with fries. No worries. I don’t think ill be back. This chain really needs an overhaul. Top to bottom. More than a menu revision.

Das Essen dort mega-lecker; dort habe ich meine erste Bloomin’ Onion gegessen. Ansonsten weiß ich nicht so genau, was an dem Essen Australisch ist; aber es lohnt sich so oder so.
