Came over on the same day and fixed my Samsung Panama tv which had stopped working completely. Works great now. Highly recommended.

Brought my precious Panasonic in because it was was not staying on. Lee was great! Really nice and super helpful! He suggested some things to try before bringing it, which I thought very thoughtful of him. Unfortunately, nothing worked so I had to take it in. Lee helped transport from car to counter and even used his own stand since i was too stupid to bring mine. Had it fixed in a few days, and week later I just picked up my set. He hooked up an antenna and turned the tv on before I left to make sure everything was good. Full of helpful tips as I talked to him, very personable!

Lee at Elite has been extremely helpful to me in dealing with my TV problems: mostly with a Samsung plasma TV which TWICE was a victim of a voltage surge (I think, caused by Directv). He quickly diagnosed the problem and made dealing with it very easy. I definitely recommend Elite.

I have a kindle paperwhite that needed a screen repair. They refused to even look at it, and said because they are not «factory authorized» they cannot touch it. There is no factory authorized programs for kindles, so by that logic there’s no place to go. Even a note saying the kindle is not repairable would have helped, because then I could proceed with a warranty claim. They would not even do that. They would not help me at all, or even suggest anywhere else that could help me.
I expect this sort of attitude from Best Buy, not from local merchants (who I go to when ever I can). Needless to say I won’t be back to this place.

Last night when I turned on my 60″ Pioneer Elite Plasma TV, I had no audio and no video. I tried everything I could think of to remedy the situation, to no avail.
So, I turned to Google to try and find a repair service. I found a listing for Elite Electronics on Park St. in Alameda where I live. Elite had received 14 5-​star ratings out of 14 reviews, so I called them this morning.
I talked to Lee, who said to unplug the TV for 30 minutes and then try it again.
After 30 minutes I plugged in the TV. As it warmed up, I told my wife that this procedure wouldn’t work because I had many times used the main switch to cut off all power to the set.
As soon as I finished telling that to my wife, the TV warmed up and started working normally! Unbelievable!
If I ever have a problem with a TV, I now know where to go.

Our 2 year old Samsung’s Optical Digital input came loose and broke (because our cord was too short and was yanked everytime we opened it on its’ mount to get behind it to reset the modem). A gentleman came (didnt get his name) but he was early (!) and took it down, took it apart and soldered the broken piece and it worked! No ordering parts and all done in an hour. This guy knows his TVs! Very happy and will definitely use them again.

So I have a 60″ plasma Viera thats only 2 years old and started to make a weird buzzing sound. I called Panasonic and they said the warranty was expired and they referred me to Elite Electronics. I was a little skeptical working with a 3^rd party, but I called them and they set up an appt. to have a technician come out 3 days later.
The tech was on time and was friendly. My TV is wall-​mounted so I was a little concerned how he’d work with it but it was no problem. With a little help, we took it down and he immediately went to work. In less then 45 mins, he had the TV down, panel off, and problem diagnosed. It was a little pricey for the work ($ 400 for the labor and visit) but he fixed it with a little solder and some new screws and the sound was gone. We got it back up on the wall and he was off.
Big fans. Would definitely recommend if you have any flat-​screen TV issues in the Bay Area.

Brought my older plasma flat screen TV here when it was broken. The fee for diagnosis is $ 50, which can be applied to the cost of repair (very fair).
In my case, there were 4 parts that needed to be replaced so it took them a few days to track down all the specifics and the cost, which turned out to be higher than the cost of buying another TV brand new.
When I said that I wasn’t interested in repairing, they said they would deal with recycling it for me.
If I have a TV problem in the future, I would definitely come back here.

We have a fairly old model pioneer elite 52 inch plasma tv. After operating flawlessly for years, suddenly, no power. We looked up some online conversations from people who had had bad luck repairing this model, albeit, their sets were somewhat newer. Unilocal reviews gave elite electronics 5-​stars, so we called on Lee, and he delivered. It’s a heavy wall-​mounted set, which he loaded up, took back to the shop, and redelivered in a week good as new. Major part of the price was the part, which Pioneer is not selling cheap. Lee was reasonable, cheerful, and very skillful.

