Predators on new couples!!! They set up booths at bridal shows luring newly engaged couples in with a free cruise and other prizes. All you have to do is go sit through a seminar and listen to some creepy guy named Bruce talk about how he is accredited by the BBB and how much he loves the stupid cookware he is trying to sell you. He cooks for you and brags about how delicious it is. It’s not anything you couldn’t make in any other pots and pans, AND it’s not even that great. He doesn’t let you leave until he has a chance with every couple to give another sales pitch. His sales pitch is already signing you up to buy pots which are $ 4000. Explaining to him that we didn’t want anything didn’t work. I even left the room to read reviews and found nothing good. When I came back Bruce would barely let me talk about my doubts with my fiancé and he basically pressured us into buying two of his pots. Not a big deal? Out total was $ 800!!! Guys, you can go on two cruises with that and not have to pay for useless ugly pots. And here’s a note. There’s no refund. Once you sign you’re committed. All of our money we were given for our wedding has to go to two small, ugly pots and there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it. Save yourself a trip, money, and tears and stay away from this very skillful scam artist.

BRIDESBEWARE: I signed up at a bridal show and received a voice-mail stating I won a free vacation or $ 49,000 or a luxury vehicle and that I should call back immediately to claim my prize with my prize number. Riiiiiiight. I decided to call back anyway because, you know, «What if». BIG Mistake. During the conversation, I barely got any words out. Every time I tried to ask a question I was rudely interrupted and he just continued to talk leading me to believe this was definitely a scam. Eventually after giving me this ridiculous spiel about my «prize» he told me that all I needed to do was schedule a time to come and listen to a seminar. I never even understood what the seminar was about because again, he was avoiding(see: completely ignoring) my questions. The end of the conversation went something like this: Weird/Rude Salesman: So I know you’re excited about all of this. What day would you like to come in this week? Me: I am not available at all this week, actually. Weird/Rude Salesman: What is your work schedule? Me: Umm, I am not available during the week at all. Weird/Rude Salesman: Ok what time are you coming in this weekend? Me: I am not available this weekend. I have a previous engagement. Weird/Rude Salesman: OK so what time this Saturday? Me: I just said I’m not available this weekend. Weird/Rude Salesman: What time next Saturday can I put you down for? Me: I am not available next Saturday either, unfortunately. Can I call you back when I have my schedule in hand? Weird/Rude Salesman: So I’ll just put you on the schedule for next Saturday. Me: I am not available next Saturday. Weird/Rude Salesman: OK I’ll schedule you for next Saturday at 10AM. Yea… I was confused too. Saturday came and I got a voice-mail(because I blocked all of their numbers because yes they called NUMEROUS times) saying that I had missed my appointment and they would like to re-schedule. I called back and asked the lady to please remove my name and number from the list. I did not schedule myself for the first appointment and am therefore not interested in scheduling a second appointment. I haven’t received anymore calls as of yet and hopefully I won’t. These people are PREDATORS. I’m so happy I wasn’t pressured into attending the seminar or I would have wasted an entire day. AVOID these people like the plague.
