Tailgaters

I frequent tailgater’s more than a few days out of the week. Went in tonight to find out that I have been banned from this establishment. The reason? My coworker and I were told we were seen on camera ‘skate boarding’ on top of the bar.
This is not only absurd, but also stupid. I’m pretty pissed about this because, I don’t own a skateboard first, and second I’m much more respectful than to skate on a bar much less be on top of the bar.
I hope this situation can be worked out, because we come here and support this company and always tip the bartenders well. But this is just down right stupid and wrong.
Please don’t support this lying company.

DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR!!! Worse service possible! You will end up waiting quiet some time for your drink to arrive even if you’re the only person in there! This bar clearly doesn’t have any kind of management there! It is usually slow around 10 ppl even on the weekends so pretty boring!
The owner and manager are gone for the most part of the day and there is usually one bartender there trying to run the place!
There has been numerous occasions where I got charged for extra drinks and been given the wrong change back! The bartenders like to be sneaky and add a few drinks on your tab or steal some of your change to keep as their top!
Be aware do not get scammed by this place, plenty of other better establishments around the Addison area

A pretty big bar with a long ass bar. It wasn’t busy when we decided to stop by to check it out. It’s a smoker’s paradise but I’m impressed with their exhaust. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. Fyi, if you order crown and coke they will itemize and charge you for crown $ 4.50 and coke for 75c. So don’t freak out if you have a lot of items on your receipt.

Cheap drinks, USB ports at the bar to charge your phone, and excellent people watching. Sold.

I seem to be echoing a lot of other reviewers. This place is potentially a good place, but just misses the mark.
The beer is cheap on Saturday/​Sunday (as of March 2015), as they have $ 2 domestics. That’s good and all, but good luck flagging somebody down to take your order. There were two guys… working the bar… and all the tables. There were dozens of people there… maybe not quite 100 people, but a fairly full bar. There was a waitress there earlier, but I guess her shift ended, so she left. That makes no sense to me how things could be so poorly planned, but whatever. Let me be clear that many of these people were there for poker which was clearly planned and organized for that time, so why would she leave before they get there? Moving along…
The bathroom was just pitiful. The urinals are out of order. Both of them. The toilets work I guess, but they were pretty messy. No paper towels. The soap was watered down.
Look, really, for me, none of these things are dealbreakers. I probably will go back at some point. But it’s undeniable that this place is a complete mess right now. I’m not sure whether the owners don’t pay attention or if they’re in debt or what, but it’s ridiculous to have a bathroom that messy and have only 2 guys serving the whole place (did I mention one of them is supposedly new?).
Everything else you can see in the pictures and prior reviews. TV’s, pool, golden tee, etc. Nice place in some ways, but they need to get their act together.

Been a couple times during football season and no complaints. Several tvs from all angles and the food is really good!

I would not recommend this place at all. First I was there with a lot people for a birthday party/​cowboys game and one of the people there went to move his bar stool and put his finger all the way through a screw on the barstool. All they did was offer free food and drinks. Second my other friend had his credit card charged over $ 400 for a $ 200 tab plus it was just charged again today for this place. Someone there ended up with the card and tried to buy stuff at another place. When the bank contacted the bar they just hung up on the bank. So don’t touch anything there and don’t use your credit card there.

Oh, Tailgaters. I’ve been to this bar on three different occasions. It is a great place to watch a sporting event. There are televisions everywhere — typically, an excellent crowd. They have a decent selection of draft beer. However, the waitstaff is absolutely terrible. Normally, I’d chalk it up to being busy, but this last experience truly upset me.
A group of us arrived to watch the Cowboys/​Saints game. We waited at a table for over ten minutes without being greeted. I had even smiled at the waitress. Eventually, I threw in the towel and ordered food at the bar. The bartender was more than helpful. She took time away from her clients to serve us. However, when our food was ready, the waitress refused to pick-​up the order. I watched our food sit on a shelf for ten minutes. The waitress actually looked at the ticket and left the food sitting there. She opted to fold napkins instead of servicing the floor. I had to badger the bartender to pick-​up our food. I couldn’t believe the gall of the waitress.
The food was decent. It would’ve have been even better, but it was cold from sitting on the shelf. Bah! But, I will (again) give credit to the bartender (s). They smiled, offered excellent service and tried to make-​up for the horrible waitress. I feel it was unfair to them to work the entire bar while there was a fully capable waitress dawdling.
Will I go to Tailgaters again? Maybe. I do like the atmosphere. However, I will never order food or drinks from a waitress/​waiter.

Can we give a zero star review? After a 10 minute wait, we got zero service so we just left.

Horrible service! We have been sitting here for over 30 min, no waiter has stopped by our table. I had to go up to the bar to order drinks.
It’s safe to say I won’t be coming back.

