Battle of the Bay! Softball 2011

This review is for the Final Game of our season, the playoff game to end our summer of fun and cause for Celebration. I has always been a pleasure for me and MD to help organize the softball games.
I can personally say that through being your coach for the West Bay, I have met so many great people and had so many great players on my team. I look forward to meeting more new friends each game. :)
Whether you came out to this game, one this season or even last season, this review is for you. There would be no softball without all of you!

I finally made it to a Unilocal softball game and boy what a game it was. EB represented hardcore on the home side. I was afraid it was going to be scorching hot, but luckily, Alameda had perfect weather.
Not only was the game full of surprises and even a potential fight, it lasted a full nine innings. Be prepared to spend most of your day eating and playing. There’s never a dull moment when it comes to Unilocal softball.
Unilocalers don’t just know how to eat, but they know how to cook apparently too. There was so much tasty food at the BBQ potluck there wasn’t an empty stomach in the house.
I’d like to thank RT and MD for being such lovely organizers and hostesses.
Overall, I hit every time… didn’t make it to the base, but still had a ton of fun catching up with old school Unilocalers and new ones too.
SF, you better be ready for the next game. Hopefully, my calendar will be clear for the next game. I’ll be there with my bat, ball and some yummy food for y’all to nosh on.
