I wish I could have given this a stronger rating, but it wouldn’t be honest. A very lovely setting on the edge of Monkey Island’s southeast bank. Nicely built with all the boat services and friendly staff. However, as friendly as the staff may be, they are very young and quite inexperienced. The food was slightly better than expected, but has great room for improvement. It’s loaded with hospitality, and amenities. A nicely built, lighted runway, plenty of boat slips, several fuel pumps, and an eager staff, ready to serve. A full service bar, and a hotel is in construction. If you’ve been out on the lake all day, it’s a perfect place to take a break.

Pleasant surprise! restaurants on Grandlake are definitely hit and miss! We came by boat and it was nice to have Dock hands meet us! This is three businesses all located on the water. They have the marina with fuel and a very nice and well stocked ship store. A small bar that was full and everybody seem to be happy. We sat outside on the patio and had good service and really good food! We had boneless wings for an appetizer while not as good as Buffalo wild wings they were similar with the sauces. We split a grilled chicken breast sandwich with pepper jack cheese, fresh guacamole on a jalapeño bun! 2 beers and food $ 35… Fair deal! They were very busy and my only critique would be they needed a full-time Buser to keep the tables and chairs cleaned off quickly and the place picked up!

Just got a dissertation from the bartender because my taste are a bit to high brow for this establishment. Carrying local beers and offering handmade cocktails is not unreasonable. Nor is it acceptable for a bartender to tell me «your at the lake» and to settle for bud light and roses terribly soured margaritas. Customer service is foremost if you don’t have it choose your words carefully don’t alienate the customer with taste outside your own. FYI slow service. Order mis made and despite server being aware of mistake still brought out to me. Bottom line 75% menu fried typical uninspired rural food perpetuated by a staff who thinks that’s okay.
