Authentic Mexican Bakery in ABQ! Friendly, Fast, and Great Food! Mostly patronized by local residents of Mexican descent, this place in addition to Mexican pastries and baked goods, sell Authentic Mexican Food like Caldo at really low and decent prices to feed the hard-working Mexicans working/living in the area. The place feels like you’re in Mexico because I think I was the only if not the first Asian customer they’ve ever had because literally everyone was stearing at me(not in a weird or nasty way but more like a surprised kind of way) But the main reason why they ket stearing at me in awe was because I spoke and joked around in fluent Spanish with my Mexican friend while I was ordering my food lol Yes folks I grew up in 5 different Latin American countries for 12 years so I know my Spanish like the natives. Overall, a great place to grab some Mexican goodies to snack on or stop by for a hearty lunch!

This place is definitely a hole in the wall and they serve some great burritos and pan dulce. I ordered a picadillo taco, carne adovada taco, and a donut, which came out to around $ 7. I should’ve just ordered one burrito because they are HUGE and I couldn’t finish the second one. Some things that could use improvement: –Very limited selection of lunch items –Ventilation… It was hotter than hell and the spicy food made it seem even worse –One of the employee’s kids were acting like maniacs in the dining area, which was pretty annoying

try the burritos! they are made with homemade tortillas… they are sooooo good and about $ 3.50 each alot cheaper then the ‘burritos alinstante’ next door… the chile verde ones are hott and good and the chile rojo ones will have you asking for more. It taste a lot like carne adovada. they also offer choices of chicharron and also breakfast burritos… i’m sure they are all good!
