I ordered two bowls of String Bean Chicken Breast with brown rice. When the server began scooping fried rice, I asked, «Is that brown rice?» She replied, «Yes.» I took her word for it. When my wife and I started eating the rice, it wasn’t brown rice and the fried rice was difficult to eat, as if the rice had not been fully cooked. I returned both bowls to the counter, told the new server that we asked for brown rice and that the fried rice was hard to eat. I got the brown rice I wanted and my wife switched to steamed vegetables. However, the vegetables were still raw and were difficult to eat. I give it one star because the String Bean Chicken Breast was good and another star for them trying to resolve my problem. But I’d be hesitant to visit this Panda Express again.

Ladies were nice but I’m not sure how you could have crunchy fried rice. Luckily I only had the Panda Bowl so I ate my deliciously stale Orange Chicken and chucked the old, crunchy, dried up rice out away. Gotta love mall food.

Love to eat at Panda Express but this location, I’m not too keen on. Staff not friendly and portions smaller than other locations.

RUDECUSTOMERSERVICE! It took two employees plus MANAGER to help the lady in front of me that had THREE plates. Upon my arrival, I saw how they were treating the lady before me. They were rushing her and you can hear in the employees voice that she was annoyed helping this customer. One employee took the initiative to help me but when my order was made, she left my plate at the register. You would think atleast one of them would help someone standing at the register. But no. Instead they stared at me like I was dumb. ALLTHREEOFTHEM! Oh and just because I don’t speak your native tongue, doesn’t mean I can’t understand you.

It’s 3pm on a Friday and they ran out of everything… Have to wait 5 minutes for anything I wanted to order, this is so wrong! Maybe I’ll come back, maybe not.

I always get the orange chicken — yummy. Jeff and I also like the beijing beef and broccoli beef. We always order the chow fun. Their fried rice is rather bland.

I’ll keep this rather short, but Panda’s is one of my favorite mall food court joints to hit up! They are most famous for their orange chicken, but I almost always order their ginger fish and fried rice! It’s very light and easy on the stomach, and I don’t feel extremely guilty after pulverizing my plate when I’m done! Every so often it seems that they create a new food dish, and for the most part it never disappoints. But sometimes I wonder if it’s BECAUSE it’s a new food dish, or if it’s actually pretty good. Service is so-so, but what do you really expect from a mall food court restaurant? Expectations should never be high, but fortunately for Panda’s(as well as myself) I have never come across bad service. Majority of the food is based off one, two, or three entrée choice plates, but they do serve bowls and ala carte! And they also do catering, but no delivery. Their prices range from about $ 8 to $ 12 a plate depending on your food choices. Also, any seafood entrée is an additional $ 1.00/$ 1.25, but don’t quote me on the exact price for that! Lastly, they always give you a fortune cookie with your plate, and that just so happens to be one of my favorite things about Panda’s! Overall if you’re looking to try something a bit asian that’s quite filling, this would be your go-to spot at Pearlridge(uptown).

I would have to say, that I still have yet to be wow’ed by Panda Express. I mean their food is ok, but for. some reason their chow fun is always tasteless. I ran I know they don’t use msg, but that excuse. I mean everything else taste good. I always get beef broccoli and mushroom chicken, which I really like. And I think the shrimp with Angus steak is great. Even their chicken egg rolls. are good. Just the chow fun needs more flavor. Maybe I just miss Patti’s Chinese restaurant, which closed up shop and now Panda Express occupies the space. Just average Chinese fast food, and I’ll just leave it at that.

After studying, we ate at Panda Express. The line was long by the time we got there but it was moving. They moved quickly as they asked us what we wanted. Their chow mein and orange chicken tasted yummy. The fried rice, meh not so much.

This Panda Express location is aight. I kind of miss Patti’s Chinese Kitchen that used to be here but I guess Panda’s will do the trick. I don’t think it’s really different from the one in downtown side. This one is located in the uptown side of Pearlridge Shopping Center. It is right next to Tilt and Yummy’s Korean BBQ around the food court area obviously. They offer you some samples just like any other Panda’s food stand. The best time of buy is in the late morning time maybe one hour before noon or during the mid afternoon time. Those are the times when it’s not so busy. However, if they are busy they move quick and get you in and out like that. There was this one time when I didn’t recieve a fortune cookie. I wonder if they have a policy to that just like how they have their receipts, if you don’t get one then your meal is free. I think the same policy rule applies to if you don’t get a fortune cookie then your meal’s free. Fortune cookies along with the meal is just a must even though it is complimentary, it completes the meal. The surveys that they have you do for a free entrée item is worth it. You can save that entrée item and eat it for later if you like. That’s what I do. 31 Unilocal Review Challenge — October 2012, #31/31

Ordered noodles, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp(my usual). It took a while but they did give extra food for the wait(more than I could eat). Food was yummy!

I’ll give the food 3.5 stars, the 2 is for the service. I was next in line(BIGSIGNS saying«LINESTARTSHERE») & as I patiently waited along came a group of high school aged girls, walked right to the cashier, ordered, and got their food before me. There were 2 girls behind the counter, so it would’ve been nice if at least one of them took my order instead of all of them having a conversation… customer service is crucial… to me anyways.

