Cafe Perk Ups

My brother read about this place opening on some Albany blog and insisted we go either for dinner or quickly after dinner. I am not in love with savory crepes so I insisted on going just for dessert. I ordered the chocolate mousse crêpe, my brother the apple and pear crêpe and we brought home a fruit crêpe (blueberries and blackberries?) for his wife. None of us were in LOVE with our crepes but they weren’t bad or anything. I thought mine had a bit too much mousse and I should have opted for the vanilla crêpe instead of the chocolate. Also I don’t understand the rolling of the crêpe instead of just folding it in half. I think it would have been better that way. My brother liked his crêpe but didn’t rave about it. His wife thought hers lacked fruit and she was a bit disappointed. I can understand that this place just opened and they are still getting the hang of everything. I will definitely go back again if asked.
