The Hub Sports Bar and Grill

After searching high and low, I finally found a place that was showing the ppv boxing match (Canelo VS Cotto)… I ordered the brisket tacos and it was weird to receive tacos with coleslaw in them with a side of fries… but it was actually really good. Service was good too, thats a plus especially with how packed the place was.
Ill be back!

Didn’t get a chance to try the food but my party was a fan of the random karaōke lol. Unexpected but awesome. Laid back atmosphere and good drinks.

Awesome TVs to watch the games! Very busy for Cowboy Games and college football, so expect a little delay in food orders, but completely acceptable… As the food was delicious! I will certainly be back with friends

Awesome sports bar, awesome staff and good food! I recommend the brisket tacos and tortilla soup. Every time I come to this place I have a great time. Great atmosphere if you’re a sports fan… TVs everywhere you turn.

Met some friends there for the fights and did not notice the smoke until I saw someone exhale, that is amazing for a non-​smoker. Some friends had the brisket sandwich and some who had just eaten still got wings and finished them. I had the brisket nachos and several weak cocktails. The nachos were awesome. The service was 1000% with food, drinks & refills coming out PDQ some without asking (or for sodas) until the end of the night & check time. There seemed to be only 3 servers running full tilt so we tried not to bother them much. I will be going bacck.

Drinking my way around DFW, have been past The Hub many times and never actually been in, so me and a couple of friends tried it out.
This is your regular Addison smoky sports bar. They had a live DJ who was blasting out the tunes. Elsewhere there were plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports.
I didn’t eat but my friends had one of their burgers and commented that it was a bit bland and the bacon wasn’t very good. The size was pretty good and plenty of fries on the side.
Our server, Megs (going by the ticket) was fairly attentive except at the end and we had to flag her down to pay our tabs, otherwise no complains on service at all.
As with most places in Addison, if you have issues with smoke, this isn’t the place for you.
It seems next door they are adding on and there was a bit of a paint fume smell lingering around. With any luck that’ll all be done soon.
Overall, decent, average, nothing really stands out or makes me not want to go back though I’ll probably hold off the burger. Just need the staff to be attentive to the end.,

I had a bacon cheeseburger the burger was good, but I wish I would have just gotten a regular cheeseburger because the bacon was hard.

Stopped by during the lunch hour and there were not a lot a people here. Which was great when you want to sit down grab a bite and get out quickly.
I decided to try something new and to my surprise something that seemed so wrong tasted so good. I ordered the brisket nachos and it was a pretty good choice. Had tons of brisket, two kinds of cheese and bacon. Bacon people… Need i say more.
The portion size was more than enough for two or three people.
I also enjoyed the friendly people and staff. They were open to having conversation and cracking a few jokes.

A couple of weeks ago I met some friends at The Hub for some drinks and food. The service there is great and the bartender pours a consistently good Jack and Coke. When it was time to leave we realized that one of my friends locked her keys in the car. We tried to get them out but were not able to. I suggested that she ask the manager, Matt (?) if he could help her. He had several other things going on that night to attend to but he took the time to help her get into her vehicle so that she didn’t have to call a locksmith. Matt was very patient and wouldn’t allow us to tip him. All he asked is that we come back for a drink and/​or meal. Good food is easy to find in Addison, but good service is not. You will definitely find good food and good service at The Hub.

I can appreciate inexpensive drinks that give me a good buzz. I live close by so I think I’ll start coming here more often. I didn’t even mind that smoking is permitted; the place has a nice size to it and high ceilings, so you won’t be bothered too much .
I had a Caesar salad (the lettuce was fresh), and the chicken tortilla soup. both were satisfying.

Went here to grab a drink and some food before an event nearby. Their chicken caesar salad was good, with the creamy style dressing, and the chicken was of good quality. Pretty cheap too. I think two drinks and a salad and my tab was under $ 20. I think HH wells were under $ 4 a piece. The downside, it’s in Addison so inside it smells like an old ashtray, but honestly everywhere up there smells that way. At least they have really high ceilings which made it feel a little less stuffy despite the heavy tobacco odor. Service was good once we got the waitress to notice we had shown up.

If you enjoy $ 3 wells all day on Wednesdays then this is your place. We all know Addison allows smoking, but it still doesn’t help me adjust to it any better. This place smelled. But we had a friendly waitress and a pretty darn good chicken caeser salad. Would I meet up at this bar again if I were in Addison? Totes. Especially on a Wed.

