girl that works here seems so lost and confused. I had to point out where things were for her… every subway I’ve been too as they wait for the roster to go off they start with the next persons order she just stood there staring at the toster then continued. Not bad for me but the company should teach them how to cut avocados because she wasted like half of it cutting through it very messy. And then the lady working along with her seemed very mean. Instead of waiting for me to finish my order that I just started she starts yelling at me from the cashier asking me what I wanted so she could charged my dad… how they got this job idk

Okay, I’m here right now. I can’t begin to explain what kind of customer service is provided. At least my sandwich is good. So star for that. Girl whom made my sandwich has pretty laid back service, not upbeat, not smiling, didn’t even hand me my sandwich; just left it on the far end for me to grab. I guess I could just reach over the counter and do that. I am starting to review my places on Unilocal much more often now than before because I feel it’s important to acknowledge everyone on this locations’ behalf. I wouldn’t recommend. Hey everyone, I recommend attending Subway in Marina Village Parkway on the OPPOSITESIDE of Alameda. Their service is better than this locations’. I’d love to be a returning customer, but nah. Regardless of how good the food can be. Man, how am I gonna watch my calories now? Lol, I’ll just go to McDonald’s in South Shore /Towne Centre. I rate this SUBWAY a 1 out of 4 stars. I don’t ever count the first star. To me, it’s invisible. Thanks for reading.

Was walking on Park st. And I saw the sign«Buy any two foot long sandwiches for $ 12.00». That sign is a lie, went into the store and asked what sandwiches I can order with that the manager pointed to the sandwich categories that were $ 5.50 and $ 6.25 for a foot long. Wtf? First, the sign says ANY foot long sandwich. Second, the $ 5.50 foot long sandwich is cheaper than the deal, when the«deal» is supposed the make the price cheaper because you’re paying $ 6 each sandwich. Third, when I brought this up to the manager and said that the $ 5.50 sandwich is cheaper than the sign’s deal and that the sign says any foot long sandwich, she told me «well if you don’t like it… ***shrugs***» She practically told me if I don’t like don’t get it, which I didn’t. I’ve never encountered such a rude manager before. Will never return, do not go to this subway they are trying to trick you. Go else where.

Subway had standing signs touting $ 36“subs(3 or 4 types offered). sign on window states this is the only subway offering this deal.(actually not cheap, details to come). eats: 6″ spicy italian on italian bread(3) –server didn’t automatically pile on everything, literally let me choose what i wanted: provolone cheese, jalepenos, pepperinos, red onions, bell pepper, *server put lettuce, salami, bologna, other meats but no mayo, vinegars, oils. –took up offer to have it toasted. tasted good but not fulfulling take outs: –full size spicy italian(5.25) –different subs had different pricing. –dislike chips, soft drinks so didn’t order any. –unlikely to frequent subway soon, not a good value. low quality self made bread. –service ok, slight difficulty understanding the queen’s english.

Nice and clean but the employees were not very friendly and when I asked about an extra charge I saw on my receipt they told that it was they way they had to do it… Still not sure what I paid an extra two dollars for on a tuna sandwich

This review isn’t for the food. We all know what sandwhiches they have. This is a rating for the enoloyees and the sitting area. This is a nice subway. They employees are knowledgeable and make sure they take care of their customers. Also they are efficient workers. The sitting area was clean no complaints. Good job Subway! Keep up the good work!

This Subway is good. Great service. The best Subway in Alameda. Good meatball sandwich. Heathy for you. Fast service. The nose level is low. Clean place to eat. The bathroom is out of service which is not good.

I ate at the Subway in Alameda yesterday for the first time ever, only because they were serving a falafel sandwich, it least that what it said. That was the worse sandwich I have ever tasted. There was grit in the mixture and the bread appeared to be stale and very hard. Only Subway could mess up a good sandwich like that.

