Terrible service here for years! Service is extremely slow, 30 minutes for a kiddy meal. No joke! Kids meal, plain burger, regular fry, that is it. As of late the burgers are ALWAYS raw! It is so gross. I will not be going back. I used to love their big crisp fries and toasted hamburger buns now I rarely have a toasted bun much less a cooked burger. Blake’s overall quality has gone down it is very sad.

Saturday and Sunday mornings are the worst for trying to get breakfast. If your in a hurry plan on waiting at least 20 min for a burrito. I have waited 45 minutes before. I have tried calling to place my order but no one answers or its busy at least 6 out of 10 times. The one on golf coarse is faster. I go to that one all the time now. I spend the extra 10 min drive just for faster service. The food is great! No one wants to wait 20 – 45 min for fast food.

Is Blake’s LotaBurgar SO desperate they have to hire teenagers who are rude, ignorant and have NOWORKSKILLS what so ever!!! Calling in an order is a HUGE mistake, but going in and having to deal with loud obnoxious, foul mouthed wanna be gangster, and wanna be divas is by far worst. Not to mention the crew of idiotic friend who come in and sit around till their«Boo» gets off work. DO they know how foolish and ignorant they look and sound not to mention how bad of an image they are giving the company ?? This location is so ghetto for lack of a more descriptive word that captures the atmosphere. NOPEOPLE skills. We don’t care about your stupid fake eye lashes, and fake nails. We don’t care who’s girl friend you hooked up with last week, or how stupid you look with your pants hanging off of your immature butt. We are consumers who want our food the way we ordered it because we are using OURHARDEARNEDMONEY. Grow up, get a clue and a life. Your parents would be appalled and if they are not well we know where you get it from. MANAGEMENT you should care that the public is getting ripped off, and this location is horrific. CLOSE and save your self the embarrassment. When we finally get orders they are WRONG!!! I can’t believe these kids have trouble making burgers and making change and getting orders correct, good luck in corporate America. And… I’ve seen your so called skill and Hollywood is not in your near future.

You get to wait for your food for about 30 minutes and when it finally comes it’s not what you ordered. Just a bunch of high school kids who don’t care. This Blake’s gives the company a bad name. Avoid this Blake’s at all cost.

Waited in the drive thru for over thirty minutes. I suggest if you want fast food to go somewhere else.

The burger was amazing! This was my first time here and I can say I will come back when I visit again. The speed of service was decent and I feel this was due to no one in the restaurant.

I can’t believe they messed up my order twice in one day. First, they under cooked the hamburger patty and it was like they cooked the meat while it was still frozen. So of course, they fixed their mistake with a second chance burger and the burger had nothing on it. Just the meat and the bread. Horrible burger joint by far out of all the Blake’s. This location sucks.

Abq, Local, N.M. Blake’s Lotaburger is one f the must stop and grab a burger, however not just any old burger. I’m talking about the Blake’s Green chile Lota Burger with season fries. This hits the spot like nothing else and until you try this you are missing out on something very tasty. My stop was good. The staff were nice and my food came out quickly given that 4 people had just ordered before me. Blake’s has a old time feel, but a new time taste.

When I became a freshman in HS, my parents started giving me a $ 20/week allowance. Rich with the newfound freedom of being able to leave campus for lunch, and flush with cash, I made at least 1 visit a week to the Lotaburger down the road from my school. I always ordered the same thing, an Itsaburger with cheese(the Lotaburger was too much for me, both financially, and in terms of serving size), fries, and a(large) Dr. Pepper. I remember the total always came to just under half my weekly allowance, and each time I thought to myself that I really needed to find a cheaper option for lunch, but I don’t know that I ever did. Even back then, eating at Blake’s wasn’t the cheap way to go. These days I don’t eat at Blake’s much anymore. In fact, until the last few months, it had probably been at least a year since I’d been to any of the Lotaburger locations around town, and even longer than that since I had one of their burgers. I’d heard they made good breakfast burritos, but had always been skeptical(for whatever reason), and never actually eaten one before. What changed? Well, one morning the school I work for brought in Blake’s breakfast burritos for the staff, hunger won out over skepticism, and I tried one. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually pretty good! What it is that makes these breakfast burritos so darn yummy? As almost any New Mexican will tell you, a proper breakfast burrito requires at least eggs, cheese, potatoes, chile, and probably some sort of breakfast meat like bacon, ham, sausage or chorizo. Having the right chile is critical, and making a burrito without it in NM is practically an arrestable offense, so be sure to have both red and green available if you’ll be serving a NM crowd. Proportioning those ingredients correctly is just as important, and Blake’s has managed to find that sweet spot of having the right balance of chile, eggs, potatoes, and cheese in each burrito. I always order the bacon burrito(#1), and while I wouldn’t mind seeing a little more bacon in it, I’ve never felt like what’s already there is skimped on, making its overall value for the dollar decent. Oh, and come hungry, their burritos are big, not knife and fork big, but still big enough that your average human will need 2 hands to eat one. A bacon burrito and large fountain drink will set you back around $ 6 — $ 7(I can’t remember exact cost), so while it’s certainly not something I can afford to do every day, but 1x — 2x a month won’t break the bank either. In terms of service, everyone I’ve come in contact with at this location has always been friendly, helpful, and professional, but the speed at which you get your food can be hit or miss. In my last 2 or 3 visits I’ve been able to get my food in as little 5 — 10 minutes, but in my first 2 or 3 visits to this location it seemed the avg serving time(from order to receipt of food) was closer to 15 — 20 minutes. I’ve not visited another Blake’s in at least several years, so I can’t speak to how the store I’m reviewing here stacks up against other locations, so make of that what you will. Overall I’d give(this) Blake’s 3.5 stars, with a .5 star reduction for the unpredictable service speed. If things continue their upward trend over the next few months, then I’ll update my review accordingly. Until then, I’d still recommend you stop by and grab one of their burritos, just do it sometime when you’re not in too much of a hurry!