I have a 34inch KD-​34XBR960 tube television if you know anything about Sony this is the best tube tv ever produced. Well my tvjust stopped powering up and sony reffered me to elite they came took the part that need to be fixed on june 2
& on the 5^th he brought it back good as new i would recommend elite to anyone with electronic problems

I purchased a Sony TV from Best Buy and when we hooked it up, the volume wouldn’t budge, so we brought it here for repairs, they are an authorized repair shop for some brands, and it didn’t cost a penny…
Great service and quick, only took a few days…

I had a cracked Mercedes key case and decided to be an Einstein and bought a new key case so I can remove and replace the printed circuit board chip from one house to the next. Didn’t have clear instructions on how to do this but used a needle nose plier and was able to do one of my keys successfully.
I tried doing the same with the 2^nd key and had a much harder time but eventually I did it. Checked both keys that the remote control buttons work and I was happy that both remotes now are like brand new. Little did I know but the other day when my wife tried to drive the car, she couldn’t get the key fob to turn in the ignition. My key works fine. Long story short, I didn’t check to see if both keys can start the engine. Turns out I damaged one of the printed circuit boards when I pulled it out with the pliers.
I took the PCB and key housing to Elite and he looked at it with his magnifying glass and said I had 2 damaged lines. He said he has never worked on anything this small before but will give it a try. If he can get it to work, it will cost $ 40 but if it doesn’t work, there is no charge. I said can you do it now and he told me to give him 30 minutes. I came back and reinstalled everything back into the key housing and crossed my fingers. Inserted the key fob and started the car. I am so grateful he was able to fix my mistake and saved me a few hundred dollars as a new Mercedes key is really expensive.
I highly recommend that if you have any electrical problems, bring it to Elite and see what he can do.

Fixed my 32 inch western digital flat screen, was told from someone else that it couldn’t get fixed but elite electronics fixed the tv within couple weeks and in total payed $ 185, be aware there is a $ 50 deposit when you bring your tv in

I looked up the three listed authorized Sony repair shops in the bay area, and this had the highest Unilocal rating. My lightly used 15 year old high end SONY AV receiver would’t power on, and after looking at what was out there for replacements, I decided it was worth trying to get it fixed. I was worried that the old time electronic repair shops were no longer, having not had to scout one out in a decade. This was a little out of the way but well worth it. It looks like the authentic repair shops of eons ago with tons of clutter. The very nice man who helped me was encouraging and he just needed a $ 50.00 deposit to find out what was wrong. Within two days he called and gave me the estimate which seemed reasonable. By the end of the week it was done which surprised me since I thought they had to order a part. He demonstrated that it worked before I paid, and he explained the problem. I give them 5 stars for prompt and courteous service and am thankful that there are craftspeople who still want to do this work.

WARNING-​Do not leave a message and expect them to call you back. They won’t. I called and left a message about having my tv repaired and heard nothing. After almost 2 weeks I called back. They picked up and came out to get my tv that same day. From what I can tell this is there only flaw, and it’s easily avoidable. Just keep calling until someone picks up. Trust me, it’s worth it.
I had them pick up my 42″ LCD Panasonic tv to be repaired. Through no fault of their own the part was on backorder… then backorder turned into «we have no idea when the part will come in»…
I had a battle with Panasonic, but the people at Elite were nothing but helpful and communicative. Every time they heard something they would call to update me. I could tell they felt bad about having my tv for so long without being able to repair it.
Eventually I got Panasonic to just replace my tv. They shipped it to Elite and the repair guy delivered the brand new tv to my house and helped me set it up.
I hope not to need their services again (or at least not for awhile!) but I will be happy to give them my business again.

Lee at Elite Electronics worked on my TV at my house and went above and beyond at service. He not only removed the chassis from my TV to work on it at the shop but returned it to me before the estimated time he said would be needed for repair. Plus he even brought my smaller TV in from the back of the house to watch while the other TV was in the shop and set my cable up at no charge. Now that’s service!

I recently had the unhappy experience of having my $ 4K Panasonic Veira Flat Panel Plasma Screen go down. Just 5 year old and it quit. I called Panasonic… got a «too bad» message and here’s the names of a couple of repair experts to call. They both seemed to charge about the same rates… neither was cheap.
I choose Elite. Through phone conversations the proprietor’s wife tried to help me. When it became clear that a house call was the only remedy, (taking a 120 lb. screen off the wall and carrying across the bay was not an option) they made an appointment for the following day. Lee, the owner showed up on time. Went right to work, taking the screen apart, diagnosing the problem and installing a new SC card. In just about an hour the screen was back up on the wall and working perfectly. Very careful and considerate.

I used Elite Electronics when my Sony Bravia TV needed a repair. They were one of two choices for repairs that Sony gave me. And I decided to go with this place, since the other place had bad reviews. :)
They were very fast to respond and they kept me up to date on my parts that needed to be ordered. Also, since I worked during the week– they had no problem fitting me into a Saturday Appointment.
The repair man had to come twice, but he was always 20 minutes early. I didn’t really mind, because its better than being late! He was also super friendly and patient– which was a plus. He even took off his shoes before he got inside my Asian home. Thanks! Nice guy! :)
Elite Electronics deserves an A++++!

This store is open, and I’ve used them for several years. I just used their service today. They are one of two East Bay authorized Sony repair and do other brand repair of television including HD. They are expensive, but they do home calls which is very convenient.