Ok so I ended up going back into this establishment for it’s convenience and of course the fact that I do enjoy their veggie subs… even though I was well aware of my past experience here, I decided to give it another shot — and I am pleased to say that I had a wonderful experience! They must have hired new employees because I was greeted with smiles and a thank you at the end of the transaction. I feel better about coming here in the future — with the hopes that this continues to be my experience!

WORST Subway EVER! Owners and employees try to cheat and trick customers by skimping on ingredients to save pennies on the dollar. Dear Owner, You try to increase patronage by offering Groupon coupons but your lack of business sense burned you because your offer was a loss. During the last few weeks before the coupon expired, your employees tried to cut back almost 50% of the ingredients including the meats. Do you think your Groupon customers wouldn’t notice when you only put 2 thin slices of turkey or ham instead of the normal 4 slices on your foot long… I mean 11 inch sandwich? When I called your employee out on her cheap trick, she said Groupon coupons don’t get all the ingredients. Really? Where does it say that!?! Where in Groupon fine print does it say you can treat customs like the sh*t food you serve? It’s karma — You try to cheat your customers by being cheap. Now you’re going to loose even more customers because you pissed off a vocal Unilocaler who’s exposing your poor judgement on customer service and quality. The owners and employees are true ‘Indian Givers’. Literal and figurative. Sincerely, Never Coming Back Cc: Groupon Inc. and Subway Franchise

Value if you have a Groupon, but the poor people there were struggling to redeem it. They only had one cash register and it was so embarassing that I was holding up the whole line…

Its hit and miss here. The sandwiches are good, but it can be super slow and there have been a few instances in the last few weeks where instructions weren’t followed, for example: I said no onions and they promptly piled my sandwich with red onions. Will probably go back as the staff is pretty new so I’m hoping that they get more comfortable with their jobs in time.

I usually avoid going to this specific subway because of the stale ingredients and the terrible service but I was optimistic about going again under the guise that new people were working there. Do not be fooled by the hype! I rarely complain about any establishment in print no matter how terrible the food or how bad the service is. However, on this occasion I feel that something must be said. I printed up a Groupon(that I paid for) in order to use it at this location. When I handed it to the«gentleman» at the counter he copped a disgusted and belligerent tone claiming that he had never heard of Groupon even though his location was one of only two listed on the coupon. When he retreated briefly to get a phone call his wife(or co-worker) saw the Groupon and immediately began filling my order. Apparently she was familiar with them and possessed a small degree of common sense and human compassion. Halfway through making one sandwich the man returned and refused to honor my Groupon. It is my belief that he refused it merely because I was getting a good deal on the food THUSTHEREASONANYONEBUYS A GROUPON. if Subway as a franchise chose not to collaborate with groupon I would be fine with paying my own way as I rarely use coupons. However, on this occasion I was attempting to regain trust with this particular subway establishment. Worst case scenario the shop owner would have made only a small profit on my food order that day. However, what he chose to do was be disrespectful, dismissive and belligerent all the while playing dumb as his wife/co-worker clearly knew what was up. If you enjoy your sandwiches with a double helping of JERK make sure that you patronize this subway franchise.

The sandwiches served here are the freshest sandwiches you ll find around town. They are really satisfying. If you happen to be craving for a sandwich for dinner this is definitely the place to go.

Subway is subway. What are you gonna do, it is a chain. The difference with this one is horrible customer service. Beware of the bored sandwich artist.

If you want a $ 5 foot long, this ISNOT the place. I also seem to be continually disappointed on how they make their sandwiches. Yes, they do pile on the veggies, but one should be able to guage how much of each they’ll need to put after they get the customer’s reply on what they want. I guess it is too much to ask. Next time, I’ll take the longer drive to the other location.

Oh Park street Subway how I love thee… You make my veggie patty sandwich so lovely… Sourdough, mustard, pickles, and cheese… Your employees so friendly, chips and a drink… Yes, please!
