It was good, not spectacular. I had the lentil salad — which was very good and something different. I also had the Tomato+Artichoke soup which was yummy. Service needs work.

Went here for a late lunch after a business meeting. I ordered the shrimp fetuccini. The sauce had roasted tomatoes in it which were delicious but the shrimp were severely overcooked. They were the consistency of a rubberband. And there were only 3 of them. I think if you’re going to put an ingredient in the name of a dish, there should be a significant amount of that item in the actual dish. I also ordered iced tea to drink which was very strongly brewed to the point it was bitter. The waitor was a little weird but he did what was expected so I can’t complain about that. Overall, a decent lunch. But if you’re looking to impress at a business lunch, go next door to Cilantro.

Went here with my girlfriend, Sunday after church. The interior design is nice. Mimosa: we got the white cranberry and moscato. It was good. Calamari: This was surprising tasty. It was a mixture of calamari and chorizo, and it had that nice cream, parmesan dressing. I really enjoyed it. It’s definitely not a dieting food, but good. Beet(salad): The goat cheese was interesting. It’s soft like cream cheese. The dressing was good, white balsamic. Waffle(pizza): In concept it was a good idea. It was too dry. Overall Impression: The meal was a bit under par as a whole, the highlight was the Calamari. I’d try it again though. I think it was the waffle pizza, will try something different next time.

I have been to the Bricco in Kent and Akron while visiting home and I love them both! A great appetizer to start with is the Goat Cheese. I’m kind of obsessed with it and I get it every time we go there. The goat cheese is in the center of a bowl with marinara around it and it’s super warm and melts right into the marinara as you stir. And it comes with fried pita bread — need I say more? On different occasions I have had the Bolognese pasta and the baked rotini chorizo. There’s not much to say because both dishes are delicious! Each time I have had plenty left to take home as well, so the portion sizes are pretty large(which is always a plus). Definitely go here if you are looking for something different! They have a great selection of martinis and wine as well.

I was in Akron at a work function and had dinner at Bricco. All in all I was impressed and enjoyed the experience. The location was nice right in down town Akron. Our server was very nice and helpful. I started off with a half spinach salad and it was delicious. It was a tough choice for dinner, but I went with the braised short rib and I was very happy with the meal. The short rib was fabulous and the mashed potatoes and veggies were perfect compliments. Only thing is the serving sizes are really big and I actually could not finish my dinner, which is unusual for me. i would definitely recommend Bricco.

Atmosphere is pretty casual and the food was great for the price point! I’d definitely recommend it for a nice dinner.

I have been here 3 times now when the neighbors on my block organize a get-together. Their huge menu offers a wide variety of choices. I try to order different types of food each time I’m here. First the appetizers: the ones I ordered were the calamari and the banana peppers. They are not that bad I would definitely order again. Next up entrées: Duck– tasty, I like it. Ribeye– my only complaint is there was too much bleu cheese on top that it overpowered the steak. I had to scraped most of the bleu cheese of the steak. Beef short ribs– This was divine, fall of the bone, lots of flavor. Last, I ordered their special, steak with a house sauce, with roasted vegetables and basil mashed potatoes. Mind you, I cannot recall the exact name but I ordered it because of the basil mashed potatoes. I love basil so much, what can go wrong with it right? Well, the steak didn’t really go very well with my taste buds. I did not like the seasoning and there was too much basil on the mash potatoes. It was definitely weird. I felt like I was eating a bunch of fresh basil in my mouth. Well, there you have it, now I haven’t ordered any pizza, salad, pasta, or the sandwiches yet so when I do, I’ll update. By the way, the servers are wonderful, they accommodate my toddler and always bring her French Fries first before our food arrives.

Delicious. Ordered the chicken and fried Brussels sprouts dish. So awesome and flavorful! Sat outside on the patio. Such a great dinner.

I don’t travel to downtown Akron often despite living in the area, but when I do, I will be sure to stop at Bricco again. Stellar service, personable staff, delicious food, and a drink menu to please a diverse range of pallets. If you’re wondering where to go for a great dinner and at more than reasonable price for the quality, look no further than Bricco!

Unfortunately, this meal was a complete disaster. We were told it was a good place to go after our sons graduation so we called 1 week in advance for reservations for our large group. We did not have a server for 35 minutes, and that was only after having to go hunt someone down to ask. The meals were scattered and 5 of the 11 person group were left without food for 15 minutes. They completely forgot 2 salads, forgot an entrée, and screwed up a wrap that was ordered to hold the sausage. Obviously understaffed, food cold and poorly timed. Left my elderly father without his entrée and brought him something different that he hadn’t ordered that was burnt like rubber! Feel bad taking our out of town family to such an establishment. Our meal took longer than graduation ceremony! Poor food and service.

