Ann Taylor

The is my first review ever. Usually I don’t bother to post but this time I think I have to. Just came from the Ala Moana Ann Taylor store. They had 6 black and 2 white blouses hanging on the 60% off rack. When I went to purchase the blouse I was told that the blouse is not 60% off because it was a new arrival. I told them that all the blouses are hanging on the 60% off rack. Cashier lady (very unfriendly) went to talk to the manager, she refused to honor discount. Manager didn’t even bother to come out. I am a regular customer there, very disappointing.

Never shopping at Ann Taylor ever again. I love the clothes but not the workers. The women who work both at the Pearlridge and Ala Moana stores are not friendly at all. I’ve made a complaint to Corporate and they too aren’t compassionate so I’m banning even the online ordering. Why should I give them my business when they don’t treat their customers with a friendly attitude.

Ann Taylor is my FAVORITE store. Since its facelift a few years ago, the brand has transformed from «Mom Clothes» to youthful and fresh, all while retaining its classic and professional qualities. I love shopping at Ann Taylor for both work and play.
The Pearlridge location is far smaller than the Ala Moana store. Ala Moana’s clearance section alone could take up at least ¼ of the Pearlridge location. Despite the size difference, and subsequent decrease in inventory, this location has all the same styles, sizes, and promotions. I sometimes prefer shopping at the Pearlridge one because I feel like I am provided with more attention from the salespeople and a more relaxed atmosphere to shop.
Ann Taylor can be on the pricey end, but if you sign up for their email promotions, you will quickly notice that they have some sort of promotion weekly. I always hold off for the 50% Off Sale promotions. Even better, if you have an AT card, you get many opportunities to save on top of savings! And you can pay your bill right in the store!

This store is much, much smaller than the Ala Moana branch. Which essentially means less choices.
Ann Taylor is one of my favorite stores to shop for business attire. The styles are chic and timeless. They have a special BOGO sale going on now and if you are interested in signing up for their brand credit card, you will receive 15% off.

Luv Ann Taylor for it’s classic & trendy business apparel. Lots of good deals on the sales racks and the staff are always pleasant. While I’ll always stop here if I’m @ the mall, I couldn’t give it more stars knowing other ATs exist with so much more.

The epitome of classy and tasteful clothing usually has the initials A.T. on it. I like Ann Taylor for their ability to sell both sexy (but not trashy) dresses to business suits and blazers.
They also carry jewelry, shoes and on some occasions, perfumes.
I’ve only purchased tops, skirts and pants here. The discount rack offers anywhere from 25% to 50% off. I haven’t seen anything more than 50% off but I am not a regular shopper at Ann Taylor. I only come here when I need something.
Last week I needed a very professional looking blazer. I spent over an hour in the store as I couldn’t decide between one blazer over another but didn’t like the price tags on them (each were over a hundred dollars a piece).
I saw a grey silk undershirt I wanted to buy to wear under the blazer, since it seemed light and Hawaii is so hot but it cost $ 60.00 and it was dry clean only. I didn’t want to spend that much on a top that would be obscured under a blazer anyway.
I decided to go elsewhere because I didn’t want to spend over $ 200 on a blazer and silk undershirt that required dry cleaning.
I ended up going to Macy’s for my blazer ($ 60) and Ross Dress for Less for a similar undershirt — it was not silk but I was pleased with the color and fit ($ 10.99).
Ann Taylor gets credit however, for having a really nice selection with some of the most flattering fitting clothes I’ve ever worn. I love their petite section, which is perfect for most of Hawaii’s clientele, myself included.
If money were no object, I’d be buying most of my clothing here.
