Finally made it to In-N-Out. Came on a Monday night and the parking lot was about half filled. Do not be deterred by the long line of cars in the drive through line. Inside, there were plenty of open tables. This location looks identical to other locations. Service was fine. My go to meal is the number 1 with grilled onions and extra crispy fries. Never can have too many In-N-Outs.

Tonight was the second time for me and this place, I’m not going back. The burgers were overcooked and the bun was so mushy, it fell apart when I picked it up. The cheese was stuck to the paper since it had slid off the burger entirely, the whole thing was very lopsided. The french fries were the worst. They were discolored, cold, so dry they were hard as a rock, the tips were burnt, just awful. I ate some of the burger and a few fries, my dogs ate the rest, they loved it. The only napkin in the bag was opened and laying across the top of the fries. It looked like they were trying to hide them since they were so gross. In the future when I want a burger and fries, I’ll go to Val’s Burgers in Hayward, their food is worth the drive, it’s excellent!

Fast food isn’t always that fast especially if you are hungry and want a quick bite. The line at the drive-thru was way too long so we went inside to order. Dude wanted a double burger without cheese or special sauce and grilled onions and the rest of us wanted a simple cheeseburger and hamburger plus two orders of fries. I don’t normally eat fast food but we had time constraints. Well, the cashier asked me three times about the double burger. I guess it was confusing for him because the double burger was everything but the cheese and sauce and dude wanted onions grilled. Too much to remember lol! Oh well, we had to wait at least 5 – 10 minutes for our order to come out. Glad we got there before a big group walked in after us.

This in and out didn’t open too long ago and has already become the household favorite. I’m a huge fan of the animal fries! The service is always quick and efficient.

We love in and out burger. The double double are fresh and tasty each and every time. Always thump up. But we’ve been getting broken French fried. This is not our first time. The French fried are like left over, broken in small pieces, and not as fresh as we expected it. Other than that. This is a good place for lunch or dinner.

Glad to see more in-n-outs expanding in CA, but that doesn’t seem to make the lines any shorter. Probably because they are all consistent with food and service and creating more fans. The only downside that makes me avoid this location is the parking lot. It’s small and makes it hard to maneuver as it shares a lot with chase bank and Safeway gas.

As far as in-n-outs’s go this location is the best in Nor-Cal. They never mess up orders, the line if pretty fast moving, and it is so much nicer and safer than Oakland’s location. No homeless knocking on your car window or piles of trash all over the parking lot! Also nearby is Crème for dessert or Habit burger if you’re K2’s girlfriend(inside joke). Pro tip: You can say«animal fries special order, smaller portion» so they don’t fill the trough past the fill line!

I’m so glad there’s finally an in n out in a safe area near me! It’s so convenient when I want a quick bite. The kitchen and interior is SO clean. Surprises me for a fast food joint. You can see the sparkly cleanliness of the kitchen from the drive through. I guess I haven’t been here when they’re really busy but I always see a huge line when I pass by. But when I’m actually here I barely have to wait, pretty fast. Staff is also very friendly. Burger buns and french fries are always a pleasant crispness that you can’t get from any other place. The only thing I don’t like is the milkshake. It makes my throat hurt for some reason and isn’t to my taste. & I know every in n out has people standing outside to take orders from the drive through but it’s winter now! It’s freezing cold outside and the poor guy was clearly cold tonight. I wish they would invest in an intercom outside.

In-N-Out is a California staple! ANDOMG, it’s in my home city! After trial and error, I found out my favorite In-N-Out burger is the animal style double double protein burger! SOFREAKINGGOOD! I’m in love! Closes at 1:30am is pretty awesome!

One thing I can say is this location has happy and courteous employees. The facility is well maintained. The food of course is on point. Nice place to get something quickly

When I eat at a fast food joint, I don’t expect much service. But a simple«Hi» would be nice. Came here 9pm on a week night. There was no line when I walked in. No one was behind the register. Staffs saw us but they were pushing each other and debating on who should to take our order. Finally, this woman named Sabria reluctantly came to the register. All she said to us was«go ahead». No greetings no nothing. Worst customer service experience ever at In-and-Out.

I’m so happy that there is an In and Put on the island! The lines are usually long but that is to be expect. I *heart* burgers and this is my fav fast hirer place.

Come here every once in a while. Have never been disappointed yet. The staff are friendly and always offer to help out by opening the door or throwing away our trash when we’re done. It can get really crowded during certain hours of the day, but that’s like any other in n out. The drive thru line is a little weird because the line gets so long that it interferes with the Chase bank there. My sister normally orders me a cheeseburger with extra toasted buns, both grilled and raw onions, pickles and chopped chilies. So good!

I’m not a big fan of In-N-Out in San Leandro or Oakland mainly because of the people that go to those locations. I was happy when I read In-N-Out was opening in Alameda which is a nicer more relaxed and safer location. I will only stop by when it opens because its empty and I don’t like waiting. I laugh when I drive by and see the long drive-thru line. Hey, if you love waiting a long time for your food and wasting gas then more power to you lol