Chile’s are hot, soda’s are cold and the burger is flavorful. We had had a bad experience at a different Lotaburger several years ago and haven’t been back since. We decided to give it one more try. The chile’s were a bit too hot for my wife, so she won’t be having those on her burger again, but I enjoyed them(I’m a heat fiend). The burger was better than McDonalds, but the fries were ordinary and definitely not as good as McDonalds fries. This location was clean, easy to get to and the staff was normal for a bunch of high school kids.

This Blakes is a good location if you have a lot of time to wait… I called in my breakfast order, they told me 45 min(was Sunday) I was like ok no problem they are busy. Went in about 50 min and they hadn’t even started my order. Waited another 20 min and left, got out to car and was missing a sandwich. Back in wait a other 15 min. Breakfast Burrito a soggy messy sandwich was soggy and messy also. I will never go back to this Blakes again…

Second time to this location with slow service. A drive thru wait that is almost 40 minutes is beyond Unacceptable… A burger is that is slightly above average is not worth the wait in the future.

This location is convenient if you’re in Ventana Ranch or surrounding areas(there are only a few food choices available). My family usually comes on Sunday mornings or Friday mornings. We order the breakfast burritos. They are big and yummy! Most of the time it is quiet and the service is quick. Like the majority of Lota Burger locations, this location is clean.

$ 3 for a hearty breakfast burrito? You got my attention! I tried out Blake’s since its literally right down the road from me and I wasn’t up for driving to Twisters. Sure, call me lazy, but it’s Sunday. Come on now. Anyway, my husband told me to give them a shot since he normally hits them up when he’s on his way to work and they remind him of a place we frequently haunted back in California. For him to say that, they gotta be good since he’s a major foody. Sure enough, their breakfast burritos are AWESOME! I gorged myself silly on a sausage burrito and it was out of this world. and it’s large enough that I could save some for tomorrow’s breakfast! He had the bacon burrito with green chile, allowed me to sample it since I refused to put chile in my burrito(yes, I realize that’s blasphemy not to smother the life out of my food with red/green chile in ABQ) and to my surprise, the chile didn’t burn my soul and it was actually quite delicious. I was pretty partial to Twisters, but Blake’s blows them out of the water. If you gripe about them taking a long time to make your food, come on, it’s made fresh. Real eggs, sausage and hash browns… MUCH better than McDonalds. If you’re pressed for time, just call in your order in advance and pick it up… their website has all their locations & phone numbers listed. It’s not rocket science. If I can use a phone to call our stuff in, you can totally manage it as well.

Good burger and fries, service could be quicker but the big draw back that keeps me from going is you can’t get a Coke with you meal. All the better burger chain provide Coke as it is preferred by about 65% of the public. Change to coke products to satisfy your patrons.

Who doesn’t love Blake’s Lotaburger? I’ve been eating here for over 15 years and they have never failed to deliver delicious, succulent burgers. I usually go for an Itsa Burger Combo with green chili and seasoned fries(to die for). You will probably have to wait a little bit for your burger but its well worth it!

This honestly may sound racist but it seems like its hit or miss with lotaburger when Mexican ladies are in the kitchen burgers are awesome as well as breakfast buritos when teens are cooking the food just sucks

I love me some Blake’s Lotaburger whenever I’m in town. Its the best burger here in the good ol U S of A. Better than Five Guys, better than Whataburger, better than Mickey Ds and better than In and Out. Sure they take a little while but that’s fine. This ain’t no Mickey Ds. Just call your order in ahead and go pick it up.
