Denny’s

I love this place early in the morning & I mean around 5 am. The food is excellent and I like that it is not busy. I don’t really like crowded places to eat. This place serves the best Hot Chocolate drinks, unfortunately the machine wasn’t working. If you are looking for a great place to hang out early in the morning-​this is the place. Good service, Good food, Good music, & a great place to get it together before your day starts.

Where to begin… Service was terrible, food was mediocre and overpriced. Won’t be back. Avoid this place. Would have given it less than 1 star if possible.

One of the best Denny’s I’ve ever been to. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean including the restrooms. Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out very quickly with almost everything we ordered. The coffee was fresh and hot with a good flavor. We’ll definitely come back to dine here again.

Really fun time! Especially if you enjoy waiting an hour for your food and then just looking at it because you weren’t even supplied silverware. :) Really. So fun. Thrilling.

We had been to a movie downtown and decided to grab a bite to eat (9:30 PM). This Denny’s is fairly new and décor is beautiful. Our waitress was wonderful and efficient. We were also checked on by another server and the manager to make sure all was good. There were four of us dining. One had a club with fries… very good & good portion. One had Tilapia with pico de gallo and avocado, with two sides — corn — squash all cooked perfectly and very fresh. Two had the bacon avocado burgers … cooked to perfection, avocado was sweet creamy at perfect ripeness.
We usually go to other Denny’s and they are usually predictable. This location was NOT it exceeded our expectations.
Try this location on Gibson near the airport.

Absolutely the best service. Hot food and a nice environment. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Don’t even think of going to IHOP over this place. Even the pancakes are better here!

Also hands down the best Dennys Restaurant across the nation! We travel a whole lot (who would have known, I have the best one in town) and have a dennyS down the street, but i seriously drive 10 miles from home just to receive the exemplar customer service from the entire facility! Everyone is in a good mood and it is all because they have a strong leader! It’s inevitable not to see Jerry the manager stroll around to ensure everyone is taking care of; just by doing his he feeds positive energy. He’s hands on with every person that walks in and always with a genuine smile, he’s amazing! The place is spotless and has a real feeling of what all DennyS should be like!!!

We came when this place was very new. We had a large party and the service was good. The menu was missing a couple staple breakfast items compared to other places but otherwise had a good selection. Very clean, very easy to find and our server was on it!

Hands down the best Denny’s I have been to in my life. The restaurant is clean and new. The staff is genuinely friendly and caring. The main reason I am so impressed with this place is because of the manager, Jerry. I have worked in the service industry for 25 years from dives to 4 star restaurants. Jerry exemplifies the qualities of your dream manager. I watched how he cruised through the restaurant personally meeting the patrons, and ensuring their experience exceeded their expectations. He holds his staff to high standards, but helps them and appreciates them often. (Staff concurs on this). A happy staff means happy customers. I really think Jerry should be a regional manager or greater in order to train and inspire all Denny managers to run their operation as beautiful as he does. If I owned a company, any company, I would swoop in and hire him and his whole team.
And I love the loaded veggie omelette!

Well you know for a chain this wasn’t a bad experience at all. I woke up in a sleepy, lazy stuper and decided to have someone else make me breakfast today. I took the advise of Bobby M. and went here before it got its restaurant chain funk on.
First, let me say eating here was satisfying because I live right next door and heard every beep, clash, and clang from ground breaking to grand opening (Dec 2014). Annoying, so when I walked in at 8am it was nice to see how everything is still new. I was only the second customer in, so I took a booth and got set up for a nice long study sesh. The waitress was really nice and definitely had the diner feel as she continually called me ‘hun’. I settled on Cinnamon pancakes and coffee then studied away.
It did get busy later towards 9, but for the most part they left me alone to study. Real nice. Also worth mentioning is the bathrooms were real clean and smelled lemon-​y fresh. So my recommendation to you is going to be the same Bobby M. gave to me, go check it out before it gets that run-​down Dennys funk to it. Happy breakfast.
