Denny’s

This by far has got to be the worst Dennys I have ever been in 30 mins at 647 in the evening on a Tuesday to even get our order taken 3 other tables in the restaurant and 2 servers manager is standing around like he had no idea how to pick up a towel and clean a table or serve a water refill! The floor was a mess with papers and silverware all over the place! This entire team needs retraining and definitely new management. I should have gone to taco bell or McDonald’s I think I would have gotten better service as for the food well we will see I’m still waiting on my salad 15 mins now after ordering, guess they are growing the lettuce and milking the cow for the ranch dressing! Corporate needs to shut this place down! Sitting here watching the servers flirt with the cook while food sits in the window and the server has my salad in hand! REALLY PEOPLE!!!

Food was like every other Denny’s, but the server was so pleasant and I noticed that most of them were as well! Thanks Christy!

The pluses:
Convenient location. staff was friendly and clean and neat in appearance. Service was okay *. Manager was visible and attentive. Food was hot and delicious.
The cons:
* Our waiter had an odd behavior towards me (women?). Most servers are taught that when waiting on a couple you take the woman’s order first. He didn’t but was young, nbd my husband redirected him. Then I realize that he is standing between my husband and I and that even while I am speaking he has his back to me. He was at our table 5 times and never faced me other than when he put my food down (when he brought the drinks he put them all down in front of hubby). Weird
The bathroom… Grungy. Not messy, not hasn’t been cleaned this week but the could be clean if they tried, has not been scrubbed in a good while, grungy. Drives me crazy when managers with good facilities and an ample staff don’t «manage» to keep things up.

4 of us walked in, there was only two other tables. 1 hr and 15 mins later 2 meals came out. 10 mins later the other two came out. One was cold the other totally wrong meal. After sending them back we never saw them again. Do not eat there. Horrible service. Go next door to Village Inn, good food and service.

Not many places near our campground but we did find a Dennys. Always a fair selection of food and fair prices. Husband loved his fish and chips. I had a breakfast for dinner with a banana nut bread french toast. A pretty heavy smell of smoke in this non-​smoking restaurant.

If I could give this no stars I would. Me & three other people went to this location around 2am. We walk in and see there is two other tables there, pretty dead. We stand at the entrance and the server greets us by saying «Four? I’ll get to you when I get to you.» Okay, what a way to greet your customers. She tells us to sit anywhere we want but pretty much every table was dirty. We end up finding one and sitting for about fifteen minutes with no menus, and no drinks till the waitress shouts at us across the restaurant what we wanted to drink. We find a couple menus from a dirty table near ours because we figure we might as well get our order ready when the waitress comes back. Ten minutes later we get our waters and the waitress apologizes saying she is «slammed», well I am a server so I could sympathize with her if we were in a loud, busy restaurant and she had to run around like a chicken with no head, but like I said before, there was TWO tables besides ours. She then says her table has «ordered for themselves» and she needed to take care of them first. Fine.
We sit for what felt like forever, drank all our waters and waited some more. I then said we would wait ten more minutes if she didn’t come back we were leaving. We didn’t even make it the ten minutes as I saw the waitress standing around talking in the back, I grabbed the rest of the people with me and we left. As we walked out, the waitress in the most condescending voice asked us «Oh, you’re leaving?» Like really? We sat here nearly an hour. Yes of course.
Honestly the worst dining experience of my life and don’t recommend going here at all.

Took 15 minutes to get a drink order because the waiters could not figure out whose section my table belonged to. Pancakes were undercooked and because of the delay in drinks our order was rushed. The rushed order caused our drink orders to be incorrect and also our food order incorrect. Only reason for the 2 stars was because our waiter stepped up to serve us when our table was not in his section.

In from out of town, staying next door, so figured I’d order something To-​Go. Gotta be honest, ordering takeout from a Denny’s at 10pm on a Monday night, I wasn’t expecting to be impressed.
But boy was I surprised. The server who took the order, Johnny, could not have been friendlier, more efficient, and more accommodating. My order was perfectly assembled and on time and once inside to pick it up, I was continually impressed by the warmth and genuine care and concern for the guest.
And the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Well done!

Not one of the better locations for a dennys here in Albuquerque but my French toast was ok. Watched a SWAT unit gear up in the parking lot as I was leaving.
