The service is SLOW. Long time before a waitress took our drink orders. I don’t think she ever checked on us when we did get our food. And when we were clearly finished eating, took the longest time to receive our bill. Couldn’t even get her attention as she was nowhere in sight most of the time. Food was alright. The pretzel appetizers were pretty good.

So much for slow service. Ordered an Angry Orchard and some wings. Keg was dry, so Amber loaded a fresh one– and had my wings in front of me in moments. Wings were standard bar fare, but tasty, and the new keg was cold. No complaints about the service, the staff or the food. Will definitely return whenever in town.

Winking Lizard met my families expectations. These out-of-towers were pleased with the service and food quality. Lizard Freckles and onion rings were excellent. 4 of 5 family members had the wings and all enjoyed. 5th member had the mini burgers and he enjoyed them, as well. We will be back and will recommend to others.

Good service, lots of TVs to watch sports on, many craft beers to pick from. Moderately priced but the food was just average. Worth a try.

Straight up solid and unique place. We came on a Monday for their $ 0.55 wings. I am a SUCKER for a good wing deal. The place was packed so we waited for about 10 minutes before getting a nice seat outside. Jen was our waitress and she looked exhausted.(It was about 8:15pm so I’m sure she’d been running around for hours.) With a little conversation she cheered right up. I had a huge 32oz. LaBatt Blue Light beer for $ 4.75 and I ordered 4 sets of 5 wings.(You’re only allowed to order 1 sauce per order, so if you order 10 wings or 20 wings, you’re only allowed 1 sauce. So you have to literally order them in 5s if you want a different sauce. Pretty stupid if you ask me.) Anyway, the wings were very, very good. I had Goldfinger, Thai, Garlic and Cajun. Goldfinger was my favorite. It had a like a honey mustard base to it with a hint of spice. You may see me here again today because they have $ 0.55 wings on Tuesday as well!

First and foremost, they have an excellent bar staff.(Gregasaurus, Kate, Amanda and Jeremy on Winking Lizard side are the bee’s knees!) Food service is fast and NOT fast food. The 3pm specials and seasonal menu items add a variety to an already plentiful menu selection. Both the tour and quarterly rotational bottle list is fantastic and matched only by the excellent draft selection. Don’t be surprised that there is a beer or beers that meets your fancy. The tour incentives add to this low key and relaxing sports bar. Don’t expect it to be quiet on game night for this reason however. Any negative Nancys with complaints about this location have clearly missed the boat on this one. Fine with me. It simply means there’s more for us with better company!

I didn’t have diner here but I loved the place for beer and a snack. Great sports bar atmosphere. Amazing beer selection. Friendly service. The Bavarian pretzels were awesome and huge!

So I’ve been here several times. Along with 2 others locations. Had the over cooked, deep fried little wings. Yes they have lots of different sauces that keep people coming back but I don’t recommend them. I prefer to buy local craft beers here & eat somewhere else. NOW, this last time I noticed a separate bar opposite side of the building. WOW, beer connoisseur time. They have different beers on tap here(not necessarily all better) But different. Here’s the cool thing. You can order a print and walk around to shop for beers to take home while you enjoy a beer or two. They will also open the beers and you can drink them there if you choose. Excellent selection of high and IPA from all over United States. Even some of the most popular IPAs in San Diego are available here.

The wings are great love them… sad news you charged me more than I was quoted on the phone I was told that 100 wings is 58.49 but when my friend came back he was charged 68… now I know it’s not a ton of money it’s the principle that matters…4 for the food and 3 for the service!

I am here currently and this is the absolute worst service I have ever recieved — and I love the other winking lizards. I have been a regular at the two Canton locations for over 7 years and this location is just appalling.

The service here has really gone downhill. Today we had a party of 8, and 7 dinners came out. By the time the 8th dinner was brought to the table we had all nearly finished. Also, only two of us were drinking beer but only were able to have one each. The reason? The waitress never returned to the table until we were nearly finished. The food was average and alright. Nothing great, but also not bad.

