Delicious food! I’m from the SF Bay Area and I wish we had something close to this place back home!

This is one of my favorite ramen places. Good $$, usually quiet, efficient staff, and never saw a fly. I usually order their three item combo since I come hungry and a little bit of everything makes it easier to decide what I want. Most dishes are $ 6-$ 8.50. They’ve added more combos such as curry specials, udon, and garlic shrimp ramen. Seat yourself, they’re quick to clean the tables. Counter seats can have self-serve water(I always love self serve on water). Its really slow right now(2pm on Thursday) with only one other person waiting for their meal. I got my food before I finished writing this review. I think the bathroom is outside of the store. I’ve never had the urge to go while eating here so I’m not entirely sure.

1st time eating here with the family. It was super cheap and the food is delicious. The guy makes it in front of you and it’s fast. It’s not a super fancy place, but simply a delicious hole-in-the-wall for ramen and rice plates. I was fulfilled and had a lot of leftovers for less than $ 30. Recommended to give it a try.

We were looking for a place for ramen and read great reviews about this place. What great food and service. The waitress help us decide what to order. It’s the best ramen I have ever had !

Love the combos. Cami’s combo can feed two people for $ 10.25. A/c eating area is a plus with outside seats for I’m-too-cold-poeple. Service is fast and efficient.

Amazing! Best Ramen house on the island. We love local hole in the wall types of places and Li and Chang just made us regulars. Got the wonton combo with gyoza and fried rice. Rice was amazing and made right in front of us. Gyoza was flavorful and a good portion. The wonton was made right and the Ramen was awesome. Huge portions. Great price at $ 10. Perfect lunch spot. Will definitely be back!

Just came here to eat the other day. Food was great. Staff didn’t seem to understand much English. We had water as our beverage and there was something in all our water. She made us new water and it had the same problem. Whatever it was, it was caused by the ice. So we had to drink our water with no ice. That freaked me out, probably won’t go back here for a while.

Wow! First time eating there and was VERY impressed. Spent $ 10.99(plus tax) and got a large bowl of saimin(ramen) AND a large serving of mochiko chicken with curry over rice. PLUS, a side of gyoza! The food was AMAZING. Now all they gotta do is offer cots or sleeping mats and you’d be set for a kanak attack. I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

Great value– I always order the three item combo with beef curry, fried rice, and gyoza. My husband always orders the garlic shrimp ramen, which is really yummy, even to me and I’m not much of a ramen fan. Nice staff. The older lady with a bun is always very attentive and friendly. Good ambiance. It’s not overly loud or pretentious, comfortable atmosphere, albeit on the small side. I highly recommend it, if you are looking for a low key restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. :)

I haven’t been here for a couple years but the food is still good! My go to dish is the chicken katsu curry. The curry is nice and spicy with hearty veggies and the katsu is crispy. Generous portions too! The fried rice yakisoba and gyoza are pretty good too.

THISISHANDSDOWNMYABSOLUTEFAVORITERAMENPLACE! Forget about Ramen Ya, you gotta come here. I’m a regular here and out of all the places I’ve tried on the island, this Ezogiku is the bestest I’ve ever tasted, it’s hard to enjoy other Ramen joints because nothing compares to this place. Its a small restaurant but It’s very laid back and it’s easy to feel comfortable here. The oldest worker lady there(not sure of her name) I think she’s the owner but she’s my favorite because she is always nice. The food comes fast and the prices are great. You can get a combo of a Mini ramen, gyoza, and a Katsu curry dish for under 11 dollars. They have a good variety and many combos so that means many options. I leave full and satisfied every single time :) If you’re on the search for the best Ramen on the island, highly recommend this ezogiku be sure to give it a try!

This is my husband’s favorite ramen shop. He typically orders the Shio ramen and I normally get the mini shrimp fried rice. He says Ezogiku noodles are the best! I like the shrimp fried rice because it always has this nice toasty/slightly charred flavor to it. The shop is on the small side with some tables and a counter. The people here(the owners?) are nice and efficent while giving you space to enjoy your meal. As someone who isn’t a vegetarian but enjoys having vegetarian options, I wish they had a few more choices on the menu.

Walked in around 8pm and there was only 1 couple inside. This place is in a sketch looking area. That could be why? The ramen was bland and noodles tasted too eggy if that makes sense. I should’ve known better when the owner and I believe his wife were talking Chinese. Chinese people cooking and serving Japanese food is a little weird. I am half of both cultures and I still think its weird. Against everything in my head telling me not to, I decide to give Ezogiku a try because I was craving ramen. I am going to assume that this place was originally owned and opened by a Japanese family and they retired and sold it to the current Chinese family. I ordered a combo set with gyoza and curry. The only thing that I can say was good was the curry. It was a little thick, maybe too much corn starch but it still had good flavor. The ramen and the broth tasted like noodles in water with a little salt for flavor. I saw pictures of mochiko chicken covered in curry. Sounded good but I can only imagine how soggy the chicken would get and the dish would just be curry chicken with a little batter mixed in. Doesn’t sound too appetizing to me but hey for the courageous I say go for it. Would I come back if I’m on the island??? Probably not unless I want curry, but I am sure there are better placesfor that.

Small Japanese/Chinese restaurant located in this shopping center in Aiea side. It’s known for its yummy combo meals I think. Decent price and good food. I order a veggie seafood noodle soup. It was decent size and portion. My bf had the mochiko chicken with gyoza and miso soup(combo). The food was pretty good. Noodle was yummy. Not too salty just right. My noodle soup is starchy because of the sauce. But there is some soupy flavor in it.

Hole in the wall, but a great local business to support. It is a small restaurant with only a handful to tables and located in the Waimalu shopping center. It can get quite hot because there is an open kitchen, but I think that is a great entity because they are willing to let the customers see exactly how they prepare the food without hiding behind a closed door. Friendly to all ages. I ordered the spicy ramen, which was quite spicy and tasted like home. I was happy to find that not only was I given the standard noodles and broth, but there were also vegetables, shrimp and meat. My grandpa ordered the shoyu ramen whose broth was very flavorful and he finished the entire dish! I could not finish mine because the portions of ramen entrees are big! We also shared the gyoza — fantastic. Ambiance: Louder than average, rough around the edges in a good way Service: Prompt and personal Food: If you are looking for an unpretentious joint — this is a winner. Food that tastes like your grandma could’ve cooked it up with love with fair prices.

We’ve been to just about every restaurant in this«restaurant row», but never Ezogiku so we thought we’d give it a try. Pulled up a seat, perused the menu for awhile, then I was stuck… half of my opu was screaming RICE! Half of my opu screamed RAMEN… Luckily for me, the lady behind the counter pointed to the specials board where there was a special combo featuring Shoyu Ramen, Gyoza and a Chicken Katsu Curry… SOLD! I figured they would be mini portions, but boy was I wrong! all this food was enough for two. The Ramen came first and the noodles were perfect without being mushy. The Broth was delicious and the Char siu was a nice bonus. The Gyoza and Katsu Curry came next. Crisp outside and juicy inside, the Gyoza disappeared pretty quickly. The Katsu Curry was just as good with a nice heat. The pickled veggies added a nice compliment. All this food for just under $ 11 wasn’t too shabby at all. This has been added to my restaurant choices when I’m in the Waimalu Shopping Center… ALOHA!!!