I enjoy the place, but I really feel like it is about to close up shop. I’m not sure how they pay a staff because I’ve been several times in one week, and my friends and I are the only people in there besides maybe two bar regulars. Good selection of beers, but I hear the cocktails are a bit watered down. I haven’t eaten much here, just seems like typical bar food. Not bad, according to my friends. I only go for the beer, darts, pool, and foosball!

ok, so we came here w/​some friends for «adult game night»! this was an event hosted by an outside organization (not tailgaters). walked up to the door. paid the $ 10 entry fee (after it took the lady like 10 minutes to get her card swipe working). we go in… get seated & started playing a game! now, i can’t figure out for the life of me… if tailgaters knew this event was going on… why did they only have 1 server on the floor??? if there were others… they were invisible! the waiter finally came around & we were able to order drinks & my wife ordered the chicken strips & fries! the drinks came after about 5 – 10 minutes… but the food… took forever! really… it’s frozen chicken strips!!! after a while, her food finally came out… the chicken strips were piping hot… but the fries… were ice cold & hard as hell!!! are you kidding me? so i stopped the waiter & let him know… the chicken strips are good to go but the fries are old, hard & cold! he was like i’ll get you some fresh fries! cool! i know about 20 minutes if not longer passed & no fries… i stopped him & said that’s ok b/​c she was almost done eating! he was like they are coming & they only had 1 person working the kitchen… i shook my head & was like ok! another 10 – 15 minutes & he brought them out! they were fresh & hot! even though there was only 1 server… there were several people behind the bar! c’mon now! but the place was packed y’all!!! so the game night was cool, drinks were some what coming better! what got me to the highest level of pisstivity (that’s my word lol)!! we were ready to leave… i asked for my check… he brought it out & i see a charge for the fries! hell naw… you charged me for an order of fries b/​c the 1’s you brought with the chicken strips were old, hard & cold! i brought that to his attention & he took the check & my cc… fixed the ticket (swiped by cc) and brought the check back! well when he brought it back i noticed they charged me $ 5.75 for the drinks i ordered… when there was a big azz sign at the front door indicating the special for the night was «three olives vodka for $ 4»…so i told him about that. he was like «i didn’t know about that»…so he goes to get the manager (with this incorrect check in hand & he still had my cc)!! the manager comes over… i explain the deal w/​the price for the drinks… he apologized & offered to fix it & off he goes w/​the check & still my dayum cc! so follow along w/​me Unilocal… they have already swiped my card 3 times now… instead of them waiting until everything is correct on the check… they swiped it each & every time! now maybe that’s my fault, i should have gotten my cc until it was correct… but as a business… please tell me why you would swipe your customers cc knowing good & hell well they are questioning the charges!!! now the extra kicker… they charged us gratuity on the check!!! there were only 4 of us @ our table… why the gratuity? the manager said b/​c it was a large group there (which none of us came together) that’s why they included the gratuity on the checks! are you friggin kidding me?!? so my question to tailgaters «when it’s nfl sunday & you have a large crowd… do you include gratuity on those checks?» probably not!!! so here it is tuesday…1 charge has fallen off but $ 140 is still pending (waiting to fall off)…i’ve already disputed the charges w/​my bank! will i be back? not naw but hell naw!

Stopped in for lunch and had the chicken fingers and a beer– pretty delicious and very reasonably priced. Ambiance is nice and quiet during the day and our bartender was super nice.
Be warned– the buffalo sauce is a myth. It’s not buffalo. It’s Asian plum. You’ve been warned.

I went to watch a Cowboys game here with some friends and it’s pretty much your typical sports bar, nothing special. A lot of space, I DID like all of the flat screen TVs everywhere you turn, pools tables, nothing amazing.
One thing you gotta be prepared for, a lot of cigarette smoke. I went home smelling like an ashtray. Food is your regular bar food, finger foods… I had the chicken quesadillas, nothing major and they were good. You get all the fixings, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, jalapeños and they did NOT skimp on the chicken in the quesadilla. Very tasty.

Came for college football on a Saturday afternoon. Okay, whoever decided the jenga tables should be set in front of the wall of tvs, come on. Next, there was a poker tournament going on so the staff was super busy. Totally understandable, but please check on your table every half hour or so. I had to keep getting up to get my own plates, silverware, drinks, napkins, etc… When our pizza arrived, it was obvious it had been frozen only moments earlier, and was still cold. The cheese was not even melted and it was no where near what a $ 10+ pizza should’ve looked like. I had to go to the bar and ask for my check. It took me asking again and 15 min to get it. On the bill, they overcharged us on our appetizer and on each beer. But I just wanted to leave so I paid it.

Came here for the cowboys vs saints game and they had a party that booked their own private dj and they played music during most of the game. That was not a very good experience. The food was not very good at all! The only thing I could say that was good was the staff. They were all very nice and I hope that management implements some changes so that this place can become a decent place to hang out.

Meh. This place could absolutely become great, but right now it’s just not. The beer selection really didn’t seem that great, but I like dark beers and that’s pretty normal for me so I won’t hold that against them. The set up inside is actually pretty great. TVs for miles and they look great. So what makes this only a 2 star place? The frozen food! Wow it was just really obvious that everything we were served came from a box or a bag and is a frozen mess. I dunno, I would hope trying a little to make something fresh would be in the cards for a new place… but sadly it wasn’t the case. I was so disappointed that I chose to go to another bar nearby and closed out after 2 beers.
Fix your food TG!

I enjoyed myself very much until I received the tab… WAY too expensive. The shot I ordered is $ 2.50 more at a bar less than a mile away that has all, if not more, of the amenities Tailgaters has! If this place is going to stay alive they are going to have to atleast try and compete with the surrounding bars pricing. There are just too many options, particularly sports bars, in this area for their pricing to be significantly higher than everyone elses. That being said, manager was extremely nice, and all the staff was pleasant. Nice place for a change in scenery, but until they get their pricing right I will continue to frequent my current favorite watering hole.

Very cool sports bars! Plenty of TVs and tons of great food items on the menu. Services is fast and with a smile. I love the lay out with Pool tables & darts. I would recommend giving it a go since you can watch just about every football game at once from one seat!
Just one down side they do not offer pitchers oh well they do have a full bar I guess shots will have to do:-)