For fast food Chinese… Panda is great! Here’s why… 1. Consistency — No matter what panda you go to, the food tastes the same. Good! 2. Samples — They let you sample anything 3. Their hot sauce is delicious 4. Every time you go there you get a receipt with a survey on the back. Do the survey and you get one free entrée with your next 2 entrée purchase. 5. You’ll be full after eating a 3 entrée plate. 6. You get a fortune cookie. 7. It’s a good price. 8. You get your food really fast. 9. Lastly… the panda bear is so cuuuute! Haha! My suggestions: chicken and mushrooms and orange chicken Now don’t you want some Panda??? =)

As far as buffet style Chinese take out spots go, Panda is pretty cut and dry. It’s very WISIWIG… what I see is what I get. There are a few items that i love there… the Orange Chicken is yummy, the Honey Walnut Prawns are decent too. Love the little cream puff jammies that they offer for dessert. Only problem is that the food isnt always the freshest. What can you expect for buffet warmers, right? Good value for the price and when you want to grab something on the fly, this is a good option. Wish they had more vegetarian items.

This Panda Express is located Downtown at Pearlridge Center. I hardly eat here(because Yummy’s and Tsuruya usually get my cash!) but I’ve eaten here a few times… I prefer the Uptown location though. The staff is friendly and they have the standard dishes that you’d probably find at all the Panda Express locations throughout the states. The fried rice and chow fun are really good… I don’t care for the chow mein. The chicken with mushrooms and honey walnut shrimp never disappoint! My boyfriend really loves the new«ginger fish»(fish changes daily) but you do pay an additional $ 1 for this entrée as well as an additional $ 1 for any shrimp entrée. The orange chicken is pretty good as well as is the sweet fire chicken breast(which is basically chicken tossed with Mae Ploy sauce). The food is consistently good and you always get a fortune cookie with your meal.

A tip for all you healthy AND hungry folks… this is what i order one large side of mixed veggies $ 4.00, a small side of chicken with green beans $ 3.50. Go home pull out a big bowl throw the mixed veggies in strain the water but dont throw it away. throw the chicken with green beans on it. Now remember the water you strained i mix in 2 packets of the chili sauce gives it a kick and some acidity, mix it together and dump it over the top. Its good i promise its good. 9 oz of veggies 0.5 grams of fat 70 calories 6 oz chicken with string beans 7 grams of fat 170 calories almost 1 lb of food 7.5 grams of fat and 240 calories at $ 7.85(thats after tax!) anyways that just my healthy eating tip

This is the second Panda Express location to open up at Pearlridge Center. This one opened in the food court on the Uptown side(Macys side). The staff at this location are very friendly and great customer service. The food in the display case are in much smaller trays than how other Panda Express locations so I feel that the food is a lot fresher. The food does seem much more appetizing with this presentation and tastes fresher too! Ask for a sample, they are more than happy to let you sample anything! My recommendations… honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken and eggplant tofu to name a few. This location also has brown rice for you healthy folks too(the Downtown location does not). With this location open, I don’t eat at the Downtown location anymore. On a side note… this Panda took over the spot where Patti’s used to be(I miss Patti’s). ^_^*~

I love Panda Express and here is why… The consistency — This company has its processes down to a science. If you’ve been to one Panda Express you may as well have been to all of them. The quality of their food is uniform across all their locations. The Sampling — You can sample almost anything. The Orange Chicken — It is amazingly good. I ordered it for years before I risked ordering something else for fear that it wouldn’t be as good. I feel like buying into Panda based on the Orange Chicken alone. The Innovation — For a chain restaurant they keep coming up with good innovative dishes. The Beijing Beef and Sweetfire chicken are new and good additions to their menu. The Plate Sizes — There’s an option no matter how hungry you are. One entrée aka«The Panda Bowl» is what I usually get. It is usually just enough to fill me up. There are two and three entrée plates. Both of these are too much food for me, but the’re there if you need them. The Freshness — It looks like everything is made on site. The food moves so fast that they are often cooking up a new batch of something in the wok. You can see these big bins of vegetables they have in the freezer. Come to think of it all restaurants should have bins of uncooked vegetables somewhere in view. It gives me that«ahhh the food here is fresh» feeling. Free Fortune Cookies — Every plate comes with one. I have this thing for the fortune. I love the power of positive thinking. I probably take the fortune way too seriously. To Love S. I say«hey babe, relax». Your fortune didn’t say long term success wasn’t in your future. Just that now is probably a good time make sure your plans are aligned with your long term success goals. There are two things here I don’t like. 1. They sell these chocolate chip cookies at the register. They suck. One costs over a dollar and its all hard and crappy. For the same price you can walk over to McDonalds or Subway and get three cookies that are way better. 2. They have pepsi products here. I efff-ing hate pepsi and love Coke. So much that I have to walk over to Yummies to buy my drink. But if you like pepsi I guess you’re fine at this place.
