Not too bad for a hotel restaurant. Corn chowder was very hearty, topped with bacon crumbles. Nice and hot. Pot stickers were far more crispy than«sticky». Friend’s steak was more well done than she asked. But given the dining options within walking distance of the hotel(none really), the convenience of staying onsite was good.

The food hear was pretty good had the chicken Alfredo pasta and a few beers. It’s slightly over priced but its in the hotel so that is to be expected. There beer selection could be better plus they were out of a few of the beers on there menu.

This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Garden Inn that is located at the Albany international airport. At first I wasn’t expecting much from the food here. After I got the food I was shocked it was very good. Everything here was handmade and tasted very fresh. I had the pot stickers The sesame Thai chicken wings. I also had a flat bread with mozzarella grilled chicken roasted peppers and pesto sauce. There is also a bar that is attached to this restaurant where they have a good wine selection as well as liquor. I ended up getting a quad shot of Grey goose straight. Overall it’s definitely not what you expect when you go to a hotel I was very surprised and I highly recommend coming here. If I was staying at a different hotel I would drive to this hotel just to eat here again.

Yes, I know this is the restaurant inside the Hilton Garden Inn adjacent to the Albany International Airport, but I think people need to know this should be a dinner destination. Let’s face it, the ambiance does not lend one to think of a dining experience but before you think I am either a shill or crazy, hear me out. The food is out of this world great! I am not talking about their breakfast(could be a completely different place, but that is another story). I have been to Albany twice and stayed here both times. Both times I chose to eat here most nights. Last night i had the pork osso bucco. It was huge, melt-in-your-mouth tender and so flavorful. It was accompanied by real mashed potatoes and crunchy green beans. To top it off(figuratively and literally) was an apple demi glad. MMMMM good. The night prior I had a wonderful salmon filet with seasoned rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly, moist and tasty. The bar has a very nice selection of red wines(cabs, pinots, merlots, malbecs, and even a chianti) — nothing presumptuous but a couple labels of each. Finally, there is a patio off the bar with a gas fire pit and would be a wonderful place to let dinner settle. All I am saying is if you are restauranted out, maybe give them a try.