Great spot! We went here late on a Thursday after my niece had her high school graduation at the EJ Thomas Center. Great service, and I was surprised at how good the food was. The walleye fish was perfectly prepared, had the skin on which was crispy but the flesh of the fish was light and flaky. They also had a good whiskey selection which is a bonus for me! I’m never in Akron, but if I am I won’t hesitate about eating at this place.

I’ve been missing good food for some. Do t get to Akron all that often but I had a meeting and we went there for lunch. Wow! Loved my goat cheese and beet salad with an added piece of some the best salmon I’ve had in a long time. Wasn’t terribly busy although it was almost 1:30 so we probably missed the lunch crowd. Will be back for sure!

Everytime I’ve ever been to Bricco the food was wonderful and the service very good. We went on Valentine’s Say one year and the specials were fantastic. Also good for lunch.

After moving from New York to Ohio, I was challenged to find a restaurant that served food that wasn’t…junk. People recommended Bricco. Right on main street, relatively high prices… must be good right? Wrong. I ate here once with my mother, both of our meals were pretty lacking of any taste. She ordered a pasta entrée and there was hardly any sauce on the pasta. I gave this restaurant a second try and was disappointed both times by overprice, bland-tasting meals. Would not return for a 3rd try.

Having to work on a Sunday, my team chose this restaurant to come to and have a relaxing brunch. I can easily see why, as the parking was convenient, the service attentive(thank you again, Tyler), and the food filling enough that we all felt a nap should have been scheduled afterwards. Some of the highlights had to include the fried pickles, the chorizo pizza(enough sausage and prosciutto there to satisfy any«meat lover» request), and the Mexican burrito. I’m fairly certain the Mexican burrito violated the«don’t eat anything bigger than your face» rule, but it was exceedingly well made and included just about everything you could want for breakfast in a neat wrap. About the only thing I wasn’t too keen on was the Bloody Mary, as when I asked for 2 pieces of bacon in it, the last thing I would ever have imagined could happen would be that the staff would take the bacon through a food processor instead of just standing up two pieces of bacon in the drink. *shrug* All in all, I found a great new brunch spot, and I look forward to trying Bricco’s other mealtimes. Although I should probably not schedule anything too important to do after that meal.

There’s a lot to like about this place. A diverse menu and comfortable environment. Service was very friendly and professional. That veggie burger though… it totally fell apart the minute I picked it up and was so salty that I couldn’t finish it. I love that they include vegetarian options, but this particular dish needs some tweaking.

Classy downtown place. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. Reasonable prices, and overall a nice place. That being said, our waiter was kind of weird. I don’t really know how to explain it, but he spoke so quietly. I’d definitely go again.

RISOTTOBALLS… to die for! Came in here on a thursday evening with some gfs and we had a GREAT time. We started with the risotto balls which were so so so so so yummy! They were fried balls with risotto with cheese inside over some marinara and basil. I would totally recommend these to start your meal. I had the veggie pizza. It came with mushrooms, carmelized onions, artichokes, tomatoes and this amazing cheese! what a combination– YUM. A few girls got the wedge and the salmon salad. The wedge was seriously the size of two grown men’s heads. ITWASLARGE and awesome. Our waitress was great. Very attentive and gave us a lot of TLC! The portions are very big so you’ll most likely have leftovers which you can enjoy the next day :)

Came here based upon a Unilocal search through the Lexus Enform app in my car. Cool factor! Parking at a meter out front was free, but I didn’t know until after I’d paid. Read the signs! I should have. No bearing on the food. My wife and I shared the Goat Cheese with Spicy Marinara and Fried Pita Bread appetizer. Delicious! The leftover pita, after the meal, didn’t get left behind. I ate it for dessert! We ordered the shaved strip steak and provolone cheese on toasted Italian bread with au jus and the grilled chicken breast with fresh mozzarella, marinated tomatoes and fresh basil on a brioche bun. We told the server we would split both to share and taste. When the food came, they were already split for us! Nice touch. Both were good and served hot and fresh. My wife didn’t finish her halves and we got a «doggy bag» and accidentally left it on the table when we left. We returned about five minutes later and the server had put it aside, in case we returned. Another nice touch. The server(can’t remember her name, unfortunately) was VERY nice, friendly and helpful. A definite addition to my list if we’re in the area.