The Hub is a pretty standard sports bar in an area where there are several options. Since it was nearby our hotel, I stopped in with a friend just for a quick beer while we decided what to do next. The place has several large screens airing various sports events. I’m not much of a sports fan, but this would be a decent place to watch a game. They have food, a patio outside, and cocktail service. Our two bud lights ran about $ 9, which I think is pretty high for this type of place in this area, but it’s still not too bad. I’m not from around the area, so I probably wouldn’t not recommend it for those looking to explore more of what Addison/​North Dallas has to offer. I could see myself returning if I stayed here again and did not want to venture too far from the neighborhood.
The crowd seemed to be comprised of a few different groups of friends, and a couple single people here and there. It was not at all crowded, but the large space would be fitting for big groups of people.
Come here to watch the game or hangout with a big group of with friends. I’d recommend elsewhere if you want a quieter more intimate setting.

Great bar to watch sporting events, awesome service Brittany was our server she was on top of everything our table was always clean and drinks full great bar to just hang out also

Came here to watch the Texas Tech game and really enjoyed the experience.
Great food: really enjoyed the veggie quesadillas — they were packed with peppers, onions, cheese, zucchini etc and were tasty and filling. The Dragonberry Flirt drink was also delicious.
Service; our server was great, and hit the right balance of checking in on us and allowing us to enjoy the game.
Atmosphere: lots of TVs that are easily accessible from every angle without having an overwhelming amount of flashing lights going on. Also pretty well lit for a bar (not seedy feeling), a mix of high and low top tables, and places to play a few games like pool or skeet ball.
Prices: decently priced at $ 32 + tip for 2 entrees, soda, cocktail, and Shiner Bock

The Hub is a place you go to watch the game and that’s about it. Screens are placed pretty much at every turn and there is ample room to accommodate large groups. The place appears small from the outside, but the inside is super spacious. During football season, it’s packed. On Saturdays, you can pretty much bet that it’s a Texas Tech crowd and on Sundays, none other than the Cowboys. They also show lots of good Pay-​Per-​View fights here.
Downside? Since it’s in Addison, you can smoke inside, making the indoor air dark and stale. Also the service is not the best. They are packed on game days so sometimes you find yourself waiting a really long time to add to your order. Other than, the food is your pretty average (but very solid) bar menu. Pass on the wings and try out the brisket nachos.

Typical sports bar except for one thing, food. I have been here over an hour and I have yet to eat anything. I realize the place is packed because of the World Cup but I only see 2 people in the kitchen for a s**tload of people. They are certainly ill-​equipped to feed people in a timely manner.
I have been to a few sports bars in my time and have never had to wait over an hour for food.
So I have now been here for an hour and 15 minutes. At the hour mark the bartender took pity on me and gave me some chips and quest that were sitting for a while in the window. I was now ready to raise the star level for her generosity. Then my sandwich came up and it was wrong. I would blame the kitchen but she showed the bartender the ticket and it showed differently than what I ordered. So the star level will stand at 2.
The only thing that can save this place is if the sandwich I ordered is the best I’ve ever had. Doubtful!
My food came out at an hour and 20 minutes. Sandwich good but fries cold. They reused the previous plate and just changed the sandwich. Bartender ordered new fries which came in 5 minutes.
The truth is the food isn’t bad and the bartenders are attentive. I will blame this bad review on management. There really were only 2 people in the kitchen to cook food for over a hundred people. Epic fail on the part of management. You should be flogged.
Too bad Unilocal doesn’t allow you to rate food, service and managements ability to schedule kitchen staff during a sporting event, separately.

Deceiving from the outside. Place is big. People are nice. Happy Hour specials all Wednesday. Brisket Nachos are good, beer is cold and a good amount of TVs and projection screens. If you are in the area stop by.

Came from Garland, since we had a coupon, and wanted to watch the Pacquio VS Bradley fight — and all of our local bars are stupid packed, and high cover charges.
We arrived, to find it in a little shopping center, but walked in and was wowed by how many TV’s and the simple fact there really isn’t a bad seat in the bar, great size, and several pool tables.
We were there about 5 hours, to ensure seating, watch the Mavs/​Rangers and the fight. So, we started with alcohol, and one thing I was disappointed in, was it showed that the Wells were 3.00 not only on the website, but even on a chalk board next to the bathroom but the waitress stated, things were being changed over and that wasn’t the price — I probably could have argued it, but chose not too.
Service was very tentative, and no complaints, we never had to ask for anything. I ordered a burger, and the bacon on it was to die for. SO thick, juicy, and plenty of it. I have never had a burger with that much bacon, and I loved it! The chips and salsa was good as well. All hot, fresh, no complaints.
I am used to Dallas, no smoking aloud, so I didn’t really care for the smoke atmosphere, but it wasn’t overwhelming — and I know, I know, It’s a bar.
Upon paying our bill, we were informed they stopped taking the coupon we had, which was a $ 25.00 value, we didn’t fuss, but the manager still went ahead and came to the table to explain it, and offered us two tequila shots as a compensation. We took it, and he explained the site we got this from, we could submit a claim and get our refund.
I will extremely satisfied, and I will make the 30 – 40 minute drive, just to go back for big sports events!
