I was in Aiken for a few weeks for(horse) training and was told about this little gem by a few fellow horsemen. The drive-through is convenient for those times you don’t have time or feel like going inside and the food and drinks are TREMENDOUS. The staff is extremely kind and courteous and I got addicted to their turkey avocado panini — it’s delicious! I can’t wait to travel again to Aiken to have Ridgecrest again!

I felt like getting out of town, so I drove over to Aiken to check out a few places. I stopped at Ridgecrest Coffee Bar because of the great reviews and I wanted to get some work done. The location was easy to find. I was welcomed when I arrived. I came in around 11am, so it wasn’t many people inside, but they got busy pretty quickly. The menu is vast. Lots of great options. I chose to have a Strawberry-Banana Smoothie and a Mocha Chip muffin. The smoothie was great. I drank it within 10 minutes of sitting. The muffin was too, but it was huge. Not a bad thing at all. I actually took the remainder with me. There’s lots of seating. The décor is shabby chic. Mismatched chairs and tables, but it’s obviously done on purpose. They have free wi-fi, which was great. I didn’t have any moments of interruption while working even with the growing crowd. They also have a drive-thru, which you wouldn’t expect for a place like this. Plenty of parking and fair pricing for all menu items. I can’t wait to visit again and explore more of the coffee menu.

I recently moved to Aiken from Atlanta. I work from home. .. or from a library or a coffee shop. Unfortunately coffee shops aren’t as plentiful in Aiken as in Atlanta(not even a stand-alone Starbucks!). I came to Ridgecrest one day hoping they would have wifi and a calming environment. I was in luck! I’ve gotten a mocha, a coffee, and a breakfast panini in the times that I’ve visited. All were delicious(though the panini seemed a bit pricey). The workers are kind. The music is enjoyable. The chairs are comfortable. Very nice vibe.

This is a classic«coffeehouse» in all the right ways. I was looking for a good place to sit with my laptop in Aiken, and this is definitely the best option. Good coffee and espresso drinks, and paninis and salads are made in-house. Wifi works well.

Excellent coffee. The white chocolate raspberry scone was something I shouldn’t have ordered but did and enjoyed very much! It’s very nice to discover a place that’s right on my travel path at least two or three days a week. Friendly staff, open, clean, spacious areas to relax, with large tables conducive to work if you must. They open at five AM. What’s not to like? Check ‘em out.

I was really happy to find a coffee place like this in Aiken. It is a great spot! The interior is very comfortable and relaxing and the coffee and food is really good. Only giving 4 stars because I think they could offer more specialty drinks.

Coffee is definitely very good. The bakery items are made fresh daily in the store and they are not so bad. Very very friendly staff. Great prices. Took one star off because sometimes they have slow service so watch your time if you’re in a hurry.
