Subway

Its a shame that this subway has to be by far the worst subway I have ever been to because it is the closest one to me. No one there could care less about me (the customer). They never get the toppings right because when I tell them what I want, they are usually arguing with someone else behind the counter with them so they do not hear a word I tell them. There is only one guy that worked there that actually puts the correct amount of toppings… it is hilarious, a third of my sandwich usually does not have anything in but bread and cheese… not even lettuce on the last couple inches or so on each end!!! I rarely ever go there anymore because if they are so extremely cheap with two cents of lettuce on a roast beef sandwich they charge $ 7.75 for, I am concerned about other ways they save money. After my last experience I will never go back again which prompted this review!!!
I asked them if the olive oil is 100% olive oil or mixed (I already know the answer)…the woman said 100% olive oil. I asked her if I can see the container with the ingredients on it and she said no she cannot show it to me. I asked why and she said she doesnt have any bottles left. Hahahahaha… why lie??? Fact is Subways Olive oil is 90% CANOLA OIL and only 10% Olive oil. I was told all of the Subways use the same oil. After it was discovered that they use azodicarbonamide in their bread I checked into the olive oil and vinegar as well. I cannot imagine what other garbage is in their meats and sauces??? If you feel like some Subway, the other Addison location is so much better… their sandwiches are complete, not ¹⁄₃ empty!!!

The woman who rang me up was very very rude because the minute I walked into the store she had to put whoever she was talking to on hold! She was basically rushing me from the start to pick my toppings and bread and she was choosing the toppings with out asking me if I wanted them. I had to keep telling her, «No, not lettuce, no Swiss, provolone cheese instead and so on. To top it off she had long hair in a ponytail and no hair net. She did not look clean at all and the sweater she wore on top of her uniform was dirty. She rushed me through everything and got back to the phone call basically kicking me out with her stare. Ive been here before and another guy has taken care of me, he was fine, if this woman is here. I’m never buying a thing!

I love the lady in the morning, she is always friendly and makes me really feel like she looks forward to seeing me. There is another girl in the afternoon I don’t really care for her attitude but I guess you can’t expect everyone to understand that good customer service means smiling and not talking to other employees in a foreign language while in front of customers. The food is always as good as you can expect from a subway.

I used to live less than a block from this Subway, so it gets a bonus star for nostalgia. It’s the place where I had my very first meatball sub as a young’un and it’s the place where my palette matured enough to appreciate the delicate and complex taste of the Italian BMT. It’s a standard Subway in most respects — so expect low prices and a good sandwich made to order and, if so desired, toasted to perfection.
I know not why, but the cookies here were always just a little bit better than at any other Subway.
