this subway has the slowest workers I’ve ever encountered. they move like some people aren’t on break trying to get their lunch. the door is constantly beeping regardless if someone is in the door way or not. it will continue to beep if it’s open. and it’s ANNOYING. its ridiculously cold in here! decently made sandwich though, maybe hire some fast younger works?

Waited way to long in line. The two girls who were making sandwiches were taking their sweet time. Worst subway experience I’ve ever had.

This is the Subway at the lower part of Pearlridge. Service is always excellent, very nice people. Tried the Turkey Italiano Melt, very yummy!

The food is pretty good but they lack in the cookie department. They were running low on cookies, and we asked when they were making the next batch. The workers weren’t sure when but said that maybe after the bread was done baking…

The best service I ever had under $ 20.

Flatizza 2 for $ 6, finally tried it the other day. Its the flat bread with tomato sauce with pepperoni and cheese. I liked it and also my son. Don’t think I will try it again, I prefer the Italian BMT sandwich. I usually go McDonalds first to get the $ 1 large drink, then order my Subway. The past few times I’ve been here no line or just one person ahead of me.

This Subway is pretty good I would say. This one is located inside Pearlridge Shopping Center in the uptown Phase 1 side at the Food Court. It is conveniently right next to Bautista’s Filipino Kitchen and the soon to be L&L Hawaiian BBQ formerly Carl’s Jr. It’s also right across from many other surrounding food establishments. The staff and customer service is good. Like all the other Subways they have different promotions going on for the sandwiches and themes. I really like it when they had the Avocado Superfoods theme for the sandwiches. The best time to order is in the morning time I would say because of course everything is so fresh and so clean during that time. This is also very obvious for other food places as well. The prices are decent. They have specials for certain sandwiches that are bundled in combo specials and everything whether it is footlong or 6 inches long. Sometimes they have BOGO promotions and specials as well. If you order water instead of a drink for a combo it would be 50 cents more so pretty much there are no substitutions for the drink option. 31 Unilocal Review Challenge — October 2012, #22/31

Went shopping with Daddy and we needed lunch so we decided to eat in the food court at Uptown Pearlridge. I got Panda Express and Daddy wanted Subway. His favorite sandwich is the«cold cut combo» which has ham, salami, and bologna. Just so happens Subway had it’s $ 26-inch sub offer(apparently in Hawaii it’s $ 3!)… so he got that sandwich. The staff behind the counter were very friendly and they dressed the sandwich with a decent amount of veggies. He didn’t want a drink or chips so he only got the sandwich. I did notice that the prices here a little more than other Subways… by $ 1 a so. What gives?!

Wrong decision to come here. Knowing what to expect from Subway franchises, this experience left me feeling violated. The Monk-looking middle-aged man behind the counter behaved as if I was a prisoner and he was the tired old cafeteria lady. Somehow, and I’m not sure how this happens in a franchise, my bread was crooked! Like a conical jester hat, my fat to skinny sandwich was barely covered by the paper wrapping, resulting in a lewd cornucopia of vegetables scattered throughout the table when I opened it. I was forced to collect the sticky sandwich contents and stuff them back into the sandwich with my sauce-covered fingers. And just a note: how can they bake the bread crookedly if it comes mass produced? On point was the extreme rudeness of the man, the fact that he didn’t ask me what vegetables I wanted, worked like a maniac throwing things everywhere, not bothering to distribute them across the entire sandwich, making me interject that I wanted my sandwich toasted(he didn’t as), literally throwing my credit card back to me after swiping it, and using my receipt as a projectile which he left on the counter. He left my sandwich on the counter and forgot to hand me my cookies, which I had to reach around behind the cash register to get myself. He crumpled my napkin into a ball before shoving into the plastic bag with my disheveled mutant sandwich. So many negative things happened in my 3 minutes inside this Subway it’s hard to believe it!

This location is located in the Uptown Pearlridge food court. The workers here are not friendly. The most recent time I came here, the girl looked irritated to help me since she was talking story with her friend at Carl Jr’s next door and I interrupted her. Also the amount of veggies was very small on my sandwich and it’s not the first time. The prices are higher in the mall than at free standing Subways. I could deal with that if service was better and I actually had a sandwich full of veggies rather than just some. I would like to eat healthy but bad service and high prices for something I can get somewhere else does not make me want to go back. Good thing is there is another Subway on the other side, in the Downtown food court. Prices may still be high, but friendlier and more attentive service with more food is make up for it. ^_^*~