What’s not to love. It trumps all fast food places… except Shake Shack in NYC, but we’re in the best coast, so let’s talk In-N-Out. This is a brand new location(built in 2015) as Alameda keeps growing. It’s in a plaza with a convenient Chase Bank and other shops off of Webster St as you exit the Posey Tunnel coming into the humble little island of Alameda. The food is consistently good and freshly made-to-order. I got the #1, animal style(if you haven’t tried it, go ahead, get wild). Also, I ordered a Neopolitan shake which is the blended shake. If you didn’t know, In-N-Out has a secret menu with all kinds of little twists. For example, if you like it spicy, you can ask to add banana peppers to your burger. You can even one up the double-double and go with a triple-triple, or if you’re beastmoding to a heart attack, go BIG with a quad-quad… four cheeses, four patties in one burger with all the fixings. The staff is young, well-trained, and friendly. I’m guessing they’re mostly part timers that go to the Alameda community college close by. They probably also smile because In-N-Out employees are one of the highest paid fast food workers. Everything’s great, so why didn’t I give it 5 stars? My question to you is… you read this long of a review for In-N-Out??? Haha okay, just kidding(but not really). The reason this location only gets 4 stars is because the drive through is not well built. It’s narrow and snakes along in a windy way. You have to get into the parking lot before you can turn into the drive thru… if only they could have gotten Alameda to agree to building the drive thru directly from Webster St, it would have been loads easier to enjoy.

Don’t judge me, I had a hankering for a double-double. And it was delicious, okay? Smooshy, meaty, salty and perfect in every way, especially with those grilled onions and that sauce. It was also a Spare the Air Day and sitting/idling in the drivethru was pretty much the worst thing I could do for the environment. So don’t judge me for that either, I had my dog in the car so didn’t want to go inside. I also ordered my dog a plain hamburger. Of course I didn’t say it was for my hamburger because I didn’t want the guy taking the orders out on the curb to judge me. But then he asks me, «is the hamburger for your dog?» I usually have no problems lying to strangers, but for some reason I decided to truthfully say yes. He asked if I wanted it with no salt then. What??? AMAZING! I told you not to judge me, this was a fast food MIRACLE. I love this place and will be back, maybe not on a Spare the Air Day…

Yet AGAIN another 5 star experience! During dinner time, I got in line at 6:59pm, ordered by 7:01pm and received my food by 7:10pm. The wait was very reasonable considering my order was kind of special. My order consisted of a double-double animal style, buns extra toasted, an order of fries and a strawberry shake. Everything was received /tasted as expected. 2 things that makes this an above and beyond experience: First off, there was TONS of parking! I drove into the lot and grabbed a far spot. To my surprise, I saw half a dozen spots much closer to the door. Secondly(and more impressively), my cashier, Benjamin, even apologized for making me wait and explained the line was due to the lunch rush! I’m not sure where they find these workers but nothing short of superb! Okay I guess there’s a 3rd thing. I was resting a little before I got ready to leave and someone’s coming around and clearing the tables! I didn’t even have to walk to the garbage can. Talk about service. In summary, this location was well planned, is well managed, and hired excellent candidates. I would not hesitate to revisit this location ATALL.

Given this location is brand new, I expected the wait to be lengthy. But upon reaching the drive through line we were relieved to see there were only a few cars ahead of us. Whenever the In N Out cravings strike, I head out to Daly City since Fisherman Wharf is too overwhelming. We all know that the DC location can get insane so I am used to and have come to expect the drive through line being backed up with about 15 – 20 cars at any given time. So this was a nice surprise. The staff all seem to know what they are doing as I couldn’t tell who were brand new or transfers from other locations. But at the risk of sounding like a grinch everyone we encountered had the happy/friendly gauge set a bit too high as if you two have just agreed to becoming best friends. It’s certainly not a complaint by any means but it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable because it feels forced and unnatural. For me, I prefer to have a short, pleasant down to Earth exchange(small talk about weather or anything else not necessary) when I’m out to purchase something. Don’t get me wrong, they were all well versed in providing an excellent customer experience. One notable difference here is they take your card for payment and then told to retrieve it at the window. I didn’t care for this and felt it unnecessary as I’m not sure this helps save any time. I’ve been in much longer lines and they don’t do it this way. And we had to sign for it which I’ve never done at a drive through before. But it is what it is but I hope they streamline this process. Burgers were the same quality that is for the most part consistent and the fresh fries were perfect and salted evenly. It’s too bad this location opening didn’t occur 10 years ago when I could have enjoyed it as an Alamedan. Back then the closest location was in Pleasanton so it wasn’t often that we’d get to treat ourselves to an In N Out. Also back then, an idea of a Alameda In-N-Out location was laughable and would never have expected to open in this small town. Current Alamedans, you guys are lucky.

[+] This Alameda location has the prettiest In-n-Out burger I’ve ever seen. [+] The fries are even peppered! Sogginess of fries didn’t start until the very END, which is increeedibly shocking to me. [+] The employees were super happy, friendly, and accommodating. [+] When we asked for water, the cashier handed us pre-filled water cups with straws already in! Of course, the paper was still on there but he took it off when he handed us the water. [+] There’s actual labels for the condiments and I swear, it’s the cleanest In-n-Out yet. Mind. Blown.

As much as people rave about In-n-Out, I tend to want to raise my nose to the idea of a chain burger joint getting so much hype. How dare they say it’s «the best ever». Who are they? Floyd Mayweather fans? Can a chain burger really have so much buzz that the newspaper writes an article about the new location? Lines as long as launch day at the Apple Store? In short. Yes. I went through the drive-thru at the new Alameda location and the line was 20 cars deep. But they are so organized that our order was taken at the beginning of the parking lot, we paid about 5 cars after that, and then had our order reviewed and handed to us within 6 minutes. I must say the process is very proficient. I was very impressed. The only negative is I don’t like the fries. But the burgers at the Alameda location were excellent. I wasn’t a huge fan when I lived in Pacifica and went to the one in Daly City, but this location I enjoyed. The service and taste of the burger are top notch. As far as price and quality it’s worth it. So maybe In-n-Out really does deserve all the hype.
