I don’t go out to nightclubs too often, but I like to get out every now and then. We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday night and there was a short, but quick moving line to get int. Once we were inside, we each paid the $ 10 cover and actually found a table near a bar and in view on the stage and dance floor. I ordered an overpriced $ 10 Ciroc peach and vodka and felt slighted as the drinks were so tiny. However, I figured the drinks would be pricey as this place is quite spacious and nice. The DJ was on point and the band, Don Diego, was actually quite good. I actually danced for the majority of the night. I would definitely return in the future. It was worth the trip.

First time back in about 7 years, same cool vibe. Arrived early so I didn’t have to stand the whole night. The band was amazing. Don doing his thang after all this time. Looks like new band members, I believe that was somebody’s deacon up there with a cardigan on singing«back that ass up!» Drinks were weak. I guess I will have to go back to getting buzzed in the parking lot before APD shows up. Had a guy walk up and ask me to dance. Didn’t turn him down so got some cardio in before leaving around 1. There was a line waiting to get in.

The DRINKS are always on point!!! ALWAYS! The band is awesome!!! But the bathroom isn’t the best and the place can get pretty crowded on Saturdays. I like to go on Friday night when it’s more catered to the grown and sexy!(30 and up)

Ok, so I went back and was pleasantly surprised. The mature clientele have started to return. Now my issue is that it’s too crowded. But there is refuge in the back by the kitchen. Only problem with that is you’ll smell like chicken. All in all, I had a more than decent night out.

The band is awesome! I would give 5 stars just for that. However, the customer service is absolutely horrible and the bathrooms are disgusting! We shouldn’t just accept anything if we are spending good money to get in and on drinks. The filthiness of the restroom is enough for me to give a bad review. The ladies restroom at that. I am lady. A clean one. As a clean lady, I find it disrespecftul that they expect me to use a restroom in that condition. There was poop on the toilets. Toilet paper everywhere on the floors. Filth. I will keep my 10 dollar cover and go somewhere that appreciates my patronage enough to have a clean environment. The older guy bartender was extremely rude. I asked for water. He asked if I wanted bottled water or in a cup. I said in a cup. He looked at me, rolled his eyes and took the next person’s order. When I got his attention again he said«what? We’re out of water.) I said, I will take bottle then. Next thing I know, he throws a cup of ice onto the counter and fills it with water from the machine and basically threw it at me. We had a few words and I walked away. This level of customer service is not acceptable and needs to be addressed. Not only was he rude, he lied about being out of water

Decided to revisit after a 5 or 6 year absence, and it has the same great energy, wings, music, and friendly people. This will be the after party after the party for my BD!!!

This is my favorite night club. It has just the right mix of old school R&B and New School music. DJ Red on the 1’s and 2’s will keep you dancing all night! Get there early or you will have to deal with a long line on Saturdays.

Live band was great. Laid back atmosphere, def an older crowd I would say 30 and up on average. I really didn’t find anything wrong. If you are one who like more of an upbeat head banging type of atmosphere you may not enjoy it though.

Friday nights are jumping. Live band, great music selections, strong drinks and a great atmosphere. This might be my new Friday hot spot.

Been here a few times with my girlfriends and i must say this is a really nice and grown &SEXY place. I enjoyed the music and crowd of people. I have been on both Saturday & Friday night. So I have been able to experience both nights. I would go back and I don’t even club anymore!

This is a nice live music dance club geared towards mature adults ages 30 – 40. I chose this place to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. It turned out pretty well. The music was good. However, I’m a little younger than the age bracket, and I quickly got tired of some of the old school songs-you know the ones that everyone wants to sing along to. I always like for the club environment to be fast and popping. I guess it was just me, because my family was singing and having a great time. We reserved a table and prices were reasonable. This is a drama-free environment. No young ones looking for trouble. Cover charge is $ 10, and if you’re not there early enough there is a parking fee. This place also gets pretty packed. Go give it a try!

I attended this place on a Saturday night and had quite an interesting experience. It got really crowded around 11 so we were lucky to have gotten there early. Between the band and the dj the music is OK. Its get better the later it gets. I saw several parties there celebrating birthdays and they have a nice space for that if you reserve it. The food looked good also although I didn’t try any. I would say this is not the place for a early 20’s though as the crowd and a lot of the music is older. Maybe I’ll be back in a few years ;)

This place is very interesting. We came here late on Saturday night and they had a live band. I felt as though the band missed out on practice because they only mumbled the hooks to like ten songs. I felt like I was listening to a mixtape but I will say this their effort was on point because everyone was dancing and having a good time. I was enjoying myself and the crowd. It is a mixture young and old in this place but the majority seemed to be 30 plus. Everyone was enjoying themselves. I even noticed that you could smoke cigars in the back area. I didn’t think that this place should have charged a cover at least not a $ 10 cover. It definitely gets crowded. We were there around midnight and we could barely move around the place. All in all I enjoyed myself and the music the DJ played and the band well they were okay when they knew the words to the songs.

Parking: Hard to find parking on a Saturday night and I’m always hesitatnt to park at the motel in back. Cover: Around $ 10 Drinks: Roughly $ 6 each but good and not watered down Music: THEBESTPARTABOUTSTONETRAILISTHEMUSIC! Half DJ and half live band. Old school and new school. Dancing: Relatively small dance floor but enough room to dance. Crowd: All black. Median age around 35

I LOVELOVELOVE this place. Stone Trail has a grown and sexy vibe, but not so grown and sexy where people are too cute to dance, and looking at everyone else and what they have on, what kind of car they are driving, etc. The drinks are moderately priced but STRONG, the DJs are excellent, the live band is GREAT, and people actually DANCE here. The music is mostly for the 30 plus crowd — with a few recent hits thrown in. A time or two, I haven’t eaten dinner before heading out for the evening, and ordered food here. It’s not superb — its standard bar food — but I will say it comes out hot, fresh, and fast(get the fried shrimp) — and the food is decent. One of the things I really respect about this place — the owner is very friendly and always make sure his guests are happy. The one thing I DON’T like — Saturday nights after 12am are SUPER crowded… barely enough room to move, much less dance. If you want to sit, get here early — I’d say before 10:30. I really really wish the owner would expand and make this a larger club. If you’re in Dallas, check it out if you haven’t been!

I haven’t had the food because I haven’t experienced a normal restaurant atmosphere. The Saturday night live band and DJ experience are an amazing experience, however. On Saturday, this place is FUN!!! The band, Don Diego, and the DJ, Mr. Phreeze, are a great combo. Unlike most places where the band plays until a certain time and the DJ takes over, this combo keeps a consistent flow of music going with the DJ even blending with the band as they go into their breaks. The band will then blend with the DJ going back into their sets. My first time there, I didn’t even get off the dance floor! My issue is the size of the place. It’s a restaurant so I know I can only expect so much in terms of the size but it gets extremely cramped in the place. Can’t blame ‘em for making a buck, huh? :-) The other cool thing is the drinks are affordable. A friend of mine, who moved here from NYC, ventured in with me; and she had NO complaints about the drink prices. In fact, I had to make stop buying drinks for the hell of it. LOL I’ll be back.

This review is for the club experience, not the restaurant or food. The live band was great, the drinks were EXPENSIVE. By 11pm this place was packed. I’d say about 1% of the patrons were caucasian. The other 99% black. $ 10 cover /person and no sneakers. Also don’t forget anything in your car, once in you’re staying in unless you want to pay another $ 10 cover.