If you want to experience Ohio, come to the Winking Lizard. I’m not afraid to admit that I did not expect much from my trip to the Buckeye State. But as a sign of things to come, it began looking up even before I left when, as a desperate exercise to gain momentary relief from the sweltering Philly heat, I checked the weather — it would be a refreshing 80s, low humidity. The upward trend continued as I navigated my Fiat 500 through Northeast Ohio’s basic beauty — marshmallowy clouds, pristine blue sky, trees green, America’s horizon. And unlike in other locales, the people of Ohio add to, rather than detract from, the experience. They are pleasant; not insufferably, irrationally nice(looking at you: The South) nor baselessly cold(NY) nor trying to impress above their station(DC), they are who you want them to be, friendly, courteous, happy. The Winking Lizard embodies Ohio, it is the state restaurant-sonified. The comfortable, nice-looking outdoor patio masks the surrounding strip mall parking lot. Our server was pleasant, diligent, providing good service and playful banter. Plus, she drew a heart next to her name on the check. The tip went up. The food, a(not) healthy mix of pub fare and other kinds of pub fare, is tasty enough to leave you happy with your selection of both restaurant and meal. Pro tip: the ribs are better than passable(just like — yup, you guessed it: Ohio), the BBQ sauce is award winning*, and they do a buffalo chicken salad the right way — the chicken bites are fried and plentiful(all other restaurants: take note)(*Northeast Ohio award winning, but award winning nonetheless). And last but opposite of least: their beer selection is fantastic — over 300 bottles/drafts combined and two sizes of pint. Pint and bigger pint. After visiting both Ohio and the Lizard, I’m proud and okay with this state deciding every presidential election(especially in place of Florida, no explanation necessary). It embodies America, but leans towards the best of it.

Great beer choices and amazing wings! Highly recommend the Thai and Caribbean Jerk wings. If you get a chance to sit on the patio, so do. Servers are friendly and keeps us coming back!

I’ve been here five or six times. The regular food is nothing to write home about, but the wings, in all their many flavors, are really good. The wait on the food is always longer than other places, which I can’t figure out. It’s mediocre food. What takes so long? The reason for bumping this place up a star is the patio. In fact I wouldn’t come here without the patio. The dining room inside is bizarre. It feels like you’re in a hallway.(The bar is huge but I don’t prefer bars. Those like me are left with a weird hallway of tables.) The patio is decently sized and has a fireplace and lights strung above. It’s nice. Perfect for Northeast Ohio summer nights. Tl;dr Sit on patio. Eat wings.

First a review of the Winking Lizard that applies to all locations. The food is very, very good, and at risk of starting the age old wings argument– I will say the Lizard does wings as well as any place I’ve ever been. Atmosphere is the rare mix of of a bar, and family friendly. Come by yourself, with coworkers or bring the kids. The beer selection is world class, and if they don’t have it you shouldn’t be drinking it. Now the Copley location. It’s bigger than most Lizards, but that doesn’t keep it from being packed. Expect a short wait if you’re coming at popular times, but don’t be discouraged if the lobby is full because they move people through. I like the charm of the Peninsula location more, but 150 year old locations aren’t available everywhere. If you’re local you should come here often. If you’re from out of town, don’t miss the chance at great wings, ribs, burgers and beer.

Winking Lizard: It is what it is. A place to find bonafide IPA on draft, with a food menu that consists of the usual selection of stuff from the Sysco food truck unimaginatively dropped into a fryer or thrown en masse onto a flat top grill. They show every NFL game on Sundays, which is nice for us Ohio transplants who have a hard time finding the home team on TV. Side note: Can someone please explain to me how«neighborhood» bars end up on concrete lots in Box Store Land? And how they stay open, for that matter? I can’t imagine more of a buzzkill for a potentially fun evening than navigating through Home Depot and Best Buy parking lots, strip mall auxiliary roads, and stop-and-go shopping traffic to get to your destination. Also, I’ve always wondered about the concept of a bar with great beer in a location that only cars can get to. It doesn’t bode well for beer enthusiasts who like to enjoy more than two 16-oz ales in a sitting. Anyway, 5 stars for the beer list + 1 star for the food divided by two gives me a 3 overall, minus a half star for location. 2.5 overall score, rounded down to 2, because Unilocal won’t allow half stars.

Hmm… not sure where to leave my review since it appears the whiskey car & beer store are connected to the restaurant. I will leave the same review here as well! _____ Came here on a recent trip and wasn’t expecting much to be honest. Located in a strip mall-ish area I figured this place would be like a Friday’s with overpriced mediocre cocktails and cheesy staff. TOTAL opposite. The group I was with sat at the bar and were greeted right away by the friendly bartenders. There were beer displays and a back bar FULL of more whiskey’s than I knew existed. They had barrel aged cocktails which were awesome and flavors I have never tasted! Totally impressed with their Sour Ale selection and the helpful bartender. I think his name was Casey… who laid down his Sour Ale knowledge on me and made incredible recommendations. We left with 3 bottles, and loved them all!

The Winking Lizard is your classic pub/tavern/bar. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. The location is pretty large and the tables are generally well-separated. They have a patio, a couple large seating rooms, and a full bar. They have a large number of beers on tap and more in bottles. The menu is large and a bit overwhelming. I enjoyed the chili and my Dad had the soup of the day. I’d recommend both if you’re stopping by but don’t want a full meal. I would venture a guess some of the items on the menu are overpriced but that would happen at any restaurant. The bartender was very friendly and I had a good time. Consider the Winking Lizard if you want a beer, a light snack, a full meal, or any combination of the above.
