Best Starbucks in the Capital District, and they have Reserve(a.k.a. «The Clover») Coffee!!! The service is quick and there is plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your coffee, plus, there is ample parking and shopping nearby.

Fresh decaf is wonderful. When I came in they had no decaf, but they were happy to put it on for me a great place to sit and enjoy coffee. Friendly and other than that typical Starbucks. Good place to park a bike.

One of the fastest Starbucks in the area, and definitely one of the best with service. They revamped the whole place so it’s very clean looking– also they have the clover at this location!

Fair to unfriendly service on hottest day of the year. NO lemon slices? EVER? Sorry, I like lemon in my tea, call me crazy. Not enough chairs, dirty tables.

Best Starbucks with classy service and environment. I would say better than most Starbucks in NYC. The owner certainly understands daily customer’s secret wishes. Plenty of seats, including four comfy coaches five patio sets. Drinks taste better than average in tidy space, nice chairs, and nice view of cabinet products. Most important of all, the in-store arrangement welcomes users who need outlet and free WiFi. I never saw anyone who needs an outlet but could not find one. I feel welcome when reading or writing at the shop. Highly-recommended Starbucks at Albany. It’s surprising that they don’t play loud music in the morning, which is my favorite time of day. Just the smell of coffee and moderate sunshine is enough to start a perfect weekday morning =) P. S. great attitude and manner when you accidentally bump into their advertisment. Of course, you won’t get a free drink, but you will be treated as a valuable customer. I really enjoy the place where you only smell the scent of coffee instead of other people’s body ‘fragrance.’ The daily crowd are nice and friendly people, and it seems to provide an excellent ‘3rd-place’ working experience, as the company has been promoted. I rarely writes reviews for a chain store, but this Starbucks is worthy of my time and efforts to recommend it. However, as in most starbucks, the good seats run out fast, but it is definitely worth the wait to experience the best Starbucks at Albany! Or I would say way better than the one at crossagte mall.

There was a rumor a few years back that this location was going to be getting a Clover machine. As soon as I heard the rumor I went to the shop, asked someone about it, and was told that if they ever got one of those machines it wouldn’t be for a while. Fortunately, I’m a patient man. Because now it’s here. Actually, it’s probably been there for a long time. I’m pretty sure the remodel happened while I was away in New Jersey. But the details are unimportant, because now there is finally a Clover machine in the Capital Region. It’s kind of like a semi-automated pour over device that allows this mega coffee retailer to make higher end coffee one cup at a time. When I was there I got to have a cup of their Brazil Nova Resende. Each of these coffees gets its own trading card that explains a bit more about the beans, where it comes from, and the flavor profiles. This one was supposed to have caramel aromas and flavors of sweet plums and dried figs. I could get a little bit of the dried figs on the finish. But more than anything else, it’s a fun exercise in learning more about coffee one cup at a time. Granted, it’s a bit more expensive. The tall set me back $ 3.24 but that’s no more than Starbucks least expensive espresso and milk drinks. And these cups of specialty lot coffees are much better than the espresso that comes from their push-button system. So, I’m back. And I’m looking forward to using this convenient location and this nifty bit of technology to explore more of the wide world of coffee.

This is the closest Starbucks to my work– so I get over here a lot, some days we even walk from work to here and have a nice beverage for the walk back. It is about 2.25 mi round trip for us. Depending on the time of day it can be pretty busy in here… Most days the Baristas are great, but I have seen them roll their eyes at an especially slow person in the line– but that was only once so absolutely forgivable. The thing I love most about Starbucks is the Tazo Chai Latte’s– strangely enough, I am NOT a coffee drinker– but Starbucks offers me enough Non– Coffee bevies to keep me coming back wayyyy to often! This one can be pretty crowded in Winter when the weather has forced those who normally sit outside indoors again for a few months… One of my favorite Starbucks! Who hasn’t rolled their eyes at someone a time or two when they thought the other person was being an idiot!

Not very friendly baristas but my pumpkin spice latte was on point, and there was a lot of seating, but it was freezing and i’m usually not one to complain about the cold.

Flies inside and an unmixed dirty green tea latte make this negative review mandatory. The lack of upkeep of tables and chairs by the staff with the high turnover of patrons furthers this disappointing location. Management needs to refer to Corp. standards ASAP. Only good things: free lot parking and outdoor seating(all location based).

So snobbery lives in the coffee realm? Yeah it does, but even when I get the wrong thing from Starbucks I pretty much enjoy it. Its the best coffee chain around here. Tim Horton’s is on a whole other level of 5 stardom love, but I have a nice affair going on with Starbucks. I hope there will be no jealousy between these two. I love them both

Ample outdoor seating but marred by a smoker today, although the staff volunteered to go chase them off when I mentioned it in passing to my companion. Props for htat. The inside has a lofty ceiling and much more seating than the average ‘Bux, and a lot of it was comfy chairs and not the hard café seating many modern Starbucks sport. No complaints about the service. Not bad for a Bux.

I want to like this Starbucks. I really do. The outdoor seating is so nice in the summertime. Alas, the service and quality are hit or miss. And when they miss, they miss with gusto. I’ve had some impressively crappy beverages served to me here; so crappy that I wished I had stayed home and brewed myself something bland and boring in my own little coffee pot for free. And I’m no coffee snob. I’ll probably still come here on the occasional perfect summer night. Or maybe I’ll grab a coffee at another nearby Starbucks location and come here for the patio. They can’t make me leave. I’m a paying Starbucks customer.

What am I going to say? It’s Starbucks. I HATE their espresso, and will NEVER buy a regular latte here.(For those of you non-believers, know THIS: Starbucks does not actually roast their beans. That would take time and finesse, something they do not value. They burn the beans. This is why their coffee tastes like shite.) This particular location. Well, it’s clean. And the people are nice. And there are a few comfy chairs. It’s not awful. And I will say, this place saved my butt several times during the summer when I was getting to know the area and was sick of the Dunkin Donuts’s Frozen Cappuccinos that tasted like they came from the gas station. Extra star just for that. Also, I guiltily admit that I really do enjoy the holiday specials – the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Eggnog Latte, and the *deathly* Espresso Truffle. But this is because it’s more desserty and you can’t taste the coffee. ‘Nuff said.

Ohhh Starbucks. You are responsible for turning me into a coffee lover and appreciating a good cup of joe. You are even responsible for countless mom and pop coffee shops. Without your influence the fact is many Americans would be in the dark about good coffee and many of the mom and pop coffee shops would never have open. This is all in the past though, today you represent an underwhelming experience, you have trouble making a cup of coffee that represents anything but average and you have lost your mojo. Your espresso drinks are ok but whats with everything else? Now you only offer one below average blend of coffe and in its place is drinks that contain no coffee. I will continue to hope that someday you get your mojo back.

I normally only went to this Starbucks when I was getting my haircut at Jean Paul close by. It’s actually a fairly decent café, with nice indoor and outdoor seating, clean environment, and fairly amicable staff. This basically is your run-of-the-mill Starbucks. I prefer the Starbucks on Wolf Road, which is the only reason I docked this place a star. *WiFi hotspot(TMobile)
