I love Gap clothes, especially the baby section. However, the last time I went, I could not get anyone to help me out. The store was empty and 4 employees were grouped together talking story. They all made eye contact with me and yet no one could even muster a smile or a hello. Geez… customer service nowadays. They were more interested in talking about what happened the weekend before at the club. I left there disappointed. I would rather drive out to Waikele Old Navy than come back here again.

I’ve been to this location a few times. This is considered a hit or miss place for me. I rarely find anything that I like here. The sizing is off compared to other stores so if I want to feel skinny I’ll buy here since I have to go a size down hahaha.

Cutest baby clothing, made of some softer cottons. The girl dresses are not too girly and very trendy. I bought some tights for my baby girl, can’t wait to see her wear it.

It’s very, very rare that I visit Pearlridge. I used to frequent this mall often during high school, but that’s only because it was close to home and my dad could drop me and my friends off. Nowadays, I hardly ever come to this mall unless: 1) I need to return something and I’m too lazy to drive into town because the item I bought was from Ala Moana OR 2) I need to kill time. This visit was option #2, and I just happened to wander into Gap since I had nothing better to do. During today’s visit, I felt like St. Peter had given me the ok to enter the gates of heaven. In this case, the«gates» would be the entrance to gap, and«heaven» would be the sale rack. Good grief, I was definitely surprised at the selection and quantity of the clothes on the sale and clearance racks. Like Thomas O wrote, there’s definitely«good pickings» at this location. Anything and everything was on the sale racks: Jeans, sweats, dress shirts, t-shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc. You name it, that piece of clothing was on the rack. When I peruse sale racks, I honestly like to take my time to go through everything, this is so I don’t miss any good bargains. Alas, I didn’t have enough time to look through everything, but rest assured, I will return! As far as selection for the clothes not on sale, either they have more selections at this store OR it just looks like they do because things are more spread out. In any case, I saw some shirts that I didn’t see on my last visit to the Ala Moana store.

I have to admit, I like this location way better than Ala Moana. For some reason their inventory is geared more for the working customer – stocking way more items like khakis, dress shirts, and dress socks. I guess it’s closer to their suburban clientele? They always have relatively good pickings in their clearance/sale racks – especially for guys which is sadly nonexistent at AM. WTF right? One time found 3 dress shirts and a pair of khakis for under $ 50. I’m sure it was a fluke, but I always hope it will happen again. Especially since I keep effing up my nice work shirts from Club Monaco(which I need to revisit soon, I heard they have a sale). Yesterday I came in to get some pantses for school and work. Their classic straight fit Khakis are a dream just a tad too long. (hey grandma, can hem my pantses?) Tried on one of their dress shirts, but was a little disappointed! It was snug around the chest but it looked very fitted. I knew I wouldn’t like not having to breathe though-so, pass! Gap from 2008… please make a come back. I liked you a lot more then! Hmph. – I’ve also noticed that everytime I stop by, all of the associates, whom are nice, are always different. Either they are fully staffed or are always turning employees. I hope its not the latter.
