Pal Japanese Video

I stumbled upon this place when I was researching online for Japanese movies/​TV series DVD rentals. I thought I’d have to go to Japantown, but conveniently found close to my house.
This store doesn’t have a website so I’ll try to be informative here.
There is a one time $ 10 membership. DVDs rentals are $ 3 for TV series and $ 4 for movies. It’s a 3 day rental and there’s a drop off slot outside if you show up after hours, must be returned by the morning of the day after it was due.
There are no subtitles or English traslation for the DVDs. It’s all in Japanese.
Some of the categories of TV shows are: variety shows, drama, samura/​period drama. Depending on the show, they have DVDs of shows that aired 1 week prior so you can watch new episodes. When you rent the shows it comes with 2 episodes (I think 2 episodes for 1 hour shows)
The man that runs the place is always there, he speaks English and Japanese. He’s a nice man. There is a parking lot in the back so there shouldn’t be an issue with parking.
I’ve rented about 3 – 5 DVDs from here in the past several months since I discovered this place and the quality has always been good.
They do not accept credit cards. Cash or check only.
